Duan Yixin didn’t know whether she had time to enjoy that infinite blessing. She opened her eyes and picked up the teacup. She fell silent, and the two of them drank tea for a long time.

After they finished drinking the tea, Duan Yixin looked at Heavenly Dao and smiled, “Thank you for the tea.”

“It’s time for you to go back.”

Heavenly Dao reached out and gently patted her head. When he retracted his hand, a golden light appeared above her head, covering her body. Before Duan Yixin saw the golden light, Heavenly Dao waved his hand and sent her back.

While she was staring outside, Yu Jingxian walked out of the bathroom. He saw her sitting on the bed in a daze and asked, “Why did you get up so early? You should sleep more.”

Duan Yixin came back from her thoughts and turned to look at Yu Jingxian. Seeing that he was only covering his lower body with a towel, she turned away and said, “You should get dressed, or you might catch a cold.”

Yu Jingxian noticed something was wrong and walked up to her. He wiped his wet hair casually, threw away the towel on the sofa, and sat on the bed beside her.

He reached out and held her hands, “What’s wrong? Did someone make you unhappy?”

Duan Yixin shook her head and smiled at him, “I just woke up, and my brain is still very slow.”

Yu Jingxian knew that she had the habit of sitting on the bed for a while after waking up, but he still felt that today was different from usual.

He stared at her for a while and said, “I have to go to the headquarters today and can only come back at night. Do you want me to bring something back to you?”

After giving the instructions, Duan Yixin controlled the wheelchair and drove it to the greenhouse. She pushed open the glass door and walked into the greenhouse. After locking the door, she went to the flowerbed where the little seed had been planted yesterday.

When Yu Jingxian wasn’t paying attention at the dining table, she stole the fruit knife and hid it under the blanket. She held the fruit knife and looked at her hands for a moment before taking the blanket away.
