- Chapter 1109 - Chapter 1109 The Eighth Sin…
Chapter 1109: The Eighth Sin… Chapter 1109: The Eighth Sin… Villain Ch 1109.
The Eighth Sin… The corpse’s grip tightened slightly, as if the accusation alone was enough to stir what little life remained in its decayed body.
“My power… You killed me.
You killed all of my subordinates and took what was mine.
You destroyed my underworld kingdom, the empire I built with blood and fire.” Its voice grew harsher, filled with bitter anger that seemed to reverberate through the cold air.
“How dare you.” Allen’s frown deepened.
His character, the Devil Emperor he portrayed, was indeed a conqueror, one who had risen to power by defeating others, by absorbing their strength.
He thought back to the scenario the game developers had sent him.
‘So this does have something to do with the Devil Emperor’s past,’ Allen realized, his mind clicking into place.
‘Maybe a fragment of an old event, something I’ll have to deal with soon.’ But there was something else gnawing at the edges of his thoughts.
The game developers wouldn’t have put something this significant into the game just for him.
This wasn’t a private scenario.
If it were here, it had to be accessible to regular players as well.
‘So this thing will treat all players who land here as the Devil Emperor who stole his power,’ Allen thought.
This wasn’t a personal confrontation-it was part of the broader lore of the game, a piece of history that any player might stumble upon.
The corpse’s glowing eyes narrowed, as if sensing Allen’s hesitation.
“Do you think you can play ignorant?” it hissed.
“You thought you could steal my power and leave me forgotten in the shadows of your empire.
You may wear the crown now, but this throne was mine!” The grip tightened further, the skeletal fingers digging into Allen’s wrist like icy talons.
Allen remained outwardly calm, though his mind churned.
This wasn’t just a mindless boss encounter-there was a depth to this confrontation.
It felt like the game itself had taken on a life of its own, pushing him to confront his character’s existence.
The corpse’s voice was a low, rasping growl, dripping with resentment.
“You think you can escape this?
My power…
stolen.
You wear the crown, you sit on my throne, yet you pretend it is yours by right?” Allen, however, remained calm, his expression cool and collected.
He met the glowing eyes of the corpse without flinching.
“But the throne is mine now,” he said, his tone measured, but there was a firmness behind his words that couldn’t be ignored.
“You are nothing more than an empty shell left over from the past.

Without your power, what are you?” At his words, the corpse seemed to tremble.
The air in the chamber grew colder.
Allen could sense it now-this figure was powerless, a hollow remnant of what it had once been.
The only thing keeping it tethered to this place was its insatiable desire for revenge, its hatred for what Allen represented.
The corpse’s fingers tightened around Allen’s wrist once more, but the pressure was less threatening now-more desperate.
“My power…” it whispered, the words like a plea.
Then, louder, with a shriek.
“Give me back my power!” Allen’s eyes narrowed.
He had no intention of playing along with this twisted relic’s delusions.
His voice grew colder as he leaned forward, staring into the hollow eyes of the corpse.
“Release me,” he commanded, his voice calm but laced with authority.
The corpse refused, its grip tightening, trembling with its own fury.
“No…
I will not release you.
Not until you return what is mine.
You stole from me.
You took everything-my power!” Allen’s patience wore thin.
His eyes flashed with dark energy as he invoked one of his abilities.
“Fine,” he said quietly, his hand glowing with power.
“You leave me no choice.” With a swift motion, he activated his Telekinesis Blast.
A surge of invisible force exploded from his body, and the corpse’s grip was violently torn away.
The blast sent the decayed figure slammed into the back of the throne with a sickening crack, almost destroying it.
But it seemed due to the game mechanic both the throne and the corpse couldn’t be destroyed completely.
Freed from the corpse’s grasp, Allen stepped back, shaking off the sensation of the skeletal fingers.
He watched as the entity lay crumpled against the throne, its body twitching but powerless to rise.
Despite the physical defeat, the corpse was far from silent.
“I shouldn’t have pulled you into the darkness,” the corpse rasped, its voice now weak and filled with regret.
The sudden change in its tone caught the entire group off guard.
It no longer sounded like the vengeful, hateful creature they had been facing moments ago.
Now, it sounded…
remorseful.
“I shouldn’t have attacked you.
I thought…
This would be fun, but I was wrong.
I was wrong…” Allen watched it with a cold detachment.
“What are you talking about?” he demanded.
The corpse coughed, a dry, rasping sound that echoed in the vast chamber.
“I thought…
making you evil, bringing you to our side…
would be a blessing to me.
A new servant of darkness.
The eighth sin…
But I was wrong.” Allen’s expression didn’t soften.
His mind worked to understand what this decayed creature had once been.
‘So the past of the current devil emperor should be the eighth sin?’ he thought.
‘This is interesting…’ “You thought making me evil would help you?” Allen asked, his voice filled with quiet disdain.
“I don’t need to be on your side to rule.” The corpse shuddered, its glowing eyes dimming as its strength continued to fade.
“I thought…
you would serve me well after I cut down all your attachment to your humanity.
The throne, the power, it was all supposed to be mine, but…
you took it.
And I’ve been trapped here, waiting…
waiting for someone to undo what was done.” Allen crossed his arms, his gaze hard as he looked down at the fallen figure.
“And now what?” he asked.
“You’re just a shadow, trapped in a room with no power left to claim.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
