Somehow, she managed to buy the sympathy of the people in attendance since most of them did not know her true colors like a few people at the event.

She was surprised when Alpha Denzel called someone. “Raven, can you do us a favor and check on his condition?”

At a time like this, he could not use just any of the medical teams, fearing they might fall for whatever charm Orion had.

For someone gifted with the knowledge of herbs, it would not be easy for whatever charms Orion carried to work on her.

“Yes, Alpha,” Raven said from where she sat with Ray, but as soon as she stood up, Alpha Ludwig’s wolf roared internally,

“Alpha Einstein, everybody here has healing abilities. The stab would be like a shock to wake him, and he would heal on his own. If his healing delays, then this gifted lady would use her knowledge of herbs to heal him,” the Alpha King explained, adding.

“You all know that Alpha Denzel is not good at expressing himself. Isn’t it?” He asked Alpha Denzel, the latter was stunned.

“How did you know?”

A chuckle escaped Spartan. “It’s just simple logic, but I don’t know why they couldn’t piece them all together.

Alpha Denzel smiled, glad there was someone who understood him without his having to explain.

“Burke, go ahead,” Spartan encouraged, Burke reached for a dagger and lifted it. Before it came into contact with Orion’s skin, he rolled to the side.

Those upset with Alpha Denzel before felt ashamed for sympathizing with Orion. “You weren’t sick but pretended. You wanted precious time,” one of the pack warriors said, Alpha Denzel spoke rather calmly.

“Gerald, sit down. The ceremony must not be interrupted. We shall handle him after.”

The color drained from Luna Ahuma’s face, knowing she would not be accepted. Alpha Denzel was eager to complete the most important part of the ceremony, so what was an invisible person like Orion to him?

There was a time for everything, and this was not the time to deal with the likes of him. His finger dug into his wrist this time and not his palm, cutting through as a red liquid became visible.

Valerie grabbed his wrist and pressed her lips against it, not allowing a drop of his blood to touch the floor and also knowing that he was the kind who healed very fast.

The Alpha king made the declaration as soon as Alpha Denzel pulled away from the kiss. This was the second time he broke protocol.

“I hereby declare Valerie Lawn as Luna of the Evergreen pack in the presence of Alpha Denzel and Alpha in his absence. Her name is now officially Luna/Alpha, Valerie Denzel.”

The applause and sounds of cherish could crash one’s eardrum, as Alessia rushed to the stage to hug her.

“Congratulations, Val, I’m so happy to be here.”

“My sweet sister, congratulations,” Ashley joined and hugged her too, Adira, Alice, Raven, and most of the pack members, Lunas, and Alphas all came to congratulate her.

Valerie smiled so much that her jaws ached, and the waiters went around serving drinks and sweets.

Alpha Denzel was equally receiving congratulatory messages. The cold and aloof man equally found his happiness today, majority were happy to witness the occasion.

Alpha Lawn stood up, and as soon as she approached her daughter, everyone moved away.

Valerie threw herself in her father’s arms, as they hugged tightly. “You are such a good girl, and you made me so proud,” he said, all gazes focused on Scarlet.

Her heart sunk into her stomach like that of Alpha Tristan, but the two warriors who accompanied them were equally afraid.

When Alpha Lawn pulled away, he took the microphone from the Alpha King and began to speak.

“My second daughter Valerie has been coronated, and I can’t wait for the coronation of my first daughter, Ashley. It’s time for refreshment, but I just want to take a little of your time.

Alpha Denzel held Valerie’s hand and led her to their reserved chair so gently, as if she was a baby.

This was the time for him to relax and enjoy the show, but something strange began to happen.
