Chapter 265: Why Are You Crying?
Duan Yixin’s body was already suspended in mid-air because of the suction force, but she was still holding his sleeve tightly and said anxiously, “Last question! Who is Liang Jiaying?”

Hearing her question, the man no longer pulled Duan Yixin’s hand off his sleeves and said solemnly, “Be careful with her. She has great power and can affect the world and everyone around her. If you want to change the ending, you must defeat her.”

After he said that, Duan Yixin nodded and let go of his sleeve. When her body flew into the sky, the man shouted, “Remember to find a man named You Xiaocheng! He is the only one who can help you change the ending!”

As his voice echoed around her, Duan Yixin slowly lost consciousness.

Duan Yixin heard someone calling her and slowly opened her eyes. When she saw Xuan Ruiquan’s worried look in front of her, she reached out, hugged his neck, and pulled him down. She let him go, wiped away her tears, and said hoarsely, “I’m sorry. I’m fine now.”

Xuan Ruiquan looked at her heartbrokenly. He gently wiped away the tears from the corners of her swollen eyes and asked softly, “What’s wrong? Why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?”

Duan Yixin shook her head and said, “I’m just happy that you can stay with me.”

Xuan Ruiquan sensed something was wrong and said, “I will always be by your side. Even if you leave me, I will find you and beg you to stay.”

When Duan Yixin heard this, she remembered the other Xuan Ruiquan and cried again. He indeed did exactly what he had said. Even though he had seen her charred bones, when he saw her soul, he still begged her to stay.

Seeing his girlfriend crying again, Xuan Ruiquan didn’t know what to do. He sat up and pulled her up with him. He sat her on his lap and hugged her. Xuan Ruiquan patted her back gently, giving Duan Yixin the sense of security she always felt when they were together in her previous world.

He smiled and said, “Wait for me here.”

“I was told by someone to find him. Can you tell me who he is?”

Xuan Ruiquan noticed the urgency in her voice, took her hands, and said, “Let’s talk while eating.”

Without waiting for her to react, Xuan Ruiquan carried her to the table. After he sat next to her, he helped her pick up the food and said, “Open your mouth.”

Duan Yixin looked at the spoon in front of her lips and said, “I can eat it by myself. You don’t need to serve me.”
