For this reason, we have received many complaints in the past few days. Now, Shopkeeper Tan and the physicians are discussing how to solve this urgent need for medicines.”

After speaking, he looked at Duan Yixin and said apologetically, “I’m sorry that I talk too much. Miss Duan, please come this way.”

Duan Yixin raised her eyebrows slightly when she watched the servant putting on an act in front of her but still followed the servant to the side hall. Because the main hall was crowded, no one noticed when the servant took her away. Walking into the side hall, Duan Yixin saw Tan Lidan there as well.

Seeing the servant leading her in, Tan Lidan’s eyes lit up. He stood up from his seat and said politely, “Miss Duan, welcome to our Chang Shou Pharmacy. I have been waiting for you to visit us again.”

Duan Yixin put down the bamboo basket on the ground and sat down in front of Tan Lidan. Unlike the last time she came to Chang Shou Pharmacy, today, the servant took her to a smaller side hall. In the center of the hall, there is only a round table with six wooden stools placed around it.

The decoration in this smaller side hall is simpler than the other side hall, but Duan Yixin can see that the items inside this hall are of higher quality and have a more sophisticated design. She prefers this side hall to another side hall that looks more luxurious because it gives her a sense of tranquility.
