Chapter 434: Chapter 434 – I Don’t Want to Be Some Luna
Raven followed Alpha Denzel quietly as he led her into the woods to have her first shift. It was clear that there was so much on his mind, and Raven could not guess if it was because of her or anything else.

Ray had also gone to test his first shift with Burke, and Raven wondered why Alpha Denzel did not pair her with her twin brother.

If only she knew how much he wanted to make a last memory with her. He and Valerie had sleepless nights, not just because of Denver this time but rather…

Raven smiled. She believed and trusted her Alpha but was saddened that he had not addressed her desire to have Gandolf as her mate, so she could remain at the Evergreen pack.

“Okay, Alpha. I believe you,” she said. Denzel knew he was going to miss her. She was so pure and honest, full of love and care. The pack had their trust in her ability to heal with herbs, and she was always the first point of call before the pack doctor.

Denzel had not gotten over his grief but was wondering how he was going to break the news to the pack members when the need arose. He was also certain that Alpha Ludwig would be here soon, though he hadn’t called.

They had reached the best part of the woods where it was safe to shift, so Alpha Denzel urged her on.

“I have emergency clothes here so you can go ahead and shift. Imagine having your wolf and try to speak with her through mindlink like you do with me or any of the pack members,” Alpha Denzel explained after having done this with Alice.

“Yes, Alpha,” Raven smiled and instantly tried to communicate with her wolf, who was supposed to be awakened by now.

However, she rather began to feel immense pain all over her body. It was a pain she could not explain, but her body was suddenly covered with white fur, a tail developing at her backside.

A growl tore from her throat, accompanied by the ripping of her clothes, as her claws elongated, accompanied by hind feet. A gigantic wolf stood in front of Alpha Denzel, and sadness increased.

“A Luna wolf?”

He could not believe it. How did Ludwig get so lucky? Then again, the moon goddess must have been repaying him for his loss of Alice.

Also, Ludwig had really changed within the time span Denzel gave him and was well deserving of Raven.

‘Raven, I am Luna Twilight, your wolf.’

‘If you are my wolf, then why call yourself Luna? Do you want to be banished? There is just one Luna in this pack.’

Raven was afraid of getting herself into trouble, but her wolf explained it to her. ‘What I mean is, I am a Luna wolf. Meaning, you are destined to be a Luna.’

Raven was afraid. It was impossible for her to be a Luna at the Evergreen pack, and she was not willing to leave.

‘I don’t want to be some fucking Luna.’

‘Raven, you can shift now. I left the emergency clothes so call me when you are done changing,’ Alpha Denzel’s mindlink interrupted the discussion between her and her wolf.

‘We shall talk about this later, but don’t let my Alpha know about it,’ she warned seriously, thinking of how to hide her wolf, but her wolf chuckled.

‘He knows already, but you have to shift. This is your first time.’

Raven shifted, feeling sad, as she put on her clothes. She’d rather be a regular pack member and remain in the Evergreen pack than some Luna and relocate to another pack.

“Alpha,” she called out, but when Alpha Denzel turned around, his eyes rolled to the back, meaning he was mind-linking someone.

It was Burke. ‘Alpha, it’s about Ray. You have to see this,’ Burke mind-linked in an urgent tone.
