Chapter 1142: Bully Chapter 1142: Bully Villain Ch 1142.
Bully Without a second thought, the Devil Emperor tossed Otis’ lifeless body aside like discarded trash.
It hit the floor with a sickening thud, rolling lifelessly across the cold stone.
The room seemed to freeze.
For a moment, he didn’t move, couldn’t think.
All he could do was stare at Otis’ body.
The Devil Emperor’s cold laughter broke the silence once again.
He sat back on the throne, a twisted grin spreading across his face as he gazed at Zael with a look of pure satisfaction.
“I must say, Zael, this has been quite the spectacle.” The Devil Emperor’s voice was casual, almost amused, as if he were talking about a particularly entertaining play.
He leaned forward slightly, eyes gleaming with that same cruel amusement.
“Your brother… What a disappointment.
So much ambition, but absolutely no power to back it up.
Pathetic, really.” He paused, letting his words sink in.
Then his gaze shifted, and a sly smile crept across his face.
“But you… you’re different.” Zael clenched his fists.
His breath was ragged.
The emperor stepped down from the throne, casually approaching Zael with slow, deliberate steps.
His presence was overpowering and there was something darkly magnetic about him.
“Join me, Zael,” the Devil Emperor said, his voice lowering to a more intimate tone.
“We’re the same, you and I.
You’ve seen the truth now, haven’t you?
The kingdom doesn’t deserve your loyalty.
Your father, your brother-dead.
They were always weak, always holding you back.” He extended his hand, his dark eyes locking onto Zael’s.
“I will give you power, Zael.
Real power.
All you have to do… is take my hand.” Allen was in a bind.
If he agreed too quickly, he’d be breaking character-Zael, the noble warrior, wouldn’t just give in to temptation, no matter how dire the situation.
But at the same time, Allen wanted to finish this fast.
‘Nope, at least I need to give him some fight.’ Zael shook his head, his grip tightening around the hilt of his sword.

“I’m nothing like you,” he spat, his voice filled with defiance.
“I won’t become a monster just to survive.” The Devil Emperor’s smirk didn’t falter.
He took another step closer, almost looming over Zael now.
“Really?
Even after everything you’ve seen?
After all the betrayal, the lies?
You’d rather die a broken man than rise above it all?” Zael didn’t answer.
He could barely hold himself upright.
‘Not like this… Not ever…’ The emperor’s expression darkened slightly.
“I see,” he said softly, almost disappointed.
Then, in a blur of movement, he reached out and grabbed Zael by the collar, yanking him forward with frightening ease.
Zael’s body was too weak to fight back, but he still gritted his teeth and tried to lift his sword.
“I won’t…” he started to say, but the words were cut off as the emperor effortlessly knocked the weapon from his grasp with a flick of his hand.
The sword clattered uselessly to the floor.
The Devil Emperor chuckled, a low, menacing sound.
“You’re weak, Zael.
You can’t even stand, let alone fight me.” He tossed Zael to the ground like a rag doll, watching as he struggled to get up.
Zael forced himself to his knees, refusing to stay down.
“Stand down,” the emperor said, almost bored.
“There’s no point in fighting me.
You can’t win.” But Zael wasn’t listening.
With a grimace of pain, he reached for his sword again, his fingers trembling as they wrapped around the hilt.
He managed to stand, though just barely, swaying on his feet.
“I’ll… never join you,” Zael gasped, raising his sword with trembling hands.
The emperor’s eyes narrowed, and for a moment, there was a flicker of something like annoyance in his gaze.
“Very well.
If that’s how you want it…” In an instant, the emperor moved.
His hand shot out, grabbing Zael by the throat and lifting him off the ground.
Zael gasped, his grip on the sword loosening as his airways constricted.
The strength in the emperor’s grip was immense, and Zael’s body, already weakened, couldn’t fight against it.
“You’re a fool, Zael,” the emperor snarled, his voice dripping with contempt.
“You had the chance to be something greater, but you chose to stay weak.
You chose to die.” With the last bit of strength he had, Zael swung his sword, aiming for the emperor’s arm.
But the strike was weak, pitiful.
The blade barely made contact before it slipped from Zael’s grasp entirely, clattering to the floor once again.
The emperor barely reacted, his hold on Zael tightening as a dark smile spread across his face.
“Is that all you’ve got?” he taunted, his voice filled with cruel amusement.
“You’re not even worth killing.” With a flick of his wrist, the emperor threw Zael to the ground again.
Zael hit the stone floor hard, the impact rattling through his already battered body.
He lay there, gasping for breath, barely able to move.
The Devil Emperor loomed over him, his eyes cold and calculating, like a predator toying with its prey.
“You see, Zael, I don’t need to kill you.
I’ve already won.
You’ve lost everything.
Your friends are dead.
Your kingdom has abandoned you.” Zael lay on the cold stone floor, gasping for breath.
He could barely move.
“No…” Zael croaked weakly, his voice barely audible.
The Devil Emperor let out an amused chuckle, shaking his head as though disappointed.
“You’re very stubborn, aren’t you?
I have to admit, I admire your persistence.
But let’s be honest-what are you even holding on to?
What’s left for you?” The emperor bent down, his face inches from Zael’s.
His cold eyes flickered with twisted delight.
“Is it because you’re afraid of losing the ‘blessing’ in your blood?
The one your father always told you about?” The Devil Emperor smirked, clearly enjoying Zael’s stunned silence.
“Oh, yes.
That precious ‘blessing’ your father always mentioned.” He grabbed a fistful of Zael’s hair, jerking his head up painfully so their eyes met.
“Let me tell you something.
It was all a lie.
There’s no blessing in your blood.
Your father made it up because he wanted to control you.
He wanted you to be loyal to him-like a dog.” “W-What…?” Zael’s voice was barely a whisper, a mix of disbelief and shock.
It was clear he had lived his entire life believing he was chosen, that his blood carried something sacred.
And now, to hear this…
