Chapter 418: Chapter 418 – Alpha, She’s Going to Die
Alpha Denzel’s first plan failed, but he was not going to give up. This was the first time something like that had happened, but they still had time because the underground rogues seemed to find it hard to find a way around the warriors.

They could not eat them, which meant they were hungry, and the safety of the warriors meant Alpha Denzel had a little time to think before the rogues decided to kill the warriors they could not eat.

His heart sunk when he witnessed one of the warriors stubbornly fighting one of the rogues and ended up being swallowed but was soon vomited out.

It was either the mindlink had broken off and he did not hear the instruction, or he was in a position that made it impossible for him to leave so fast.

Luckily, he fell right beside Raven and received a healing herb stuffed into his mouth. “Try sipping the juices if you can hear me,” Raven screamed in his ears, and as soon as he obeyed, he was brought back to a state of consciousness.

The underground rogues had already crossed the slimy traps and were getting back to their feet, so Alpha Denzel settled on using his last resort before it was too late.

He could not endanger the lives of more warriors when there was a way around it. He mindlinked Alice, who had been on guard and itching the whole time to try using her powers.

‘Alice, use your powers.’

A relief sigh escaped her when she began to use her powers. Everyone watched in amazement when fire from nowhere began to burn the rogues, their painful growls gave the pack warriors joy as they tried to run back to their underworld.

However, due to the slimy traps, they stumbled, falling over each other, as the fire mercilessly burned them.

Alpha Denzel was thinking of the next move because the rogues were taking too long to die.

If they were able to escape alive, then there would be the probability of them returning again, especially when they have not been able to feed.

The moment he turned to see for how long Alice could hold on, Burke was already screaming.

“Alpha, she’s going to die.”

Alpha Denzel jumped and pinned Alice on the ground, trying to stop her from losing her powers any longer, but as usual, she was already in a trance.

“Alice please, you have to stop,” he roared, but the petite woman on the floor could not hear anything.

Everyone was now worried as the attention was taken away from the rogues to Alice.

“Raven, can you quench her heat?” Alpha Denzel asked worriedly, but for the first time, Raven did not have a solution and was feeling helpless and pathetic.

“I don’t have a herb for it right now. It will take time, and we might lose her.”

Alpha Denzel could not give up on Alice. If he decided to use her, then he had a plan on how to save her in case things went south.

“Burke, you have to do something,” Alpha Denzel said, a tear dropped from Burke’s eyes when Alpha Denzel got off Alice but carried her from the floor.

Burke was his mate, and though it was still remaining with a few days for Alice to get her wolf and know this, Alpha Denzel could only depend on the mate bond, hoping that Burke would be able to do something.

Burke was afraid and saddened when he said, “Alpha, I can only knock her out, but that would mean her powers would no longer work.”

He stared at the rogues whose growls were shaking the pack.

“Do it,” Alpha Denzel instructed.

Raven’s life was more important than winning this battle. Then he remembered Valerie and looked up, but she wasn’t there.

Burke was about to knock out Alice, but someone held his hand firmly, and when Alpha Denzel saw it, his heart sank into his stomach.
