Alpha Denzel would have loved to return to Las Vegas to take down those thugs and the Alphas behind it all but could not risk Valerie’s wolf.

Valerie burst into laughter from the kitchen at Alpha Denzel’s words as Alessia hurled another pillow at him, before accusing Valerie.

“Luna, it’s fine. Please don’t say it,” Godic quickly cut Valerie off, not wanting his mate to be upset.

Suddenly, the ringing sound of Alpha Denzel’s phone saved Alessia some of the mockery, but Alpha Denzel’s expression turned grim after seeing the caller ID.

Valerie was concerned when she brought the packaged food to Alessia and Godic.

“Denzel, are you alright?” She asked with a worried expression.
