Chapter 1094: Persistent Chapter 1094: Persistent Villain Ch 1094.
Persistent Beside it, the Harrowing Specter hovered menacingly.
Dark energy swirled around its jagged scythe.
The two monsters, though different in form, moved in near-perfect unison, like predators stalking their prey.
And Allen was their target.
He didn’t flinch.
Allen’s hand glowed with black energy.
With a swift motion, he summoned his Demonic Lance skill and hurled them toward the runes on both the Warlord and the Specter.
The lances tore through the air, aiming for the glowing weak points on the monsters’ armor.
But the creatures were fast, faster than he’d anticipated.
The Graveborn Warlord raised its massive sword, deflecting the lances with a brutal swing, sparks flying as metal clashed against dark energy.
The Harrowing Specter, its form more fluid and ghostly, used its scythe to parry the rest of the incoming lances, the weapons disappearing in a flicker of shadow as they collided.
“Damn it,” Allen muttered under his breath.
His attacks hadn’t done the damage he’d hoped for.
The two monsters moved in tandem, their weapons raised as they lunged toward him.
The Warlord’s sword came down, the fiery blade slashing through the air where Allen had stood just moments before.
He dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the crushing blow, but no sooner had he moved than the Specter’s scythe came sweeping toward him from the opposite direction.
Allen’s eyes narrowed.
He couldn’t dodge both attacks.
He had to be faster, more precise.
‘Shadow Step,’ he thought, activating the skill.
In an instant, his body dissolved into shadow, vanishing from the path of the scythe just as the blade cut through the air where he had been standing.
He reappeared a heartbeat later-directly in front of the Graveborn Warlord, his sword aimed at the fiery rune glowing on its chest.
“Gotha!” Allen smirked, plunging his blade deep into the monster’s chest, directly into the pulsing rune.
[Critical hit!]Â [You have pierced Graveborn Warlord for 10,312 HP!] The Warlord let out an agonized roar, its body shuddering as dark energy exploded from the wound.
The fiery runes flickered wildly, dimming as it stumbled backward, its massive form momentarily weakened.
But there was no time to celebrate.
The Harrowing Specter moved faster than Allen could react, darting toward its ally.
Its scythe swung toward him, aiming for his back.
Allen barely had time to pull his sword free and retreat, but the space was too narrow.

The jagged cliffs surrounding them left little room to maneuver.
He could feel the cold presence of the Specter behind him, its weapon whistling through the air.
“Telekinesis Blast!” Allen shouted, thrusting his hand forward.
A wave of invisible force exploded from him, slamming into both monsters with brutal power.
The blast was enough to push them back, and for a moment, it looked like they would tumble into the endless void below.
But the creatures weren’t so easily defeated.
Both the Warlord and the Specter plunged their weapons into the stone ground, using them as anchors to hold their positions.
Allen clicked his tongue in frustration.
“Persistent bastards.” He had to finish this, and fast.
His eyes flickered toward the Graveborn Warlord.
The creature was still reeling from the damage he had inflicted on its rune.
Its HP bar had dropped significantly, but it wasn’t out yet.
If he could take it down, dealing with the Harrowing Specter would be much easier.
With a snarl, Allen summoned his next skill.
“Demonic Orbs,” he whispered.
Small, swirling orbs of black energy formed around him, crackling with malevolent force.
He directed the orbs toward the Graveborn Warlord, sending them hurtling through the air like guided missiles to his rune.
The Warlord, weakened and unable to react quickly enough, was struck by the orbs.
Each one exploded on impact, tearing into the monster’s armor and sending shards of bone and metal flying.
The creature roared again, its HP bar dropping rapidly as the orbs drained its life force.
It staggered, barely able to keep its massive frame upright.
[Critical hits!]Â [You have hit Graveborn Warlord for 512 HP!] X 21 Allen smirked, knowing he had the advantage now.
The Warlord’s HP was down to a quarter, its once fearsome presence now faltering under the relentless assault.
But the battle wasn’t over yet.
The Harrowing Specter, seeing its ally on the verge of defeat, let out a bone-chilling screech.
It raised its scythe high above its head, dark energy swirling around the blade as it prepared to unleash its attack.
Allen cursed under his breath, realizing he was still in a narrow position.
He had to finish the Graveborn Warlord before the Specter could land its strike.
But before the deadly scythe could come down, shadows erupted from the ground, wrapping around the Specter’s arms and legs like living chains.
Alice’s voice rang out.
“Go, Allen!” He glanced at Alice, nodding his thanks as the Specter struggled, momentarily immobilized by her Shadow Bind.
The girls were locked in combat with the minions.
Even Jane, who usually joked during battle, had summoned her wraiths-dark, ghostly figures that swirled around her, attacking the enemies with vicious, spectral claws.
No one was chatting like before they were all focused.
He lunged toward the Graveborn Warlord.
The Warlord, though weakened, wasn’t going down without a fight.
It raised its massive, rune-covered sword, swinging it down toward Allen with a force that could cleave through stone.
The ground cracked beneath its power.
Allen twisted to the side, dodging the blow just in time.
He could feel the heat of the blade as it passed mere inches from his body.
The Warlord snarled, bringing its sword up for another strike.
Allen met the Warlord’s next attack with his own, their swords clashing in a shower of sparks.
It was heavy.
The impact sent a shockwave through his arms, but Allen held firm, pushing back.
The Warlord roared in frustration, swinging its sword again in a wild arc.
This time, Allen deflected the strike.
He ducked under another swing, his eyes locked on the glowing rune in the Warlord’s chest.
That was his target.
