“So, you decided not to even say goodbye because you found your mate?” Godic’s mother was emotional. Both Godic and Alessia wrapped their arms around her.

Alessia spent a lot of time with her when Alpha Denzel was unconscious, but now they were leaving. This was not new, as a lot of people moved to other packs after finding their mates.

Some even joined the Evergreen pack when they found their mate there, but the human world was the only uncommon thing among all the arrangements.

“Mom, I honestly did not want to see you before leaving because I knew you would cry.” Godic was honest.

His mother’s continuous display of emotions made him embarrassed. He might be the only child, but his father was alive, so his mother did not lack companionship. Also, some cousins were living with her.

His mother stared at him with tear-filled eyes. “Is it wrong to cry? You are my son, and I miss you. Do you think that because you give us so much money, it can wipe away the times we miss having you with us?”

Godic was not liking this as he was not an emotional person. “Mom, I have my mate with me, so you will be seeing less of me. You have your mate with you, and I’m all grown up now,” he spelled out, his tone light with courtesy.

His mother wiped a tear from the corner of her eyes. “It’s true. You are grown up, but at least pay us a visit once in a while.” A pool of tears replaced what she just wiped.

Alessia smiled at her. “Please don’t worry, Mom, we shall visit for a week every three full moons.”

The middle-aged woman was pleased and hugged Alessia. “You are wise. I’m glad you are his mate. Please take good care of him and make sure to give me grandchildren soon. I will take good care of them, and you youngsters can focus on work.”

Alessia recalled that they had not used protection during their first mating and was slightly awkward. The middle-aged woman did not stop talking.

“Don’t worry. The moment you give me grandchildren, I would not care about him anymore,” she said, referring to Godic.

Alessia had a calm smile on her face as she comforted the woman. “Don’t worry, Mom, he would be the one to take care of me because I have no idea where we are going.”

As for the children, she did not know whether or not she was ready for them. The woman chuckled and hugged Alessia once more. As a beta, Alessia was down to earth, and being mated to her son, the woman could not keep calm.

As the conversation was ongoing, Alpha Denzel was accessing the chopper and frowned a little, “Is it new?”

Godic was slightly nervous and explained. “Yes. That was the only way to not be tracked.”

An impressive smile contoured Alpha Denzel’s lips as he said to Alessia, “You better be the one flying it when you come next time, but you won’t bring it to the pack.”

Alessia did not understand not bringing it to the pack but figured she might just ask Godic about it later.

She entered the chopper for the first time with Godic behind her. Admiration warmed her heart as she stared at everything in excitement.

“Val, you are right. I want to fly this. I’m going to learn a lot.”

Valerie was quite envious of Alessia, though happy she was ready to expand her knowledge scope. “Don’t tell me. I’m very jealous right now.”

Alpha Denzel sighed, wrapped his arms around her, and said, “Don’t worry. I would teach you so many things.”

A blush crept onto Valerie’s face. She believed his words, knowing they were true.

“I would remember that, but you still have not told me about the call,” she suddenly remembered, but the sound of the chopper gave Alpha Denzel the time to escape the question.

“We should be returning to the pack house and should be preparing for Beta Bodie’s coronation in two days.”

Valerie’s enthusiasm for coronations had long died. “I honestly do not wish to go. There won’t be anything new but a bunch of Alphas trying to pick on us.” She was tired of it, wishing to be away from it all.

“Don’t worry. We won’t stay long there, and we won’t sleep over either. We’ll leave before the break of dawn and arrive by midnight.”

Valerie’s eyes lit as she stared at him. “The moon will be full in a week.”

The eagerness in her eyes was addictive, and Alpha Denzel was greatly anxious too. Never has he been privy to see a female Alpha wolf, and the mirror image only showed the face.

He was eager to see the transformation and whatever powers it brought with it.

“Yes. I hope we could attend Ludwig’s coronation as well before then. Due to what happened at the peace council the last time, he would get his approval earlier than expected.”

“That is great,” Valerie said, leaning against his chest as he kissed her on the cheek.

At the Yellow Stone Pack, Scarlet and Tristan received the letter inviting them to the coronation. The content of the letter was not sitting well with Alpha Tristan.

He wanted to leave Scarlet, but things were complicated. Scarlet had lived her life in the packhouse and always addressed it as her home.

Alpha Tristan feared being the loser, as he would not be able to drive Scarlet out of it. Ever since her acceptance of Beta Ludwig, their relationship turned sour with no intimacy between them.

“What does he mean by discussing your future together?” Alpha Tristan asked seriously, hoping that Scarlet would join Ludwig at the Black Fur Pack. Then this pack would solely be his.

Scarlet had the understanding that Ludwig wanted to accept and make her his Luna and replied.

“Tristan, I think I would be relocating to the Black Fur Pack, so I would be leaving with my bags. Alpha Kenderick is no more, and my mate is going to be coronated.”

She did not expect the response she received, as it broke her heart into pieces.
