Chapter 1091: A Magnet For Disaster Chapter 1091: A Magnet For Disaster Villain Ch 1091.
A Magnet For Disaster Allen clicked the attachments one by one, skimming through each entry quickly but carefully.
Each file contained a short synopsis of the Devil Emperor’s origin.
But as he read, he realized that all five stories shared a common theme-Azazel’s fall from grace was rooted in betrayal, a once noble prince and knight forced into darkness by circumstances beyond his control.
He also lost his five friends, lovers, and aides due to the betrayal, resulting in his hatred for humans and his urge to embrace dark powers to seek revenge.
The difference was the setting and the execution.
Some sounded darker than others.
He leaned back in his chair, taking a deep breath as he processed everything he’d just read.
Each story had its own flavor, its own unique twist on the same theme.
His writer’s instinct kicked in, and he couldn’t help but feel a pull to expand on the stories he had just read.
‘Now I’m starting to see these as writing prompts,’ he cried internally, feeling the itch to sit down and craft new stories.
The creativity buzzed in his mind, but he had to restrain himself.
He had promised the girls a grind session, and he was going to keep that promise.
With a reluctant sigh, Allen closed the email and set his phone aside.
He could think about it later.
For now, he had to focus on the game.
He grabbed his VR headset and slipped it on, logging back into Hell’s Gate.
The familiar loading screen greeted him, and soon, he was standing back in the Cursed Crypts.
He heard voices nearby-the girls, already chatting and seemingly unaware that he had logged in.
“Honestly, how long do you think Jane can go without triggering a trap?” Larissa’s voice echoed in the crypt, filled with mock seriousness.
Vivian laughed and replied, “I give her five minutes.
Max.
She’s like a magnet for disaster.” Jane shot back, “Hey!
I’m learning!
I’ve been practicing my trap detection skills.” Zoe, clearly amused, chimed in with a grin in her voice, “Practicing?
You mean you’ve been stepping on more traps?” “That’s…
part of the learning process!” Jane protested, though her tone was playful, clearly enjoying the teasing.
The group laughed together, clearly relaxed, waiting for their next grind session.
It was Shea who noticed him first.
Turning toward him, she raised an eyebrow and grinned.

“Oh, there you are,” she said, loud enough for the others to hear.
The rest of the girls turned in unison, their playful teasing coming to a halt as they realized Allen had been standing there, listening to them the whole time.
“You’re a bit later than usual,” Shea continued, tilting her head slightly.
“Was your sister giving you trouble again?” Allen laughed softly, shaking his head.
“Nah, not this time.
Just had to check something on the market and grab a drink.
Also, I just got a new email from the staff.
It was about my origin and the event.” The girls perked up, clearly curious.
Larissa leaned in slightly.
“Your origin?
What did they write about you?
I bet it’s some super dark and twisted stuff.” Her eyes gleamed with interest.
Allen chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Well, sort of.
I’m supposed to review the five ideas they came up with and pick which one fits the best.
They all kind of revolve around the same theme-betrayal, darkness, you know, typical fallen knight stuff.” Jane raised an eyebrow, grinning.
“So, they’re basically letting you decide how your character’s story goes?
That’s pretty cool!
What are the ideas like?” Allen shrugged.
“It’s basically about a prince or a knight.
He experiences some kind of betrayal, usually involving the deaths of his five closest friends.
Each story’s a little different, but in all of them, he falls into darkness because he has no other choice and becomes hateful toward humans because of it.” Zoe crossed her arms.
“Hmm, that sounds right up your alley.
Tragic backstory, fall from grace, turning into a badass villain-classic stuff.” Jane’s eyes gleamed with excitement.
“Which one are you leaning toward?” “I’m not sure yet.
I haven’t had time to really think about it.
I’ll deal with it after we’re done grinding.
For now…” Allen’s voice trailed off as he opened his inventory and checked his potions and gear.
“Are you guys ready to grind some more?” The girls exchanged grins and nodded in unison.
“Yup,” they chorused.
“Let’s do this,” Larissa said, ready for action.
They moved toward the portal room.
The Abyssal Rift awaited them-one of the toughest grind spots in the game, filled with high-level monsters, brutal traps, and near-constant ambushes.
Once they came out of the portal, the temperature seemed to drop, and a harsh wind whipped around them, carrying sand and dust that stung at their skin.
The landscape before them was barren, almost lifeless, except for the massive ruins of an ancient city that sprawled across the horizon.
The entrance to the Abyssal Rift loomed ahead of them, an ominous and gaping hole in the ground.
It was enormous-large enough to swallow ten two-story buildings without a trace.
The wind howled as it swirled around the opening, creating an eerie sound that echoed across the ruined city.
Sand swirled at the edges of the abyss, and every gust seemed to carry with it a warning to stay away.
The girls, standing at the edge of the entrance, exchanged glances.
The sheer scale of the hole was always unnerving, no matter how many times they had seen it.
The Abyssal Rift wasn’t a popular place for players, and for good reason.
The loot here wasn’t particularly valuable, and the monsters-while challenging-didn’t drop anything special.
But it was the perfect spot for what Allen and his team needed.
As expected, there were no other players in sight.
The place had become something of a ghost zone-an area only the most determined, or perhaps the most reckless, would dare enter.
It was an unattractive grind spot for most people.
The monsters inside were all level 160 and higher, but the rewards just didn’t justify the risk.
Besides, most players hadn’t reached this level yet.
