Chapter 1102: Extinguished Chapter 1102: Extinguished Villain Ch 1102.
Extinguished With the Riftkeeper trapped by Vivian’s Nightmare Trap and Allen’s Dark Storm still swirling around its grotesque form, the team moved in unison, knowing this was their final push.
The monster’s massive, twisted body heaved as it tried one last, desperate attempt to survive, its molten flesh bubbling and shifting.
It activated Smoldering Regeneration again, its distorted voice growling as it attempted to reignite the scattered, extinguished candles around the cavern.
But nothing happened.
The flames had all been snuffed out by Bella and Zoe.
There was no regeneration left for it.
The Riftkeeper’s many eyes flickered as it realized its defeat.
Still, it thrashed, unwilling to give in, but its movements were sluggish.
“Don’t give it any time to recover!” Allen barked, his voice fierce and commanding.
The rest of them moved instantly, driven by adrenaline and a determination to end this annoying ugly monster.
All at once, they attacked with everything they had.
The Riftkeeper roared, a final, guttural sound of defiance, but it was too late.
With no candles left to restore its life force, it could no longer heal itself.
The combined onslaught was overwhelming, tearing through the Riftkeeper’s defenses, reducing its HP to nothing.
The creature’s form began to dissolve, its molten body slowly losing shape as it collapsed.
Its many eyes flickered one last time before going dark.
With one final, echoing groan, the Riftkeeper died.
The ground beneath them rumbled as its massive form disintegrated.
[Congratulations!] [You have defeated The Riftkeeper!] [You received Candles 4 ea and 1,034 coins.] Allen exhaled a long breath, his chest heaving.
It was over… The beast was dead, and somehow, this time, the victory felt even more satisfying.
Better than their last battle.
They had kept the Riftkeeper from splitting, a strategy that had saved them from what could have been a disastrous fight.
It was over in less than fifteen minutes, and though all of them bore burns from the creature’s devastating fire skills, they were in good condition-better than they’d been before, at least.
“We made it…” Jane’s voice was soft, almost disbelieving, as she looked at the spot where the Riftkeeper had stood just moments ago.
“We made it before that ugly thing split…” She had been so certain they were going to face two of those abominations like last time, but they had prevented it.
Against the odds, they had done it.
It almost teared her up.
Vivian let out a low whistle.
Her lips curled into a triumphant grin.

“Well, look at us,” she said with a mixture of pride and disbelief.
“We actually pulled that off.
I was sure we’d be dodging two of those freaks by now, but nope.
Not today.” She slapped Allen on the shoulder, her eyes glinting with satisfaction.
“That strategy worked like a charm.” Alice brushed soot from her cloak, her eyes dark but her lips quirked in a small, rare smile.
“It didn’t even manage to clone itself.
That’s the best part.
We kept it from becoming twice the problem.” She looked at the others, her usual calm, collected demeanor softening.
“Good teamwork.
Everyone played their part.” Bella, who had been sitting on a rock nursing a minor burn on her arm, finally spoke up, her voice filled with playful exasperation.
“I hate that monster with a passion, but this…” She waved her hand toward the space where the Riftkeeper had been.
“This feels so good.
We wrecked it.” She let out a deep, satisfied sigh, tossing her hair back.
“I’ll take that as a win any day.” “Better than last time, that’s for sure,” Shea chimed in.
“I’ve never seen that thing drop so fast.
I mean, we were prepared this time, but still…” She trailed off, shaking her head in awe.
“We didn’t even give it a chance to breathe.” Larissa glanced over at Shea.
“I’m surprised you decided to use that skill,” she said, raising an eyebrow.
“I thought you hated it.
You said it makes you look like a hysterical crazy mom.” Shea groaned.
“Don’t remind me,” she whined, her face scrunching up in embarrassment.
“I do hate it!
The scream makes me feel like I’m losing my mind-like I’m that mom yelling at her kids in the market.
But it worked, didn’t it?” She crossed her arms, still sulking a bit.
“Ugh, I only use it when I have to, okay?” Vivian smirked.
“Hey, I’m just glad you used it.
I thought my eardrums were going to burst, but it shut that thing down, so no complaints here.” Shea gave her a pointed look, still grumbling under her breath.
“You guys are never going to let me forget it, are you?” A low, eerie cracking sound echoed through the cavern, causing them all to freeze for a moment.
They turned toward the source of the noise.
The door groaned as it creaked open slowly, revealing nothing but darkness beyond.
The thick, ancient stone seemed to shudder as it finally gave way.
They exchanged quick glances.
“Guess we triggered the next level,” Alice muttered, her eyes narrowing as she studied the entrance.
Jane let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding.
“We’ve never been past this point,” she said, her voice quiet but serious.
The last time they returned right after defeating the Riftkeeper.
Allen took a step forward, scanning the entrance with cautious eyes.
The air felt different, heavier, as if something far worse than the Riftkeeper waited just beyond the threshold.
His instincts told him to prepare, and judging by the atmosphere, the rest of the group felt it too.
“We need to refill our HP and Mana first,” he said.
He wasn’t about to lead them into unknown danger when they were still recovering from the last fight.
“Whatever’s in there is going to be worse than what we just faced.
Let’s not go in half-dead.” “Agreed,” Larissa nodded.
“I’m not looking forward to finding out what kind of nightmare is on the next level.
We need to be ready.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
