Chapter 358: Chapter 358 – How do you know it isn’t the moon goddess?
“Alpha Denzel, this is all a misunderstanding,” Orion began to beg.
His powers were ineffective over the couple, which meant there was something stronger keeping them together.
“Rope,” Alpha Denzel ordered as he marched towards Orion. His gaze was scary, and whoever stood close quickly gave way.
He was not going to waste any more of his guests’ precious time. The fury in his voice was a warning to Orion that he had gone too far.
“A misunderstanding is when you beat up and almost killed my sister-in-law?” Not even a kid would believe such a cock and bull story.
Alpha Denzel had endured it for so long; it was now time to release all the pain and bitterness he held in.
Ashley was touched that Alpha Denzel was avenging her, and Alpha Idris was very happy about it.
He had not forgotten and planned to remind Alpha Denzel, but this only proved that Alpha Denzel would never forget the people who stood by him.
A kick sent Orion to the floor. “Alpha, the rope.” Burke threw the rope to him.
Godic looked at Burke with a smile; this was what he used to do before, but now, his responsibilities in Vegas were greater.
Alpha Denzel caught the rope and with a swing, it wrapped around Orion’s neck. Pulling hard, Orion was smashed on the floor face down, his gums and nose already bleeding.
Luna Ahuma did not know how to help Orion, afraid that Alpha Denzel and the other Alphas’ anger would be directed towards her.
“Please, Alpha Denzel, she was never the target.”
Alpha Denzel was even more enraged, and pulling on the rope, it tightened around Orion’s neck, and those around quickly gave way.
“So, my Luna was the target. You almost killed Ashley and are now telling me it was what you wanted done to my Luna?”

Fuck! Orion, realized too late that he had made a mistake. Silence would have been better for him than trying to plead his case.
Most people who were only hearing now what he had done knew that the man on the floor had a death wish.
Alpha Denzel pulled the rope tighter, making Orion choke on it after being strangled.
Orion did not want to die, so with his last breath, he summoned the deceiving spirits, but they seemed afraid of Alpha Denzel, refusing to appear.
He was choking, and Denzel was only waiting for him to take his last breath when the rope suddenly tore, with Orion struggling for air on the floor.
“What is going on?” Alpha Denzel was confused, and so was Luna Valerie but she was not willing to let things be. Orion almost killed her sister and did not deserve to live.
“He’s using some kind of powers. Let me handle it.”
Her pupil formed the shame of a rain drop as she was about to use her powers when an image appeared.
“The moon goddess,” they murmured, everyone going on their knees, with the exception of Valerie and Denzel.
There was something fishy. “What do you want here?” Denzel asked, but the response caused him to suspect that it was not really the moon goddess but another impersonating spirit, though her back was turned, and no one could see her face.
“Aren’t you tired of the killing? How could you turn a beautiful day into one of bloodshed?” The feminine voice was calm but resonated power.
“Out of my pack,” Denzel yelled, his anger out of control, but his guests panicked.
“Alpha Denzel, do you not know the moon goddess? Do you want to die?” The Alpha King chastised him.
Every werewolf revered the moon goddess, but Alpha Denzel was not only disobeying. He was disrespecting her.
“Denzel, I brought your Luna a coronation gift,” the woman said, adding, “you can all relax.”
Everyone sat back in their chairs, but Valerie and Denzel remained standing with their hands joined together.
“We are not accepting it,” Denzel said, his gaze dark and glued to the man on the floor. No one, including the moon goddess herself, would be able to stop him from shedding that man’s blood.
Alpha Denzel would never forgive him.
“Denzel, don’t you want your Luna to give you an heir?” The woman asked, and the people in attendance broke into murmurs.
“How could we have forgotten? Alpha females do not have wombs and cannot give the pack a pup.”
The person spoke in a way that made it difficult to discern if she was speaking for or against Valerie.
Those who envied the Alpha wolf earlier suddenly felt more relaxed at the fact that Valerie would not be able to give the pack an heir.
Denzel’s enemies smiled. They might not be able to fight him themselves, but their children would. Only Denzel and Valerie’s DNAs would be able to form a pup as strong as them.
“I said leave,” Alpha Denzel growled, his anger burning. Spirit or not, it did not mean he would not try to kill it off, especially when it was on the verge of ruining his day. “It doesn’t concern you, you deceiving spirit.”
Everyone saw the panic in the woman’s eyes and began to understand Alpha Denzel and Luna Valerie’s reasons for not bowing to her, but before anyone could ask, Denzel disentangled his had from Valerie, his claws elongated, and he hastened to the man on the floor.
His claws dug into the back of Orion as he lifted him up, his claws digging deeper with blood dripping on the floor. Orion was screaming from excruciating pain, and the woman who claimed to be the moon goddess was covered in fear.
“If you came to save him because you gave him your powers, it won’t work. No one touches my family and lives to tell the story.”
Alpha Denzel was so furious, his expression turned ugly, but everyone was amazed by his great sense of discernment.
“How do you know it isn’t the moon goddess?” Alpha King Spartan asked in shock, staring at Alpha Denzel like some kind of a god.
