Chapter 409: Chapter 409 – Alpha, Luna Valerie fainted during training
The omegas were busy working on the farmlands and at the moment, Alpha Denzel wanted to give the pack support in the area of farming equipment.

There were no supervisors like they were in the other packs. As to how Ludwig managed to excite them to do the job wholeheartedly, it was just a sign of his leadership qualities on exposure.

Unlike the human world, the packs did not have much equipment so Alpha Denzel had always shipped from the human world to the packs.

The farmers were murmuring at the sight of Alpha Denzel but what amazed him even more was the man who seemed to be doing some supervisions himself.

Due to how he blended with the farmers, it took time for Alpha Denzel to make him out.

He wore a hat due to the hot summer sun and due to the murmurs, he turned around and his heart stopped at the sight of Alpha Denzel and Raven.

Raven especially, looked so tough, even with her innocent face unwavering. It was clear that the girl had been taking her training seriously, for which reason Ludwig was impressed about how she was going to be an asset to her new pack.

“Alpha Denzel,” Ludwig paused and smiled at the woman by Alpha Denzel’s side. Raven,” Alpha Ludwig removed his gloves before shaking hands with Alpha Denzel and Raven.

Denzel must not have told him about this visit but Alpha Ludwig expected it. He had come to know Alpha Denzel well enough to understand how unpredictable he could be.

That unpredictability put him on his toes to work harder, with or without Alpha Denzel’s presence.

“Alpha Ludwig, I decided to pay you a surprise visit and I hope you don’t mind,” Alpha Denzel said, Alpha Ludwig shook his head.

“No, I don’t mind. It’s just that everything around are work in progress and there is still a lot to do per the plans we have developed for the pack. My beta, Liam is taking care of training today because I wanted to be here myself.”

Alpha Denzel was glad that Ludwig also learned to use his workforce, especially his beta, so he wouldn’t burden himself with each and everything.

“This is a very large farmland.”

“Yeah, it’s such a shame it was wasted before but you really opened my eyes to all these. My business in Vegas is also picking up so hopefully, we will be one of the richest packs in the next three years.”

Raven listened to the conversation keenly but could not immediately guess that all the changes this pack was undergoing were because of her.

“I’m glad things are going well but what about the rogues?” Alpha Denzel asked. Mostly, wars were the greatest tools to destroy a man’s handiwork.

Alpha Ludwig sighed and responded.

“There haven’t been any attacks for a few months which has helped tremendously but one of the warriors suggested that we set secret traps around the bothers. That would slow down any attacker and give us an advantage over them.”

Raven could not help but notice how Alpha Ludwig spoke with novelty and also realized that Alpha Denzel was honest in everything he said to Alpha Ludwig.

Where there was a need for adjustment, Alpha Denzel said so directly and where there was a need for a compliment, he did it so warmly.

“Everything I’ve seen so far is impressive but what are your plans for that area?” Alpha Denzel pointed at about a five acre of land a distance away and Raven already imagined planting some moon grasses there but this wasn’t her pack.

“Well, it was initially for beautification but after some deliberations with the team, we decided on using it for a kids playground and we can also have a park for more kids activities,” Alpha Ludwig revealed, Denzel’s eyes widened.

It was just a week that he sent Alpha Ludwig to Godic in Vegas and he already came out with something so brilliant.

None of the packs had playgrounds or children’s parks but Alpha Ludwig explained it further.

“After trainings and school, I don’t think their childhood should be taken from them. This should be a reminder for them to not be ashamed of being kids.”

Raven equally loved the idea, as her childhood had also been taken from her because of where she lived growing up.

Throughout his Alpha Denzel’s chat with Alpha Ludwig, it as if he was talking to a stranger. Due to the nature of werewolves, Alpha Denzel never thought about bringing kids playing grounds to the packs.

However, Alpha Ludwig’s explanation made a lot of sense. From the ages of nine and below, none of the kids would have gotten their wolves and were more like normal human kids, except that they began their training early.

As such, a werewolf even at the age of three, would be far stronger than a human around that age before they got their wolves.

“In my honest opinion, Ludwig, this is impressive. Keep it up and can I see your packhouse?” Alpha Denzel asked. that was the last place he was going to visit before returning to the Evergreen pack.

Alpha Ludwig was grateful for the compliment but stiffened at the request, especially when Raven was there.

“Its under renovation so my beta and I moved to one of the guest houses. I can still show it to you if you insist on seeing it.”

Weighing his options, Alpha Denzel decided to see it, just in case he had any contributions to make to its betterment.

“Alright, let’s go,” Alpha Denzel said, the three of them began to walk towards the pack house but Raven seemed to gain so much attention.

Just as they reached the pack house and before Alpha Denzel could offer any contribution, his phone rang and seeing the caller, it was Dorothy so he answered it.

“Alpha, Luna Valerie fainted during training.”
