Chapter 410: Chapter 410 – Someone, Call Alpha Denzel
After Alpha Denzel left the pack, Valerie dragged her tired self out of bed to the training room.

Strangely, she felt light-headed and all she wanted to do was go for another round of sleep, but it was unlike her to sleep when she had training to lead.

“Luna, are you okay? You look pale,” Alice said, worried as she and Dorothy had been instructed to watch Valerie closely.

Even if she had not been told, Valerie’s demeanor spoke volumes about her mood.

Dorothy sensed something was wrong through Alice’s question and the way their Luna was indeed pale. It was as if her Alpha wolf had left her alone.

“Luna, Alice is right. Please let me take you back,” she politely suggested, but Luna Valerie was slowly getting upset.

Valerie was never weak, and the way they kept patronizing her was not going down well with her. Her emotions were spiraling out of control by the way Alice and Dorothy were making her feel like she had grown weak so suddenly.

The two ladies were too young in that aspect, not knowing how to handle such cases but were also the closest to Valerie.

“I said I’m fine. Take your positions,” Valerie said in annoyance, turning to Burke as she instructed.

“Burke, make sure you take care of Denzel’s group from yesterday. I will take care of the she-wolves.”

“Yes, Luna,” Burke replied with a worried expression, also discerning that their Luna was not herself.

She was not one who easily got upset but seemed irritable today. ‘Could she be missing her Alpha? No way. It wasn’t the first time Alpha Denzel left her in charge,’ Burke thought to himself.

When training began, all their doubts disappeared into thin air by the way Valerie led the team. At the moment, they had to agree that she was indeed fine.

Her training on defense was exquisite, so they soon forgot about how pale she was looking and continued with the training nonetheless.

Midway through training, Alice was the first to notice that their Luna had lost consciousness because she never took her eyes off her.

This was the first time Alpha Denzel specifically entrusted them to give their Luna extra attention, meaning there was indeed something wrong.

“Luna, can you hear me, please?” Alice asked in a teary voice and tried to use her powers to bring her back into consciousness, but strangely, her powers would not work on Valerie this time.

Her hand was behind Luna Valerie’s neck as she tried to revive her. When none of her actions seemed to work, she began to panic, as the she-wolves helplessly surrounded their Luna.

Worried, Alice screamed, “Someone, call Alpha Denzel.”

Her shriek caused everyone to direct their attention in their direction. Burke and Dorothy quickly ran to their side.

Dorothy quickly pulled out her phone and dialed Alpha Denzel’s number.

“Alpha, Luna Valerie fainted during training.”

The color drained from Alpha Denzel’s face, and he internally cursed himself for making this journey when he began suspecting this a few days ago.

Valerie always felt okay, going about her duties passionately, so he felt it was going to be like those days. Never did he imagine things getting out of hand.

Also, knowing that she might not be able to use her powers or her wolf when pregnant, he was determined to be by her side through it all, for which reason he wanted to make this trip now.

Subsequently, it would be easier for him to believe the reports Alpha Ludwig sent to him and would not have to make this trip again.

“Is Alice there?” Alpha Denzel asked. Dorothy gave the phone to Alice before saying, “She’s here.”

Alice spoke as soon as Dorothy gave her the phone in a panicked voice. “Alpha, she’s not responding to my powers. I think she needs hospitalization.”

Alpha Denzel was cursing himself internally. He should have made this trip earlier, especially when the prophecy had specified four months’ time.

“Tell Burke to get her to the hospital. I’m on my way.” After ending the call, he turned to Alpha Ludwig.

“I have to go in wolf form. Be good. My car is parked at the gate. Bring her for me.” He was indirectly telling Ludwig not to try anything stupid while Raven had still not come of age, knowing how crazy the mate bond could drive anyone.

He was about to shift when Raven stopped him. “Alpha, please, I can make some herbs for her speedy recovery.”

Ludwig was stunned at the revelation. So, his mate had the gift of herbs? No wonder Alpha Denzel was protective of her. For a moment, he felt like he had just gotten Alice back.

Having the gift of herbs meant that his pack would be among those swimming in good health.

“Alpha Ludwig, kindly get someone to drive the car to my pack. Here are the keys.” He hastily gave his car keys to Alpha Ludwig, saying to Raven, “And Raven, I will shift and carry you on my back.”

Without waiting for a moment, Alpha Denzel shifted, his clothes shredding with it, before he lowered himself and Raven fearfully climbed onto his back.

His charcoal black fur was menacingly scary, but she knew he would not hurt her.

When Alpha Denzel dashed into the woods with Raven on his back, Alpha Ludwig felt lonely. But recalling the fact that Raven would soon turn eighteen in a few months, his longing heart finally felt at peace.

After instructing one of the warriors to send Alpha Denzel’s car, though he strongly wanted to do it himself, he returned to what he was doing before.

Due to the strength of the mate bond, it was better for him to stay away from the Evergreen pack until Raven turned eighteen in a few months’ time.

At the Evergreen pack, Alpha Denzel arrived, mind linking Burke. ‘Where is Luna Valerie?’

‘In your room, Alpha,’ Burke responded from the training room. He had to take charge of all the training sessions.

Raven had hastened ahead after asking the whereabouts of Luna Valerie before Alpha Denzel shifted and wore emergency clothes. But when he arrived, he froze at the door.
