Chapter 449: Chapter 449 – Obsessed with Making It Better
A growl escaped Alpha Denzel at the news that someone had dared to attack his Luna and pup. No wonder he felt uncomfortable when he couldn’t reach them.

However, he felt no pain or anxiety, knowing that Valerie was in charge of the situation. But he still couldn’t accept being away from them at a time like this.

For him, trouble should find him, not his family and pack. “Where are you? I’m coming over,” he said, but the warrior quickly spoke up.

“I don’t think that will be necessary. Our Luna already took care of everything.” There was calmness in his voice that equally relaxed Alpha Denzel.

“You mean nobody is hurt?”

“No, Alpha. She warned that no one comes out and took down the ten rogues all by herself.”

There was no surprise in his voice, as he had witnessed his Luna taking care of more dangerous situations before.

The only surprise was that they were sent to protect the Luna and everyone, but the Luna was the one protecting them all.

It was better for them to stay in the car for her to handle the rogues than for them to fight together and risk hearing that Denver was missing or something like that.

Alpha was about to say that the warrior should tell Valerie to call him when the call waiting sound of his phone began to beep. Seeing Valerie, he ended the call with his warrior and answered hers.

“Val, are you alright?”

“Yes, just a couple of rogues, but I took care of it. Everything is fine, and we are heading to the Black Fur Pack,” she updated him. Alpha Denzel was glad.

“Okay. Let me know when you arrive, but if I don’t hear from you after an hour, then I’m coming over.”

Due to the time they left the Evergreen Pack, they should have arrived at the Black Fur Pack within Alpha Denzel’s estimated time.

“You don’t have to. You shall most certainly hear from me,” Valerie said seriously. It felt good to have someone care for them.

She arrived at the Black Fur Pack and was let in without informing the Alpha, and Raven’s excitement tripled at the sight of her.

“Luna!” She yelled and threw herself into Valerie’s arms. She was expecting Raven but not Luna Valerie herself.

“Raven, you look delightful and regal. The Moon Goddess does not make mistakes,” Valerie exclaimed. Raven smiled shyly, feeling flattered.

“Yes, Luna. Ludo is amazing,” she said, her eyes glinting with excitement.

Alpha Ludwig welcomed Luna Valerie politely. “Luna, you are welcome.”

“Thank you, Alpha Ludwig. Your pack is beyond the pictures I saw. You did great, and I see how Raven is already busy with herbs.”

Alpha Ludwig smiled. He was used to compliments from other Alphas and Lunas, but those from Luna Valerie and Alpha Denzel made him extremely happy.

“Thank you, Luna. Raven has been a wonderful woman, but I have you and Alpha Denzel to thank for her. She told me everything about her life.”

Valerie smiled, knowing what he meant, and tapped him on the shoulder. “There is always a reason for everything. I can’t wait for tomorrow.”

Ludwig smiled and turned to Alice. “You are welcome back, Alice. This will always be your pack.”

This pack formerly survived on Alice’s powers, so she was always welcome at the Black Fur Pack and would always be treated as a pack member.

“Thank you, Alpha Ludwig. A lot has changed, and I’m very happy to see it myself,” Alice said politely. Ludwig could not take all the compliments.

“I have your Alpha and my mate to thank for that. If Alpha Denzel had not threatened to not release Raven if I did nothing about the pack’s condition, nothing would have changed.”

“Now, I’m just obsessed with making it better and better for everyone,” he said seriously. But Alice and Raven laughed as Raven hugged Alice.

“I miss you so much, and I knew you won’t let me down. Hey, little man, I missed you a lot,” she said, taking Denver in her arms.

Denver stared into her eyes, but after a short while, his gaze lowered to something interesting.

Adira and Ashley were already there with their Alphas, surprised that Alpha Denzel allowed his Luna to travel without him accompanying her.

Also, their pups seemed excited for each other. Alice was free this time when the pups were left on the living room floor as the adults caught up on old times.

“Denver should join his cousins,” Ashley said, following Denver’s gaze.

Only Cairo was his cousin, but due to the closeness, she knew the pups were always going to be close, irrespective of blood or DNA.

The relationships between their parents were going to be one of the greatest tools to bond them for life.

Raven dropped Denver gently on the maple wood floor before saying to Alice excitedly.

“I can’t believe you all came so early to help me prepare.”

Before Alice could respond, Raven hugged her brother. It was clear how much they missed each other, having been together all their lives.

Pulling away, Raven remembered something and spoke excitedly to the three Lunas in front of her.

“You should all come and see. Ludwig has a special place for me, and I believe you’ll all like it.”

She was about to call one of the maids to bring varieties of fruits and drinks when Ashley stopped her.

“If it’s a special place for you, then we shouldn’t be there.”

Raven laughed. Ashley has always been courteous, so she explained. “Well, he said it’s mine, so I get to decide who I want there.”

Ashley was more relaxed after hearing this as they followed Raven through the back door to the backyard. But what they met was a small garden set up like a living room.

The greens made it all so stunning, and as they made themselves comfortable, Raven asked the maids to bring them the things needed.

“This is a nice concept. I should do something like this in my backyard,” Adira said. But before anyone could respond, the scream of the three men inside the living room reached their ears, causing them to panic as they hastened to the living room.
