Raven searched her heart, finding no reason to hate Alpha Ludwig. Her wolf might just kill her if she dared to reject him.

Well, she couldn’t see that as a bright future since their wolves were just horny and fierce creatures when it came to love and war.

The only person she could trust to know Alpha Ludwig’s character was Alpha Denzel. Therefore, she was honest with him.

“I love him, but I don’t want to leave. Can’t I have both?”

Alpha Denzel smiled, feeling relieved as he advised her. “No, Raven, life is all about sacrifice. Ludwig made his, and now you have to make yours.”

Raven sighed, feeling better after having this conversation with her Alpha. “Okay, but before we return to the party, can I ask for a favor?”

Alpha Denzel had a rule concerning promises, and from that perspective, no one was exempted from it. “I can’t make any promises without consulting my Luna.”

Raven smiled, hoping that one day her love for Alpha Ludwig would grow to the level of Alpha Denzel and Luna Valerie.

“I know, but will Luna Valerie permit you to go with me?” She asked with pleading eyes. Alpha Denzel already had an answer to that but did not reveal it immediately.

“I would ask her, but if everything is okay there, you have to promise that you won’t be sad anymore,” he said seriously. Raven smiled and replied wholeheartedly.

“I promise.”

“Alright. Now let’s go see your mate,” Alpha Denzel beckoned her in the direction of the arena.

So much had been done for her, and she almost ruined it. Still, something weighed heavily on her heart as she asked.

“And if I accept him, will you attend my coronation?”

Knowing that even Valerie would not want to miss that occasion, Alpha Denzel responded without a second thought. “I won’t miss it for anything.”

Raven beamed. “Thank you, Alpha Denzel, I will never forget all you have taught me and the kindness you’ve shown me.”

“That is enough for me,” Alpha Denzel replied as they walked back to the party. Raven’s presence had him missing Alessia so much.

When they returned to the arena, Raven’s eyes were puffy, but a smile lingered on her face as she walked to Ludwig and accepted the bouquet he presented to her with a heartfelt apology.

“I’m sorry. I was just too shocked.”

Alpha Ludwig glanced at Alpha Denzel, amazed by how fast things had changed. He was thinking of giving her as much time as she wanted to accept the bond, but it seemed that the surprise he had for her would not be ruined after all.

“I promise you, Raven, that if we go to my pack and you don’t like it there, you can return here or even reject me.”

She was his mate, but that did not mean he was going to force her into accepting him. He loved her enough to let her go if she was not comfortable in his pack.

“You promise?” Raven could not believe it, but Alpha Ludwig nodded and replied.

“With all my heart.”

The party took off from there, and Alpha Ludwig presented a gift to Ray as well. Then a proper introduction was made between him and Raven’s parents.

He exchanged a few words with Alice, and the atmosphere returned to its joyous state with a lot of dancing, drinking, eating, and anything entertaining.

When the party was over, Alpha Denzel was having a discussion with Valerie when Raven returned from packing her stuff with the help of her brother.

She also changed from the princess gown Alpha Denzel and Luna Valerie sent to her but still took it along.

She loved everything she got from the Evergreen Pack and could not let go of any of them.

Coming to this pack with nothing, she was leaving with so many things. Her parents were so happy for her, and she hugged Alice, her brother, parents, before kissing Denver on the forehead.

“I’ll miss you so much, my little man,” there were tears in Raven’s eyes when Denver’s tiny fingers wrapped around her forefinger.

The two got along quite well, and even as a baby, it was clear that Denver got the message.

He was smiling brightly at her, making her smile through tears. “I love you so much,” she whispered and kissed him on the cheek before hugging Luna Valerie.

“I will always love you, Luna Valerie. You’ve been everything to me.”

Valerie wiped her tears with her thumb, even as she held Denver in one arm. “I will never stop loving you, Raven, and you shall always be welcome here. If you face any challenge, remember that you have the Evergreen Pack behind you.”

Raven was smiling, but the tears refused to stop. Her heart was in the Evergreen Pack, but she was destined to be somewhere else. “Thank you.”

Raven was staring at her Alpha Denzel, hoping he would keep his promise to go with her. “Alpha…” She was about to ask when Alpha Denzel’s voice cut in.

“We are running late. Let’s go,” he said. Raven beamed excitedly. “Thank you.”

He had already discussed with Valerie, and she already had it in mind to let him go with her. Being Raven’s first time, she needed her pack’s support, but Alpha Denzel also had to ensure that everything was done as Alpha Ludwig proposed.

Raven felt safe with Alpha Denzel there. If she did not like the Black Fur Pack, it would be easier for her to return. When her things were being loaded into the car, Ludwig was forced to speak.

“You don’t need all that. I already bought everything you need.” He wanted her to feel at home as much as possible, getting everything she needed in place for her, but Raven had something very important to tell him.

With a smile, she let it out. “Thank you, but these are memories,” she said. Ludwig smiled in understanding. “I understand.”

There was more to it than he thought. Arriving at the Black Fur Pack, it was not just Raven, but even Alpha Denzel was shocked. “Ludwig, are we lost?”
