Chapter 118: Chapter 118 – A Bracelet to Track Your Movement at Every Time
“She’s in a cottage far from the pack house and the pack community. So tell me now. The people I need to work with,” Alessia said without batting an eyelash.
She would just find a way to have Valerie moved to another place but to gain something, she needed to sacrifice something.
The information she gave was not in vain as Alpha Conrad foolishly sent her all the list of people he was working with, regretting having thought of killing her before. Alessia seemed to be even more useful than Adira.
Thinking through it, Alessia was even easier to convince than Adira, as he had to use Adira’s mate to get her to kowtow. Alessia seemed to rather have something against her Alpha and readily agreed.
“I sent you something on your phone. Since you don’t have it with you, you should receive it after reaching the packhouse. This is a copy.” He gave his phone to her and reading the list, Alessia’s eyes darkened with agonizing anger.
However, she ensured not to let her tone betray her. “You have people among all the thirty packs in North America?” She was beginning to realize how dangerous Alpha Conrad was and wondered how he managed to get all those people to his side.
Alpha Conrad had a proud smile on his face from her reaction, feeling like a genius. Perhaps she even saw him as smarter than Alpha Denzel.
“I have not added the Alphas I work with as well as other dons in the human world. That would also be earned after I get Luna Valerie to my side. You have to lure her outside the pack for my men to kidnap her.” Alpha Conrad stated his conditions.
Alessia could betray her brother, knowing he was strong enough to defend himself but not Valerie. Not when she didn’t have a wolf. Alpha Conrad would deem her useless as soon as he found out that what they thought was most special about her was no longer there.
As such, she couldn’t risk it in that aspect. “I gave you her location so why don’t you just go and kidnap her? If she goes missing, I would be the first suspect as I am the only one who knows where she is,” Alessia said seriously, knowing that it would be easier for Valerie to defend herself in her cottage than outside the pack.
Alpha Denzel usually had warriors watching her, so it was safer that way. Alpha Conrad did not read any negative meaning in her words and rather agreed.
“That isn’t a bad idea, but I know she is strong and would defend herself.”
Alessia sneered internally. As an Alpha, he was afraid of Valerie’s skills and yet, he wanted to go against Alpha Denzel. “Why don’t you use the same means you used in getting me here? Silver is a great weapon.”
She knew that Valerie would not react to the silver because she lost her wolf. There was an advantage in losing one’s wolf after all. Alpha Conrad was rather impressed by her suggestions, not seeing through the traps she was setting for him.
“You know what Alessia, you are even smarter than I thought. I would take you back before he begins to suspect your absence, but in case, he realizes it…”
“Don’t worry. I know the excuse to give,” she cut in and replied casually. With the load of information she had, she was certain that her pack would soon be safe from traitors.

“Then I would drive you back, but I have to warn you that I would not enter the pack,” Alpha Conrad said seriously, using his fingers to comb his curly hair. Alessia agreed as she did not want to be seen with him either.
“That is a wise thing to do. It is better that we are not seen together.”
Just as she thought it was all over, Alpha Conrad came up with the most conservative idea. “One last thing, Alessia, since I already told you the people I work with, you have to wear this all the time.”
He gave her a box, she took and opened it, “What is that?”
“A bracelet to track your movement at every time. I can also hear everything you say through it. It only doesn’t have a camera because you are not supposed to take it off. I won’t derive any joy in seeing your nakedness in the bathroom.”
That’s the only reason why there were no cameras on the bracelet was because of respect for private times. Alessia was not liking this. Seemed Alpha Conrad did not trust her as she thought.
“I don’t get it.”
Alpha Conrad explained patiently. “This is how I operate. I get people to work for me and get them spying on each other without any of them knowing who is who. You, on the other hand, are privileged to know more so this special device is for my personal monitoring of you.”
“I feel like a prisoner,” Alessia said honestly, feeling restricted and irritated. How was she going to convey all the information she had to Alpha Denzel with this spy diamond bracelet on her wrist?
“It would only last until I take down Alpha Denzel,” Alpha Conrad assured her. Alessia did not have a choice but to wear it and think later of a way out of the situation.
Due to this twist of events, Alessia did not waste time speaking to anyone after being dropped a distance away from the pack.
It took almost a forty-minute run for her to make it to her room all sweaty after the silver was finally out of her system and her wolf got bubbly again.
As soon as she got out of the shower, she went to the office, scribbled down a few things on a notepad, leaving it there for Alpha Denzel. She scribbled another note, about to send it to the cottage to give to Valerie when the door of the office barged open, and she was encased in Alpha Denzel’s warm embrace.
“Where did you go?” He asked after pulling away.
