“You can leave now.”

After the captain left the study, Yu Jingxian frowned slightly and thought, ‘Xin’er is very strange today. Is she hiding something from me?’

In the dining room, Duan Yixin waited for more than ten minutes before Yu Jingxian arrived. She smiled at him and said, “Jingxian, welcome home.”

Yu Jingxian sat next to her and nodded to Butler Su. When the servants were serving the food, he looked at her and asked, “Did you have fun today?”

Duan Yixin nodded, “Mhm. I stayed in the greenhouse today. It’s fun to watch the sky slowly change color through the glass roof.”

Yu Jingxian originally wanted to ask her, but before he could ask, she had already told him. He reached out and held her cheek, frowning slightly.

“Didn’t you get enough rest today?”

Duan Yixin covered his hand with hers and replied, “I just sit in the greenhouse. It’s not tiring.”

“You look paler today. Are you sure you are alright?” He asked again.

Duan Yixin looked at his worried face and smiled, “I’m fine.”

Yu Jingxian wanted to ask again, but she said, “I’m hungry.”

He stared at her for a few seconds and sighed, “Let’s eat first. After eating, I will call the doctor to check your condition.”

Duan Yixin didn’t want him to worry, so she agreed. “All right.”
