Chapter 363: Chapter 363 – She’s so disciplined
After some consideration, Alpha Lawn decided to be honest with her, especially since Scarlet was already in the dungeon.

“Yes, she is here, but there is much you need to know, so take this and get better first,” he continued to feed her the congee until she could not take in any more.

Looking at how her skin texture had improved from how wrinkled it was the first time, even after she changed to her real form, she was still not as good-looking as this.

Alpha Lawn was certain that just like himself, his mate would also be restored to health.

“I was starved for months, and I don’t know how I survived. I just can’t eat as much as before,” Luna Alma complained bitterly, lacking an appetite for the food she desired so much. Alpha Lawn was pained, but the culprits were either dead or in the dungeon.

There was no need to worry now. “I want to shower,” Alma said with excitement. She couldn’t remember the last time she had one and felt so dirty, even though she had been cleaned.

It was also a relief to have a roof over her head. All this time, she thought she was at the Yellow Stone Pack, and the room decors had just been changed over the years.

“Please drink the herbs since you had some congee,” Raven suggested politely, interrupting their conversation. Gaining their attention, she added, “After that, you can shower before I apply the herbs.”

Alpha Lawn took the concoction from Raven and fed it to Luna Alma. The frown on her face showed the liquid had come into contact with her mouth, but she was able to drink it all because she had tasted worse things in the bid to survive.

“Big bad wolf, I haven’t showered in a decade. I should really be stinking. That old hag used my beauty so much. She would sleep with young men to gain more powers.”

Luna Alma’s voice had been patchy yesterday, but today it sounded better. Her wolf being awake was Raven’s mission, which she accomplished.

This meant that within a few days, the middle-aged woman would be fine. “When you are better, we shall all be ready to hear the story,” Alpha Lawn comforted her, but her only insistence was on having a warm shower after almost two decades, which seemed to her like a few months, as she had lost hope and stopped counting.

“Okay. Come help me shower.” Alpha Lawn carried her to the luxury bathtub. Raven was relieved. She wrote the instructions on how the herbs must be applied and left before Lawn and Alma returned.

“Where is the girl? She’s so disciplined,” Alma observed. She saw Raven as very young and was not expecting such a level of smartness from her.

“She must be waiting with the rest, and she took care of me too when I was sick,” Alpha Lawn said, giving the details, but Luna Alma was curious and asked him.

“Tell me, did you ever get married?” She felt better after having the shower and was glad when the sheets were also changed.

Now she felt like herself and loved the scent of the fragrance of the shampoo.

“Didn’t I tell you? You are the only one for me, Alma,” Alpha Lawn said seriously. Alma smiled profoundly.

“Bad wolf, I don’t like the scent of the herbs. I need fresh air. Can we sit under the moonlight and talk like we used to?” She recalled and asked. After taking the morning concoctions, her memories were fast piecing together.

Alpha Lawn thought it was a good idea and a good place for them to hear her story. He also guessed that Denzel or Valerie would not refuse. “Yes. I will make the arrangement.”

Alpha Lawn went out after applying the herbs for Alma and spoke excitedly. “Alma was to see everybody under the moonlight.”

The expressions on the faces from hearing the news were priceless, as Valerie anticipated. “That should be in a few hours. We shall make some snacks and drinks to carry along.”

She remembered the homemade drinks her mom used to make and decided to make some.

By the time Alpha Lawn returned to the room after applying the herbs, Alma was fast asleep.

When Alma woke up, her skin tone had changed a little, which was also a great improvement, but due to wanting to see the moonlight, the next application of the herbs was delayed.

Valerie took charge of arranging chairs around the firewood Denzel arranged to keep them warm. After everyone sat around the fire, Alpha Lawn and Alma walked in, arm in arm.

It brought back so many memories to Ashley and Valerie about how their parents loved each other so much, always appearing at pack functions together.

Valerie’s eyes were teary as she ambled to them with Ashley. “Mom.”

She hugged her mother in a big hug with Ashley.

Alma only had memories of the five, two going on three, and the baby she left behind. Now, they were old, but as soon as their bodies collided, their familiar scent caused her to shed tears.

“Mom, I stopped stealing sweets,” Ashley confessed. Alma stroked her hair gently, their tears streaming down their look-alike faces.

The three women shed tears in each other’s arms as Alma asked again, “where is Scarlet?”

Alpha Lawn told her that Scarlet was there, so why wasn’t she in the family gathering to welcome her?

Valerie and Ashley pulled away, Ashley went to sit beside Idris and Valerie, Denzel.

Alessia and Godic were happy this was happening today, as they had to return to Vegas tomorrow.

Denzel wanted to introduce Alessia to Alma, since she would be living in Vegas for long.

Tonight, Alessia and Godic planned to let out their wolves for the rest of the night but Alma’s question got everyone saddened, not knowing how to reveal it to her, but it had to start from somewhere.

“Alma, do you remember your stepsister, Eileen?” Alpha Lawn asked nervously. It was time to reveal everything and punish the people in the dungeon.
