Chapter 1111: We Can’t Have A Broke Devil Emperor Running Around Chapter 1111: We Can’t Have A Broke Devil Emperor Running Around Villain Ch 1111.
We Can’t Have A Broke Devil Emperor Running Around “Or,” Allen said, breaking the flow of conversation and drawing the others’ attention, “maybe the way out was open from the start.” Everyone turned to him.
Allen nodded toward the throne, stepping to the side to give them a better view.
“There,” he said, pointing to the gap behind the throne, its edges just visible through the faded, tattered curtain.
“It’s not exactly hidden, but it wasn’t obvious either.” The others followed his gaze, their eyes widening as they spotted the gap.
The opening was large enough for them to walk through.
Bella blinked in surprise.
“Wait, that’s the way out?” she asked, stepping closer to inspect it.
“I thought this place had no exit!
I mean, with all the creepy corpses and the dead emperor’s speech, I was sure we were trapped.” “Turns out it’s not that bad,” Allen said with a shrug, though there was a slight smirk on his face.
He wasn’t entirely sure whether the exit had been intentionally obscured or if the dungeon itself had been playing tricks on them.
Either way, they had found their way out, and for now, that was enough.
The gap was narrow, but manageable.
One by one, they squeezed through, their footsteps echoing softly in the narrow passageway.
The air grew cooler as they moved, the dampness walls clinging to them.
After a few moments of walking, they emerged back near the spot where they had originally fallen.
They hadn’t traveled far, it seemed-just deep enough into the dungeon to confront the ancient corpse.
Alice was the first to break the silence as they regrouped.
She stretched her arms out with a small grin on her face.
“We’re back here, fellas!” She motioned around them, her tone far too cheerful given the situation.
Bella shot her a skeptical look.
“Why do you sound happy?
I mean, this doesn’t mean anything.
Except maybe if they suddenly transport us to a treasure room.” Her voice was edged with frustration.
“You know, something useful.” Alice raised an eyebrow, unfazed by Bella’s irritation.
“At least we’re not lost,” she quipped, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.
“And I don’t know about you, but not getting lost in a creepy dungeon is a win in my book.” Allen let out a low, mocking chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Oh, I’m sure the treasure room is empty anyway,” he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
“The one who stole his power was me, right?
There’s no way I can leave this place without taking my loot.

Making a new empire takes a lot of money.” Bella raised an eyebrow, unable to hide a smirk.
“You do have a point there.
If you’re the one who supposedly stole all the power, you better have snagged some gold while you were at it.
I mean, what kind of self-respecting devil emperor doesn’t have a treasure hoard?” Jane huffed.
“Honestly, if there’s no treasure at the end of this, I’m going to be more annoyed than finding out the last pages of a mystery novel are ripped out right before the big reveal.” She paused, then added with a grin, “You’ve got to fund your empire somehow.
So, I’ll let you off the hook-this time.
As long as you give me half of it,” she joked.
Vivian’s playful smirk mirrored Allen’s.
“I hate to say it, but Allen’s right.
With all the destruction you cause, rebuilding must cost a fortune.” Zoe chimed in, her voice soft but laced with humor.
“Maybe there’s a vault hidden deeper in the dungeon.
Who knows?
After all, even cursed kings need to stash their wealth somewhere.
A hidden one.
You might still get lucky.” Allen couldn’t help but smirk at that.
“Oh, I’m counting on it.
But if there’s nothing valuable, I’ll just have to take something else.
Maybe knock down a few more walls for good measure.” Vivian raised a hand in mock surrender.
“Fine, fine.
We’ll all chip in and make sure you get your loot, Your Majesty,” she teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“After all, we can’t have a broke Devil Emperor running around.” Allen rolled his eyes, but there was a trace of a grin on his face.
“I’m glad you all understand.
Now, let’s focus on clearing the rest of this place before we start planning my next empire.” Zoe finally spoke up.
“We are going to continue?” Allen turned to her, his eyes still gleaming with a bit of mischief, but his voice was serious.
“Yeah.” He paused, swiping his hand through the air to open his status interface.
His eyes scanned the glowing numbers, checking his EXP bar with a small frown.
“The event only gave me 0.5%.
I still need 0.5% more to level up.” Shea groaned, shaking her head in disbelief.
“Only 0.5%?” she repeated.
Allen nodded, closing the interface with a swipe of his hand.
“Apparently, talking with the ancient dead emperors doesn’t pay as much as you’d think.” Shea crossed her arms, tapping her foot against the stone floor.
“Well then, what are we waiting for?
Let’s go kick some monsters and get you that last 0.5%.” The others exchanged looks.
“Let’s go!” Jane said.
“Besides, we might stumble upon a real treasure room next time, right?” Vivian laughed.
“Always the optimist, Jane.
But sure, I’m up for it.” Allen smirked, satisfied by their determination.
“All right, then,” he said, his voice steady.
“Let’s move.” They started down the corridor.
It wasn’t long before the familiar sound of skittering reached their ears-a noise they all immediately recognized.
The low, rhythmic clattering of insectoid legs echoed ominously from the depths ahead, growing louder.
He didn’t need to say anything; the group knew exactly what was coming.
The swarm hit them quickly, emerging from cracks in the walls and the shadowed recesses of the passage.
They were the same Obsidian Centipedes they had fought earlier.
By the end of the battle, the last of the Obsidian Centipedes fell.
A system notification flashed in front of his eyes.
