Chapter 185: Dirty Thoughts at Noon

With all the drama Olivia has been embroiled in lately, one would expect Aurora to have a soft spot for her. Unfortunately, Aurora’s heart was far from that.

Aurora had since disconnected her emotions from them after going through a lot at the hands of that mother and daughter. If it wasn’t for Xander who appeared in her life, Aurora bet that the rest of her life would have been miserable or at worst, she would have been disposed of.

So, all thanks to Xander, she was living a better life and watching her enemies drag each other and make a mess of themselves without her lifting as much as a finger to get revenge.

Aurora read through the comments left for Olivia and became ashamed on her behalf. “I wouldn’t even show my face after this if I were to be in her shoes,” she mumbled to herself as she scrolled through the comment section.

Even though Aurora didn’t show it, she was satisfied watching Olivia receive all the bashing she deserved.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Aurora put her phone away and turned her attention to her laptop screen to continue with her work, but right then, a phone chimed softly.

One glance, a smile turned up on Aurora’s lips. The next moment, she picked up her phone to read Xander’s text and respond to it.

“Hello, Sweetheart! How’s your day going? Have you had lunch yet?”

“Hello, Darling! My day is running smoothly. And yes, I’ve had lunch. What about you?” Aurora texted with a smile.

Xander replied back and even added an eggplant emoji at the end. “I’m just about to have lunch. And my day is boring without you. I miss you a lot.”

Aurora’s jaw dropped as she took a long pause. It took her a moment to recover and the moment she did, she leaned back into her seat and typed back. “Is that what you’ve been thinking all day?”

“Yes.” Xander texted with a wild grin on his face, then he proceeded to continue with, “I wish I was right there in your office so I could sit your ass down on the table and spread your legs apart. What do you think of getting fucked on a mahogany table?”

Almost immediately, Aurora felt her breath get caught in her throat. As she imagined receiving Xander’s hot hard throbbing dick in her office, that certain part of her body reacted followed by a soft moan that escaped from her lips.

“The police will have to know you aren’t your father’s biological daughter which sets the motive for the waiter’s attempt to gun you down before turning to your father.” Xander sent the message and patiently waited for her response.

Aurora paused for a moment before replying, “It’s fine… Just as long as the reinvestigations are kept under wraps. Also, can you ensure that Stella doesn’t leave this country during this period? One can never tell her next move.”

On the other hand, all was not well with Olivia. Throughout the day, she couldn’t get any work done. First, she had to deal with Tea Time’s articles and bashing from netizens attacking her and as if that wasn’t enough drilling for the day, Owen had to show up to the company and slam the divorce papers into her hands right in front of everybody who knew them.

Now, what those his actions make her?

After everything she had said during the LIVE podcast, he had to choose this time to embarrass her and turn her into a laughingstock.

“He has played with my dignity over and over again!” Olivia sobbed as she dabbed her tears and dumped the piece of tissue on the floor.

As she had been crying for a while now, the space around her was littered with tissue papers and that was the least of her problems since she couldn’t even see them yet.

“What am I going to do now?” Olivia sobbed into her palms. “I can’t give in to this after everything he has put me through!”

Olivia felt embittered because checking the history between her and Owen, she was the one who lost to him however she tried to make the situation appear in her favour.

He cheated on her with her best friend at their bachelorette party. They got married and she found out that she was carrying his child but he never for one day asked how the child was doing instead, he had doubts that it belonged to him.

Owen continued with his cheating everywhere he could without regarding her for one beat. Then in other to get a little revenge on him, she induced her miscarriage and pinned it on him.

Next, she asked for divorce only to find out that leaving him would only grant him the freedom he required, hence, she changed her mind and tried to trap him in the marriage. Unfortunately, he retaliated and filed for divorce and even resorted to publicly embarrassing her and exposing her lies about the true situation of their marriage.

“That bastard!” Olivia sniffed as she lifted her head.
