Alpha Denzel went to freshen up at the packhouse. Valerie had just finished supervising the setup and had returned to change as well.

She had already finished with Denver, who looked ravishing in his cute tuxedo. “How is it that he looks cuter than me?” Alpha Denzel said playfully when he came out of the shower, kissing Denver on the lips.

“I heard that our mini selves should always be a better version of their original,” Valerie shrugged. “I would have called you a failure if our pup was less good-looking than the father.”

Denver smiled, but the next moment, Denzel’s hair strands were wrapped around his little fingers.

“Ouch, why are you being so mean?” Denzel screeched, and Valerie laughed. “That’s because you left before he woke up.”

Denzel managed to free himself and lifted Denver in his arms. Only a towel was wrapped around his waist, so Valerie took a quick picture of them.

“You two look amazing. Now I’m going to shower.”

Denzel chuckled and kissed Denver on the forehead this time as Valerie went into the shower room.

“You know what buddy, you will soon begin to understand the responsibilities in this pack and around the world. Then you won’t be upset when I’m not with you.”

Denver smiled, and Denzel placed him in a sitting position while he dressed up.

“So how did it go?” Valerie asked from the shower room, and Denzel responded. “Ray has an Alpha wolf, and Raven has a Luna wolf.” He was amazed by Valerie’s excitement.

“I always knew they were special, and now we shall have two more packs we can trust.”

“You are right about that, but they both did not seem happy.”

There was a few seconds of silence, which went unnoticed because Denzel was dressing up, and Denver seemed fine by himself.

“That’s understandable, but it only means we did our job in giving them happiness. With time, they will adjust to their new packs but will always be welcome here.”

Denzel loved her analysis and did not say anything more. By the time he was done, Valerie was out of the shower, and a mindlink came through.

“Alpha, Alpha Ludwig is here.”

Alpha Denzel did not hesitate in his response. ‘Let him in.’

“I will go meet Ludwig,” he said as he kissed Denver once more on the forehead and Valerie on the lips.

Dressed in a black shirt and pants, he carried that intimidating aura with him once again, but Valerie’s attraction towards him only increased.

“I love you, Denzel.”

Alpha Denzel froze at the door and turned around. “Careful Love, Denver is here.” If not, he would have gone at least a round before leaving her.

Valerie giggled as he added. “You know I love you more.”

Denzel went downstairs to see that not only Alpha Ludwig but also Raven and Ray’s parents, Gerald and Calister, had arrived.

“Alpha Denzel, thank you for inviting us,” Beta Gerald said politely. Alpha Denzel shook his head.

“Beta Gerald, don’t be so courteous. They are your children, so you have every right to be here. Welcome.”

“Thank you,” both Gerald and Calister said as Calister asked, “Where is Luna Valerie and Gerald?”

“They will be down soon,” he said, just as Burke was descending the stairs, having also freshened up.

“I’m happy to inform you that your children have Alpha and Luna wolves. As such, they would find their happiness elsewhere.” The couple did not seem excited about their children leaving the Evergreen Pack, but Alpha Denzel continued.

“Burke would take you to the arena. I need to have a word with Alpha Ludwig.”

As soon as the couple left with Burke, Alpha Ludwig spoke up. “Alpha Denzel, thank you for everything.”

He was dressed in a black tuxedo with a huge bouquet in hand. “Well, your mate had her first shift today, and lucky for you, she had a Luna wolf. Since she’s leaving with you, we would have to help with her wolf training, but aside from that, all her other skills are perfect.”

Alpha Ludwig was stunned. He thought Alpha Denzel would make it difficult for him, but that did not seem to be the case.

“Thank you so much, Alpha Denzel. I promise to bring her to visit as often as she desires.”

Alpha Denzel was not concerned about that. His focus was rather on something else.

“You can’t relax because you have Raven. You have to maintain the standard your pack has reached now,” he said seriously. Alpha Ludwig smiled and revealed.

“Alpha Denzel, I won’t even dream of lowering the standard of my pack. A few Alphas visited recently, wanting me to partner with them, but I refused.”

“Why is that?” Alpha Denzel asked, surprised that Ludwig rejected such an opportunity, but his response stunned him.

“Well, I was rather looking at partnering with you if it isn’t too much. I mean, my warriors are very capable, and our businesses are successful. Our network recently rose into the billions, and it’s all thanks to you.”

Alpha Denzel smiled. With Raven there, he had to accept it, even if he did not want to. “We shall talk about it later. Raven must not arrive before you.”

Alpha Ludwig smiled at the mention of Raven, and Valerie was also descending the stairs with Denver.

Alpha Denzel went to take Denver from her before admiring her beauty. Seventy percent of her pregnancy fat was already lost, but with or without it, she was always a stunning woman.

“You look beautiful, my love.” Denzel kissed her on the lips, and Alpha Ludwig looked away shyly, already headed to the door.

Arriving at the arena, Alpha Ludwig was amazed that Alpha Denzel put up something so amazing for a mere pack member.

To Alpha Denzel, this was a send-off party, so it had to be bigger than all the birthday parties ever held in the pack.

The pack members kept wondering the reason for Alpha Ludwig’s presence, but it wasn’t long before the understanding hit home.

Alice appeared at the entrance before paving the way for Ray and Raven, but everyone was shocked when Raven’s wolf thundered, “mate.”

Shock registered in her eyes as she was filled with mixed emotions when Alpha Ludwig responded with tear-filled eyes. “Mine.”
