Chapter 1117: Not Evil Genius Chapter 1117: Not Evil Genius Villain Ch 1117.
Not Evil Genius Gerry shot a quick glance at Allen before chiming in again.
“Yeah, we’re working on it.
But let’s keep this between us for now, alright?” He clapped Mark on the shoulder, giving him a friendly nudge.
Mark shrugged, looking a little perplexed but not too concerned, and let it drop.
Once Mark turned his attention elsewhere, Gerry leaned closer to Allen, lowering his voice again.
“Alright, so here’s what I’m thinking.
We don’t need to blow up her spot, but we can play this smart.
First off, we’ve got to get ahead of whatever she’s saying about you.
Start changing the narrative before it takes root any deeper.
Maybe make it clear that you’re not taking any of this seriously, you’re just here to work out, mind your own business, and keep your head down.
We make her rumors look ridiculous by being chill.” Allen raised an eyebrow, intrigued but skeptical.
“So I just do nothing?” It was upside down with his previous suggestions.
Gerry smirked.
“Yep!
You don’t have to say anything directly.
Just be seen doing your thing, staying relaxed.
People watch, man, especially here.
If they see you unfazed, it’ll start to undercut whatever story she’s selling.
And if you casually mention hanging with your girlfriends without getting defensive, people will figure out who’s really trying to stir up drama.” Allen thought about it for a second, slowly nodding.
“I guess that could work.
Keep it low-key, show them I’m not bothered.
If I act like everything’s fine, it’ll make her look like she’s the one reaching.” “Exactly,” Gerry agreed, snapping his fingers for emphasis.
“We don’t need to fight fire with fire.
Just let her burn herself out.
People will catch on when they realize you’re just living your life, while she’s the one obsessing.” Allen leaned forward, rubbing his hands together.
“Alright, so what’s next?
Just act like nothing’s wrong?” “Yup!
But…” A mischievous grin spread across Gerry’s face.
“We need to sell your story more.” He leaned in closer, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial tone.

“Announce that you’re happy with your girlfriends, let it spread, and then just let her burn!” He chuckled to himself, a wicked glint in his eyes, as if the plan was some masterstroke of social manipulation.
Allen raised an eyebrow, momentarily stunned by Gerry’s enthusiasm.
Mark shot Gerry a sideways glance, his expression somewhere between amusement and confusion.
They both stared at Gerry in silence, letting the moment hang awkwardly.
Gerry, realizing he might have overplayed his hand, quickly cleared his throat and straightened up, attempting to recover his composure.
“Right, right,” Gerry said, waving off his own comment with a sheepish chuckle.
“Maybe not evil genius levels of planning, but, you know… subtle.” Allen smirked, shaking his head.
“You sounded like a villain there for a second.” Gerry grinned.
“Hey, I got caught up in the moment.
But seriously, the goal here is to control the narrative without looking like you’re trying.
People love stories, right?
So let’s give them the truth in a way that makes it clear you’re not sweating any of this.
The more you look like you’re living your best life, the more ridiculous Sophia’s rumors are gonna sound.” Mark, who had been mostly quiet until now, nodded thoughtfully.
“I get what you’re saying, Gerry.
You’re not trying to fight her, just outclass her.” “Exactly!” Gerry snapped his fingers again.
“It’s like a passive-aggressive checkmate.” Mark nodded, glancing at his watch before standing up.
“I’ve gotta go, but I’ll help where I can.
You guys figure out the rest, and let me know if you need anything.” He shot them both a quick smile and grabbed his gym bag.
“Thanks, Mark.
Appreciate it, man,” Allen said, giving him a wave.
Gerry echoed the sentiment with a nod of gratitude.
The three exchanged brief goodbyes before Mark headed out, leaving Allen and Gerry alone on the gym bench.
Allen fell into an unusual silence, his gaze distant.
Gerry noticed and turned to him, his expression softening.
“Alright, spill it.
What’s on your mind?
You’ve been quiet since Mark left.” Allen exhaled slowly, leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees.
“The car,” he said, his voice low and thoughtful.
“Something about it doesn’t sit right with me.” Gerry furrowed his brow, shifting on the bench to face Allen more directly.
“The car?
What, you think it’s not Liam or Darren?
Or the HotGF guy?” Allen shook his head, still deep in thought.
“Somehow, I feel like it wasn’t any of them.
It just… doesn’t add up.” He turned to Gerry, his face creased with uncertainty.
“I don’t know, I just have this weird feeling about it.” Gerry raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued.
“Then who?
You have a guess?” Allen sat there, his mind racing.
After a few beats of silence, Allen finally spoke.
“I have someone else in mind…
but I’m not sure.” “Who?” Gerry leaned in, clearly interested now.
Allen hesitated, his lips pressing together in a thin line before he spoke again.
“Vivian once told me that Sophia was approaching someone-some high-level staff at the agency.
I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now…
I don’t know.
Maybe it’s him.” Gerry’s eyes widened slightly.
“A high-level staff member?
You mean like someone at your dad’s company?” he asked, his voice laced with surprise.
Allen shook his head, cutting the thought short.
“No, not from my dad’s company.” He paused, gathering his thoughts before continuing.
“From the modeling agency.” Gerry blinked, taking a moment to catch up.
“You mean Urban Enigma?” he asked, his tone shifting, now more serious as the pieces started to come together in his mind.
Allen nodded, his expression tight with uncertainty.
“Yeah, Urban Enigma.
But unfortunately, I don’t know who exactly.” He rubbed his temples.
“Vivian just mentioned it in passing once.
Something about how Sophia was cozying up to someone high up at the agency, but she didn’t have any specifics.
It might be an older guy.
Forbidden, maybe.” Allen exhaled.
“That’s why Sophia hid it well.” Gerry was silent for a moment, digesting what Allen had just said.
His brows furrowed, and after a few seconds, he let out a low whistle.
“You know… you’re really dealing with a mad woman,” he said, shaking his head in disbelief.
