Chapter 1112: Finally!
Chapter 1112: Finally!
Villain Ch 1112.
Finally!
A faint smile tugged at the corner of Allen’s mouth.
“Finally,” Allen muttered under his breath, checking his stats.
“That’s one thing off the list.” The others gathered around him, noticing the faint glow from his level-up.
“Congrats,” Shea said, wiping insect guts off her harp with a grimace.
“At least something good came out of all this bug-squashing.” “Yeah, no treasure, but at least you got your level,” Bella added, her tone playful despite the mess around them.
She kicked the nearest centipede corpse with her boot, scowling at the squelching sound it made.
“Though I was really hoping for a treasure room or something by now.” Allen chuckled softly.
“I told you, if anyone took the treasure from this place, it was me-or, at least, my character in the past.
There’s nothing left here for us.” “Except bugs,” Vivian added, dislodging the last remnants of ichor from it.
“Lots and lots of bugs.” “I guess that’s it then,” Jane said.
“Let’s head back.” Allen nodded in agreement and opened the portal.
[You have opened a portal!] The group stepped through one by one.
They re-entered the crypt base.
The atmosphere was far more comfortable here, more in line with the controlled chaos they were used to.
Once the portal closed behind them, Larissa broke the silence.
“So, are you going to upgrade your class today?” she asked, glancing at Allen.
Allen grimaced slightly, running a hand through his hair.
“I don’t think so.
After everything that happened today, I could use a proper break.
Plus, the quest to unlock my next tier is going to be long and complicated, and, well…
dinner time’s almost here.” Bella nodded in agreement, resting her hands on her hips.
“Makes sense.
No point jumping straight into another long quest when we’re all pretty wiped.” “Oh, right,” Allen said, his expression shifting as if he’d just remembered something.
“I already sealed the deal for the venue for the conference.” He turned to Shea.
“What about the costumes?
Are we good to go on those?” Shea smiled.

“Yup.
I’ll send you the designs via email later tonight.
The design team finished everything, and they kept it simple, so they won’t look too strict like cosplayer costumes.
All the fabrics and materials are the same as what we wear daily.
They’ll also provide accessories, you know…
elf ears, stuff like that.” Allen grinned.
“Good.
I’m counting on you, Shea.
Accessories are key, but nothing too over the top.” Zoe chimed in.
“Do you need clothes for specific fantasy races?
Like orcs or goblins, maybe?” Allen paused for a moment, considering the idea, but then shook his head.
“That’s actually a great idea if this event were a full-blown fantasy convention or a gamers-only gathering.
But we’re going to have a mix of guests, including some pretty wealthy and serious people.
I don’t think it needs to go that far.
Besides, wearing body paint or heavy prosthetics for too long while serving drinks or mingling with guests could be really distracting.” Zoe nodded thoughtfully.
“Makes sense.
We’ll keep it simple but still stay true to the fantasy theme.
No need to go full cosplay, but enough to give it the right vibe.” Allen turned to Vivian next.
“How about makeup?
Any updates on that front?” Vivian smiled and gave him a thumbs-up.
“I’ve already got some makeup artists lined up.
They’re pros and have done cosplay and special effects makeup for events like this before.
Just send me the final costume designs, and I’ll coordinate with them.
We’ll make sure everything looks flawless.” “Perfect,” Allen replied, relieved that everything was coming together smoothly.
“Just let me know when I need to send the downpayment for them.” Jane glanced at the others.
“What about the food?
Do we have a final menu?” “Kai’s got that covered,” Allen assured her.
“He’s working with a high-end catering service, and they’re going to have a mix of fancy, upscale dishes for the VIPs, and more casual, fantasy-themed options for the rest of the guests.” Bella nodded approvingly.
“As long as there’s plenty of variety.
You know, some people like fancy finger foods, but others want to actually eat.
I’m guessing a mix will keep everyone happy.” “Definitely,” Allen said.
“We’re also going to have some themed drinks.
Kai’s got the bartenders prepping potions-style cocktails and mocktails.
Should be fun.” Larissa’s brow furrowed slightly, thinking ahead.
“And the decorations?
You know how important it is to keep the vibe right.
Are we doing a full fantasy setup, or are we toning it down?” “We’re keeping it balanced,” Allen replied.
“The venue will have touches of fantasy-like enchanted lights, and some themed props-but nothing too overwhelming.
We don’t want it to feel like a renaissance fair.
It’s gotta be elegant, with just the right amount of flair.” Alice smirked, her voice playful.
“Elegant, but still cool enough for the gamers to feel at home.
Got it.
What about the MC?
Do we know who’s going to be running the show?” Allen shook his head slightly.
“Not yet, but Kai’s narrowed it down to a few candidates.
He’s picking someone who’s professional but can still have fun with the theme.” Jane leaned in, her curiosity piqued.
“And we’re not going too heavy on the fantasy, right?
Just enough for the aesthetic?” Allen nodded.
“Exactly.
The whole point is to merge the two worlds-corporate elegance and immersive fantasy.
It’s a delicate balance, but I trust Kai’s judgment.
He’s been working with the decorators to make sure everything flows.” Zoe glanced around at the group, her tone thoughtful.
“Seems like everything’s coming together.
As long as we keep the balance, it’ll be a hit.” “Let’s hope so,” Allen said with a grin.
“There’s no turning back.” Allen thought for a moment, running through everything in his head.
There was still so much to organize, but he trusted his team.
“Is there anything else we need to go over?” he made sure once again, sweeping his gaze toward his team.
They thought for a while and shook their heads in unison.
“Okay.
I’m going to log off now,” Allen said, stretching his arms.
“If anything comes up, just text me.” With a final wave, Allen logged off.
The Cursed Crypts began to dissolve, fading into black as his consciousness slipped from the immersive virtual reality and returned to the real world.
