Villain Ch 1097.
Is It Normal To Get Aroused Just From Watching Some Sword Skills?
Just like how they entered, this place was intense.
It was exactly what they expected, yet somehow still more.
Traps were everywhere, and even though they’d been here before, even though they had learned the layout and marked the dangers, they couldn’t avoid all of them.
It was a reminder that the dungeon wasn’t going to let them have an easy time.
The corridors twisted and shifted around them, ancient mechanisms grinding to life with every step they took, daring them to slip up, to make one fatal mistake.
One time, as they ventured deeper, the ground beneath them trembled, and in an instant, the path ahead crumbled into nothing.
The void below opened wide, an inky black chasm that didn’t just drop-it pulled.
Like a whirlpool in an endless sea of darkness, it reached up with invisible fingers, trying to drag Shea and Zoe into its hungry maw.
Shea’s wings flared out instantly, and Zoe’s tentacles lashed out, desperately trying to find some grip, but it wasn’t enough.
The pull was strong, stronger than anything they’d felt before.
Allen reacted first, his eyes narrowing as he activated his Barrier skill.
An invisible layer materialized, cutting through the air like a shield between his companions and the void, slowing its pull.
Jane was right behind him, reinforcing the barrier with her own, adding a thicker layer of resistance.
Finally, with Allen’s Telekinesis Blast, he sent a burst of energy that pushed both Shea and Zoe back onto solid ground.
Their breaths were heavy, and sweat dripped down their brows, but they managed to flash him a grateful thumbs-up before they carried on.
“I thought I was going to die.
Thanks a lot, guys,” Zoe muttered, still catching her breath.
“No problem,” Allen replied, though he kept his eyes on the void, glaring at it like it had personally offended him.
Another trap-barely a minute later-was the spiky path that suddenly rose up from the ground.
Spikes of jagged black stone shot up like teeth, forming a wall in front of them that stretched from one end of the corridor to the other.
They tried cutting through them at first, but every time one spike was shattered, two more would rise to replace it.
It was clear they’d have to go around or above, but the ceiling was too low to fly through without risking impalement.
“Why can’t anything be easy in this place?” Bella groaned, running a hand through her hair in frustration.
Allen smirked, drawing one of his swords.
“You say that every time, Bella.” “And it’s true every time,” she shot back.
“So?

What should we do?” Larissa asked.
“Don’t worry!
Jane is here!” Jane said pridefully.
She used her Necromancy skill and made her undead army cover up the spikes so they could walk on them without problem.
Another tremor, and this time, a series of boulders dropped from the ceiling, aiming directly for their heads.
It wasn’t just a few rocks; these were the size of cars, and there were dozens of them.
Allen barely had time to react, but with a swift movement.
He slashed upwards, cutting through the first boulder with a resounding crack.
It split cleanly in two, each half smashing into the ground harmlessly on either side of them.
Another one fell, and he repeated the motion, moving faster than their eyes could follow until the threat was gone.
“Is it normal to get aroused just from watching some sword skills?” Alice whispered to Bella.
“No,” Bella stated, glancing at Alice.
“Especially in this damned place.” But among all… Undead minions were the worst.
They crawled out from the void like roaches, skeletal hands gripping the edge of the chasm before pulling themselves up, one after another, in never-ending waves.
Each time a trap activated, the minions would swarm.
Sometimes, they had swords; other times, it was their long, bony claws that reached out, aiming for throats, legs, anything to pull them into that endless abyss.
Vivian took the lead, her succubus wings spreading wide as she launched herself into the horde.
Zoe summoned her Tsunami skill, tentacles lashing out and wrapping around anything that moved, squeezing until bones shattered into dust.
Alice’s Curse skill ripped through the undead ranks, while Shea sang haunting melodies that made the minions hesitate, as if even death itself could be lulled by her voice.
And Bella used her elemental skills, fire licking at her heels as she tore through one after another.
But Allen, he watched the runes.
Every time the minions came, every time they advanced, the runes on the towers around them pulsed with light.
Like some eerie lighthouse in the middle of an endless storm, they flickered, brighter and brighter, as if to warn the monsters, to guide them, to tell them exactly where their prey was.
And it wasn’t random.
Allen knew that now.
It was like those runes sensed them, reacted to their presence, but they hadn’t figured out how to stop it.
“When did they light up?” he muttered, eyes narrowing.
“When did they start glowing?” No one had an answer.
It was always a moment too late, always a second after they realized they were surrounded.
It grated on him.
“Let’s take a break,” Larissa finally suggested, dropping down onto a pile of corpses they’d just created.
The others followed, all of them breathing hard.
Sitting on the remains of the minions, they took their Mana potions.
Allen downed his potion in one go, staring at the path ahead.
It was narrow and winding.
But there, at the end, he could see the faint shimmer of a barrier, a protective veil that marked the entrance to the next chamber.
“That’s it,” he muttered.
“The Riftkeeper’s up ahead.” “Are you guys ready for this?” Larissa asked.
Blood and mana residue stained her clothes, but at this point, it was just part of the job.
Her eyes scanned the group, waiting for some sign of readiness.
