Chapter 1100: I Hate This Monster!
Chapter 1100: I Hate This Monster!
Villain Ch 1100.
I Hate This Monster!
Allen, Vivian, Shea, Alice, and Larissa charged simultaneously, their attacks perfectly synchronized.
Alice’s Curse skill struck the Riftkeeper, her dark magic wrapping around the creature’s twisted form, slowing it down.
The effect was immediate.
The once-erratic movement of its many eyes became sluggish, giving the group a vital edge.
Allen closed in.
With a powerful swing, his blade connected with the Riftkeeper’s molten flesh.
The impact was brutal, and the system notification popped up.
[You have cut The Riftkeeper for 5,425 HP!] But despite the damage, Allen couldn’t help but grit his teeth in frustration.
This creature had no clear weaknesses-no soft points to exploit, no elemental vulnerabilities.
It was a relentless wall of power and flesh.
His strikes, though powerful, felt like drops in an ocean compared to what they needed to bring this beast down.
The Riftkeeper roared, its grotesque body rippling as its many eyes locked onto the attackers.
Without warning, its Flame Eye Barrage activated.
Each eye began to glow with searing heat, launching bursts of concentrated fire toward the group.
“Fall back!” Allen barked, barely managing to dodge the first wave of fire.
The others reacted quickly, pulling back as the ground around them lit up with fiery impacts.
For a moment, the battlefield was filled with swirling flames, making it impossible to advance.
Allen and Jane moved swiftly, positioning themselves side by side.
They both activated their Barrier skills.
A dome of shimmering energy formed around the team just in time to absorb the brunt of the fiery assault.
The force of the attack rattled through the barriers, but they held firm, protecting the group from being scorched alive.
As the flames began to subside, Allen’s gaze flickered toward the Riftkeeper.
Its form shifted ominously, and he recognized the pattern instantly.
It was the Molten Divide skill!
Molten Divide was a super annoying skill that would split the creature into two, each copy sharing the half HP pool but doubling the difficulty of the battle.
But something was different this time.

The Riftkeeper was moving slower-far slower than last time, thanks to Alice’s Curse.
They had a window, albeit a narrow one.
Shea activated her Lullaby skill.
Her soft, haunting melody filled the cavern, weaving through the air and wrapping around the Riftkeeper like an enchantment.
The creature’s movements became even more sluggish, its massive limbs dragging as if weighed down by invisible chains.
The team didn’t hesitate.
With the Riftkeeper slowed, they poured everything into their offense.
Larissa’s blood manipulation skill turned her bloody tendrils into deadly spears, which she hurled at the creature.
Vivian lashed out with her whip.
Alice’s shadows coiled around its legs, keeping it pinned in place as Jane’s necromantic summons swarmed over it, clawing and shrieking.
For a moment, it seemed like they had the upper hand.
The Riftkeeper’s HP bar plummeted, dropping by nearly a third under the relentless assault.
But then, the candles around the creature’s body flickered ominously, and Allen’s stomach sank.
“Oh no…” he muttered under his breath, recognizing the Riftkeeper’s next move.
“Smoldering Regeneration,” it muttered.
Several of the spectral candles around the cavern had been extinguished by Bella and Zoe’s efforts, but enough remained alight to fuel the monster’s regeneration.
But the keeper would take the candles on its own body for its first regeneration.
The Riftkeeper’s body began to glow with a sickly red hue, the damage they’d inflicted quickly reversing as its HP slowly climbed back up.
‘Oh God… I hate this monster,’ Allen grunted internally.
As Alice’s Curse finished, the Riftkeeper began to move faster, its eyes gleaming with renewed ferocity.
It lurched forward, preparing to split itself once more.
But before it could activate its Molten Divide, Allen raised his hand, dark energy swirling around his palm as he unleashed his Stone Curse skill.
The magic shot forward, enveloping the Riftkeeper in a wave of petrifying energy.
Its body stiffened, the stone curse slowing its movements just enough to prevent the clone from forming.
Allen knew the skill wouldn’t last long, but it bought them precious seconds.
“Don’t let up!” Allen shouted, his voice urgent.
They needed to capitalize on the moment.
They showered the Riftkeeper with attacks-Larissa’s blood spears, Shea’s razor-sharp feathers, Vivian’s rapid whip strikes.
Even Allen himself hurled Demonic Orbs and slashed with his sword, carving into the monster as fast as he could.
But then the ground beneath them rumbled, and Allen’s instincts screamed danger.
“Move!” he yelled, just as the Riftkeeper melted into the ground.
“Candlefire Eruption,” it muttered.
The cavern floor erupted in a violent surge of molten fire, sending fiery spikes shooting up in all directions.
Allen cursed under his breath.
Both his and Jane’s Barriers were still on cooldown, leaving the group vulnerable.
They had no choice but to retreat, each member dodging the fiery spikes with quick reflexes and desperate movements.
Flames burst from the ground, lighting up the cavern as the group scattered, narrowly avoiding being skewered by the molten spikes.
Despite the chaos, they managed to regroup, but Allen knew they couldn’t afford to stay defensive for long.
The Riftkeeper was still standing, and if they didn’t find a way to stop its regeneration soon, the fight would drag on far longer than they could handle.
“This isn’t over yet,” Allen thought grimly, his eyes narrowing on the monstrous figure as it reformed from the ground, its twisted body glowing with molten fury.
The Riftkeeper, once again solidified, seemed to pulse with an even darker, more menacing energy.
The fiery spikes from its last attack still smoldered on the cavern floor, creating patches of flame that hissed and crackled around them.
He didn’t hesitate.
They couldn’t afford hesitation.
“Demonic Lances!” Allen roared, thrusting his hand forward.
Dark energy coalesced in the air around him, shaping into long, jagged spears.
The lances hovered for a split second before launching themselves at the Riftkeeper in a flurry.
Each lance pierced through the creature’s molten flesh, causing it to stagger, but still, the Riftkeeper persisted, its numerous eyes blinking and twitching with an almost insane intensity.
