Chapter 186: Call the Police

Olivia was hurting so much, especially after taking her time to go through the divorce papers to discover that she couldn’t get out of it.

Owen had filed for divorce with the count that there wasn’t any love between them, plus the fact that they hadn’t had sex since they wedded, which was enough grounds for divorce.

“I shouldn’t have killed my baby!” Olivia slipped into depression as she rubbed her belly, but it was too late.

In the end, no matter what she does to Owen, it won’t erase the fact that she was the one who suffered the most in their marriage. And now, she was wishing that she tried to cheat back.

As soon as Aurora clocked off work, she picked up her bag and left her office with a smile on her face. Xander had texted her a few minutes ago to inform her that he was already waiting right outside the building for her.

Aurora pressed the button on the elevator and as soon as the doors opened, she saw Olivia leaning at the back. Instantly, her smile faltered. Regardless, she still stepped inside and pressed the number for the floor she was going to.

A moment later, Olivia’s gaze fell on Aurora’s back. She had known she was the one but didn’t attempt to make any reaction until now.

“Are you happy with the way my life turned out? That’s right, you must be laughing at me.” Olivia nodded as she straightened her back, her eyes completely lost the shine that used to be in them.

Aurora didn’t respond to her. Just like one of those comments said, Olivia might need a serious emergency check-up.

As for Olivia, it didn’t matter if Aurora replied to her comments or not, she just continued speaking.

“I can’t believe the current you who is worshipped as Mrs. Scott once dated a man like Owen and was even ready to die for him. But I guess I’m the bigger fool for snatching him from you. I should have just let you have him and found someone better for myself.”

Olivia continued to blabber off and in no time, a ‘ding’ sound went off, signalling the elevator’s stop. And right immediately, the doors opened.

Without wasting a second, Aurora stepped out and passed the security bar to walk towards the entrance door. But what she didn’t expect was for Olivia to lose her shit and chase after her.

“Aurora!” Olivia screamed at the top of her lungs, shocking everyone and forcing Aurora to stop in her steps as onlookers fixed their gazes on them.

“Do you think you deserve to be Mrs. Scott and live a peaceful life while I suffer?” Olivia asked as she came to stand in front of Aurora, blocking off her path.

On the other hand, Aurora narrowed her eyes at Olivia. Seeing her hysterical state, she knew that the situation was going to turn out bad and that was the last thing she wanted.

“Olivia, what do you think you are doing?” Aurora asked, taking in the onlooker’s expressions from the corner of her eyes. She badly didn’t want to appear on the news or be embroiled in any scandals alongside Olivia’s name.

“And what does it look like I’m doing?” Olivia challenged as she stepped closer, her eyes wide like crazy. Laughing to herself, she fixed a death stare on Aurora and continued.

“If it weren’t for me, you should have still been with Owen suffering and taking all his bullshit. But look at what you have caused! You couldn’t even keep a tight leash on your man and let him escape with another woman! Aren’t you dumb?”

Aurora clenched her fists as she felt her cheeks turn red in embarrassment. She just wanted to disappear from this scene and silently prayed that Xander would come for her before Olivia made the matter worse because she looked ready to fight her.

“Olivia, you are making a scene right now, and if you don’t want to appear on the gossip blogs again, I suggest that you stop right now,” Aurora said calmly while searching for options on how to escape.

Hearing Aurora’s command, Olivia laughed to herself. Already a few people had pulled up their phones to start recording the scene which only made Aurora more furious at the situation.

“Don’t you enjoy reading those comments about me? Today, why don’t you appear in the tabloids with me?” As soon as Olivia said that, she dropped her bag on the floor and lounged at Aurora who quickly moved to the side to dodge her.

At the same time, gasps of shock escaped from everyone’s lips and right then Liam walked into the building and caught Olivia trying to make another attempt at Aurora right as the two security men at the checkpoint close to the elevator started rushing over.

“Do you think these people are going to save you from me today?” Olivia went berserk catching the approaching figures of the security guards. “You abandoned Owen on me and left to go marry someone else and today, I am left to clean your mess!”

“Olivia, you better put an end to this madness!” Aurora warned with a mix of anger and nervousness swirling in her but just then, she caught Liam approaching from the corners of her eyes and felt a sense of relief wash over her.

And right as Aurora was a little distracted, Olivia pounced on her. She slapped her arm and immediately raised the other hand to hit her face when Liam grabbed her arms and locked them behind her with one hand, putting a stop to her attacks.

“Who are you? How dare you hold me back!” Olivia screamed as she struggled to set herself free while trying to look behind her and find out who the hell had overpowered but failed to do so as Liam finally put a hand on her shoulder to stop all vigorous movements.

Meanwhile, Aurora was still reeling from the shock of Olivia’s attack. It’s not like she couldn’t fight back. She had a reputation as Mrs Scott to protect, so she shouldn’t be seen engaging in physical attacks in public.

Just then, the two security guards arrived and checked on Aurora, asking if she was okay. Aurora assured them with a nod.

“Are you two going to stand there and watch this man assault me?” Olivia’s voice cut through the crowd’s whispers as she raged on.

But to everyone’s surprise, Liam glanced at the security guards and said, “I am reporting an assault case. Call the police.”
