Chapter 351: Chapter 351 – Little Wolf
As Alpha Denzel, Alpha Lawn, Raven, and Alice stepped out, Godic was landing the chopper. He left and arrived so fast that Alpha Denzel was moved by his diligence.
“Take care of them. We shall be back,” he said to Godic when he entered the chopper, but Godic could not bear allowing them to leave alone.
Raven had picked up some herbs, and Alice picked up extra clothes. They had suffered hardship before and were aware of what to expect.
The caterers brought them enough food and water, and they were ready for the journey after ensuring that the tent had been closed again.
“Please let me accompany you. What if there is danger and we can’t land? Somebody has to be in the chopper.”
With the sense in Godic’s words, Alpha Denzel readily agreed. “Okay, let’s go.”
It was the first time the two ladies saw a chopper and were scared in the beginning, but due to the issue at hand, they held hands and hastened after Alpha Denzel.
Arriving at the witchcraft cave, everything looked deserted, but a well could be seen from a distance. It had iron grills on top of it and was locked with a big padlock.
Even if there was no padlock, it would have been impossible for anyone inside to climb out of it, as its walls were rather smooth.
Godic remained in the chopper, but Alpha Denzel, Alpha Lawn, and the two ladies drew close, and out of nowhere, a woman who looked exactly like Valerie and Ashley appeared in front of Alpha Lawn, hugging him tightly.
Not only Alpha Denzel, but Alice and Raven wondered how the woman could look so young when she was middle-aged.
There was no single gray hair among her long silky hair, and she did not look like someone who was suffering.
“Lawn, I knew you would come. It’s been so long, but thank you for coming,” she said in a sing-song voice. Alpha Denzel felt something odd.
Alpha Lawn exchanged glances with Alpha Denzel, and without a word, he pushed the woman violently and slapped her hard. The woman staggered backward, holding her burning cheek, which was as red as Alpha Lawn’s enraged eyes.
“Lawn, why are you doing this? I thought you came for me.” She sounded so offended, and Raven and Alice were confused.

The woman looked like Luna Valerie and her sister, Ashley, so they could not understand Alpha Lawn’s reason for being so ruthless.
“I came for Alma.” His voice was devoid of emotions, and there was no room for negotiation with his request.
Looking around awkwardly, the woman asked him, “Did you forget? I am Alma.”
Alpha Denzel had no idea how Alpha Lawn discerned that this woman was not his mate, though he suspected it.
He soon got his needed answer when Alpha Lawn spoke up. “If you were indeed Alma, then you would not have called me Lawn.”
It meant there was some kind of pet name he used for his Luna. The color drained from the woman’s face, met with the cold glare from Alpha Lawn as he asked again, “Where is Alma?”
“It’s been so long, Lawn, how could I remember?” She maintained her stand, and Alpha Lawn took a step forward, and she took several ones backward.
“If you are indeed who you say you are, then you would have known that there are just some things that can never be faked. What is the promise you made to me?”
Back then, Alma had insisted that he called her by her pet name and promised to never call him by his real name.
Tears fell from the woman’s eyes, but Alpha Lawn ignored her and rushed to the well to see an old woman at the bottom.
There were just a few strands of black hair in the mass of gray on her head. Her hands and fingers looked wrinkled, and so were her cheeks and forehead.
She lifted her head weakly when a sudden darkness blocked the light that was cast into the well.
The four people watching down saw the dark image shiver, but her eyes lit up with joy. “Big bad wolf, is that you?”
Alpha Lawn’s heart broke, and tears fell from his eyes. “My little wolf, it’s indeed you.”
His hands reached for the padlock, and he was clueless on how to unlock it. A growl was heard as the figure in the tunnel changed to that of the one outside of it.
The only difference was, Alma looked famished with bruises all over. Either her wolf died or was too weak to heal her anymore.
Her hair was dirty, and the well stank. A movement behind them cast another shadow, and turning around, a large python was headed their way.
“No,” Alice yelled, and her hands reddened. It was clear that she was in pain, but her eyes were fearless as the python advanced in her direction when she began to run away.
She had to move the python from the others so she doesn’t hurt them, and that required a great deal of power.
“Try to get her out. I have to help Alice,” Alpha Denzel said hastily.
Alpha Lawn nodded his head. “Please be careful.” The padlock was huge and ancient, and Alpha Lawn was having a hard time breaking it.
Alpha Denzel ran in the direction of the python as Raven did all she could to help Alpha Lawn break the padlock. Seeing no way out, Raven ran back to the chopper.
“Sir, can we get a hammer and a rope?” She asked Godic politely. The guy frowned, feeling like an old man.
“Call me Godic. I don’t have a hammer, but I can get you something heavy.” He first threw the rope at her before he picked up a huge plier from a toolbox and gave it to her.
Raven thanked him before she ran back to the well, but seeing what was going on with the python, her heart stilled.
