Chapter 157: Denying Him Her Body

Aurora wrapped her arms around his waist as he cradled her head with one hand.

“You are the most beautiful woman in my heart,” Xander smiled as he held her close. Aurora’s eyes turned to a crescent moon as they exchanged gazes and words in the beautiful silence that enveloped them.

Xander leaned in to capture her lips softly as his free hand sneaked inside her top. A giggle escaped Aurora’s lips in between the kiss and Xander swallowed them all with a lingering smile on his lips.

Finally, when he released her lips, he looked her in the eyes and said, “I’m trying to get my proteins now. Can I?”

“You had a long day at work. Shouldn’t you get some rest?” Although Aurora was trying to distract him and get him off her body, she was genuinely worried about him.

“I feel rejuvenized after a cold shower. Besides, I’m used to pressure,” he said to her, but seeing the doubt in her expression, he added, “You have no idea of the kind of training and drills I received in the military. Really, I can work well under pressure. Also running a company is interesting.”

Aurora scoffed. “Is it fun trying to revive a dying company?” she asked, trying to understand his thoughts.

“It’s definitely not fun, but I can assure you that it’s thrilling when it happens.” Xander clarified.

Seeing that they had entered the subject of DANTE Group, Aurora decided to use the opportunity to probe him about his day. She asked for the details regarding the meeting with the investors, and he filled her in on the events.

“What does your family have to say regarding removing Owen from the company?” Aurora asked, catching his disobedient hand that was moving from one boob to the other and holding it in place.

“They don’t have a say,” Xander said, trying to free his hand from her gasp, but she held his freedom down as her life depended on it. A soft cackle escaped his lips as he continued, “I run the company, and they follow my lead. There is no argument there.”

Aurora sighed in relief. She would hate to see him fight with his family over it. As if Xander knew what she was thinking about, he said, “I already issued a warning to them the last time. I gave my final warning. It was left to them to do the right thing, but they all did as they pleased. Now that I have made a decision, none of them have any right to utter a contrary word.”

Aurora agreed with him.

After talking about the important things, Xander helped Aurora to sit up. She just followed his lead, thinking that he was tired and wanted to go to bed. But surprisingly, he grabbed the hem of her top and pulled it up towards her chest.

“Xander!” her voice cautioned she tried to stop him but all her efforts proved abortive as he overpowered her and pulled the top off her head, leaving her upper body nude.

Aurora’s hands quickly moved up to wrap around her chest, hiding her boobs from him. Next, she lifted her gaze and glared daggers at him.

“Sweetheart, no matter how hard you glare at me, I must have my proteins tonight,” Xander spoke in a matter of fact as he pushed her polo to one side of the bed and adjusted his sitting position.

Though there was a playful grin on his lips, Aurora knew that he meant every word he said to her, but she still wanted to put up a fight with him.

Xander tried to tug her arms away from her chest, but she held on strong. He felt like laughing as he watched her attempt to get away from him. “Are you going to deny your husband your body?” he asked as he gave her a meaningful gaze, trying to seduce her with his eyes.

“I’m tired and want to sleep,” Aurora claimed, refusing to meet his gaze. Her position made it difficult for her to lift herself up without any support from her hands. And as taking her hands off her boobs would put her in more danger, she could only subject herself to the discomfort in the meantime.

Xander refused to believe her lies. “You were just talking about business matters with me. How come you suddenly got tired huh?”

“It just happened,” Aurora said, meeting his gaze this time around.

Xander was quiet for a moment as he thought of ways to trick her. He didn’t want to go through the challenging route of overpowering her with his physical abilities, but in the end, he decided to take things easy.

Right as she was in that awkward position, he lifted her and altered their position so she could lie on his bare chest. “You know what I want and how my day went. How can you bear to make things difficult for me.”

Seeing that he had resorted to making peace, Aurora calmed down and slowly removed her arms from around her chest, letting her boobs press onto his warm body. “Can you be a little gentle tonight? My boobs hurt a bit. I think my period will come tomorrow or next.”

As soon as Xander heard about her period, he let out a low groan. “Urggh… I have been so preoccupied these last two days that I forgot to keep an eye on your monthly cycle. But you shouldn’t have reminded me. Now, we have to wait until five or six days before we can do it.”

“But we can do it now if you want,” Aurora countered as her suggestive gaze met his. “No, I had no plans for sex tonight unless you want it. I only wanted your boobs. They are the best natural stress-relief remedy God ever created for husbands,” Xander replied as his fingers moved to caress her bare back in a slow circular motion.

Aurora chuckled softly, finding it interesting with his choice of words and the way he spoke. “So, you don’t want sex, but you want my boobs? Well, you can have them tonight as long as they can comfort you.”
