Chapter 213: Chapter 213 – The Luna would be happy to see him.
“I’m so tired, Godic. I want to sleep,” Alessia said wearily. She was feeling sore as well, but in times like this, there was nothing her wolf could do for her.

This was a love sore that did not need healing. It was meant to preserve the memories. Being their first time, she expected Godic to be understanding, but he could not accept it.

Now, she felt it was good that they mated first.

“Marking would not take time. It’s just a few seconds, Ales, you can mark me first.”

There was so much pleasure embedded in his voice, showing that he would want to take her again.

However, they had each other now, and there was no rush in it. The most important thing was done anyway. Alessia was already drifting to sleep and spoke groggily.

“Let me mark you first.” She hoped that would be enough for him to let her have her rest.

Godic wasted no time, turning his neck to her but realized there was no action, so he pinched her a little on the arm. “Ouch!” Alessia jolted awake. His desirous voice sounded in her ears.

“I won’t allow you to enjoy your sleep if you don’t mark me.”

Alessia smiled weakly. It seemed she was the one being bullied now. At first, she was the one insisting on mating and being marked, but after mating, she just wanted to sleep.

“It’s not as if I’m running away.” Her eyes closed as she spoke, and Godic kissed her on the lips. To his surprise, she responded to it.

“I won’t be able to sleep if I don’t mark you.” Godic never recalled the first time he slept so early, but Alpha Denzel gave them the chance, so how could he not enjoy it?

“Don’t say that I didn’t warn you,” Alessia said and instantly sunk her canine into the sensitive part of his exposed neck. It was as painful as she wanted it to be. Her revenge for his disturbing her sweet sleep.

“Ouch, couldn’t you be a little gentle?” Godic grimaced slightly as the pain circulated through his body, soon replaced by a unique feeling of accomplishment.

Alessia regretted it a little and kissed the mark to soothe him. “It’s not that bad, don’t be a baby.”

Godic chuckled and kissed her exposed neck, sucking gently and caressing her naked body, which instantly turned him on and equally earned a moan from her.

As she was consumed by the pleasure, his canine gently sank into the delicate part of her exposed neck, she gasped from the pain mixed with pleasure, as Godic licked the little drops of blood from her neck.

When he got no response, he checked her out, but with her eyes closed and breathing stable, he knew she had fallen asleep and did the same. This was the happiest and most remarkable day of his life.

Downstairs, Alpha Denzel and Valerie prepared their meal and ate at the dining room. It was quiet with not even the sign of the maids.

Whenever Alpha Denzel was around, they made themselves scarce unless needed since he loved silence.

No other screams were heard, so Valerie was no longer disturbed, though she had no knowledge of what caused Alessia to scream like that.

Alpha Denzel, after his discussion with Godic earlier before chasing after Valerie, knew exactly what it was and remained nonchalant.

“I will do the dishes. Go to sleep,” Valerie said, still disturbed that he wasn’t getting enough rest. Alpha Denzel smiled at her and replied.

“I was told that I slept continuously for two days. That is a lot of time wasted, so I have to make up for it,” he said with delight.

Valerie was rather annoyed. “You needed it because you were injured.”

She was still doing the dishes as Alpha Denzel spoke behind her. “I am totally fine now, trust me, I am.”

“I’m still doing the dishes. You can get yourself busy however you want,” she said in annoyance, still feeling that he was overworking himself.

Alpha Denzel thought a little and asked her. “Did Godic give Conrad’s phone to you?”

“No,” Valerie shook her head and did not think much about it. Not wanting to disturb Godic’s moment, Alpha Denzel thought of another way to get the information he needed.

“Let’s go to the office when you are done. I will get my phone.”

When the two went to the office, Alpha Denzel dialed a number. It was immediately answered, and the recipient spoke with genuine excitement.

“Alpha Denzel, you are alive.”

Alpha Denzel’s expression darkened. He was suspicious. “Were you expecting me dead? Tell me what you know.”

At the end of the line, Clide did not hold back the information. “My Alpha, Commander, Alpha Eskimo, and Alpha Viggo planned an attack against you in Las Vegas, but I could not tell you everything then. If you are alive, then they should be working on plan B and C.”

Alpha Denzel seemed to have gotten the information faster than needed. “What are those plans, and where are those Alphas?”

“They haven’t returned, so I presume they are either still in Las Vegas or might go into hiding if aware that you are still alive. At the moment, they are working with two other people.”

It was not hard for Alpha Denzel to guess, and he asked. “Is Alpha Kendrick one of them?”

“Yes,” Clide’s honest response came through, and Alpha Denzel sighed.

“So, who is the other?” Alpha Denzel asked with interest, not able to guess.

“His name is Aticus. He isn’t an Alpha, but I heard Luna Valerie loves him greatly,” Clide replied. Alpha Denzel’s gaze met that of Valerie as he said on the phone.

“I will call you again later and prepare to take over your pack.”

No matter what, Alpha Denzel would find Alpha Commander and the rest. They were undeserving of his mercy since Valerie could have easily been injured by that bullet.

Right now, he was concerned about Aticus since he already had Alpha Kendrick close by. “Val, do you know anyone by the name…”

A mind link zapped through his mind, and the warrior at the gate reported, ‘Alpha, there is a man here by the name Aticus. He said the Luna would be happy to see him.’
