Chapter 1147: Hijack Chapter 1147: Hijack Villain Ch 1147.
Hijack Emma’s playful smirk faltered slightly, but only for a moment.
She sighed dramatically and raised her hands in mock surrender.
“Fine, fine,” she muttered, pressing her lips into a thin line.
“Just scold me.
Do whatever you need to do.
I’m ready.
I know I need to face it.” Allen and Kafra both shook their heads in unison, exasperation clear in their faces.
Emma had always been a handful, but this?
This was on another level.
It wasn’t just about a sibling squabble or a small in-game stunt.
It was the fact that she had thrown herself into the middle of an event that had been planned, without any regard for the fallout.
She seemed ready for the consequences, yes, but her nonchalant attitude about the whole thing only made it worse.
Allen could feel his energy draining just thinking about it.
The event itself had already been exhausting, and now this-dealing with Emma’s antics.
It was too much.
He turned to Kafra, his shoulders sagging slightly.
“Can I leave this matter to you?” he asked, his voice flat.
“I don’t want to waste any more energy on this.
Half of my energy has already been spent on the event and the shock it created.” Kafra shot him a look, her eyebrows raised, but after a beat, she nodded.
She understood.
Allen was the one responsible for making sure the event went smoothly, and now that everything had gone sideways, he had every right to feel drained.
“Fine,” she muttered, her eyes snapping back to Emma with the force of a hurricane.
“I’ll handle it.” Allen exhaled slowly.
He glanced at Emma, who looked like she was preparing herself for a barrage of scolding.
Part of him wanted to stay, to make sure she really understood how much trouble she had caused, but another part of him just wanted to log off and disappear for a while.
Emma, sensing his gaze, turned and grinned at him, though there was a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes now.
“What?
You’re really not going to yell at me?” she asked, tilting her head.
“I thought you’d be the one to get mad, not Kafra.” Allen shook his head, his expression unreadable.

“I don’t have the energy to get mad at you right now, Emma.
Besides…” He paused for a moment, “I think you know exactly how badly you screwed up.
And no amount of yelling from me is going to make that clearer.” Emma smiled dryly, her usual cockiness somewhat muted but still present.
“Yeah, I’m aware of that,” she admitted, her voice quieter than before.
She glanced away for a moment, then back at Allen, her lips twisting into a mischievous smirk.
“But those kicks and punches?
Those were personal.
I might never get that chance again, you know.” Allen just sighed, shaking his head again.
This was a dead-end case.
He knew when to stop pushing with Emma-she was as stubborn as they came, and no amount of lecturing or guilt was going to get through to her at this point.
She’d done what she wanted, and now she was ready to face whatever consequences were coming her way.
“Fine,” Allen muttered, turning away from her and toward Kafra, who still looked like she was barely holding herself back from ripping into Emma.
“I’m leaving this in your hands, Kafra.
I’ll go back now.” With that, Allen was about to open his portal, ready to return to his base and just… breathe.
But before he could step through it, Kafra flicked her wrist and teleported him.
The next thing he knew, he was standing in the Cursed Crypts, but not at the gates like he expected.
No, this was somewhere else-the meeting room his group used when they needed to strategize.
And just like Emma before, he was on the table.
The sudden shift in location jarred him, but what really threw him off was the look of shock on the girls’ faces sitting around the table.
They all stared at him with wide eyes as if he’d just appeared out of thin air, which, in a way, he had.
“Well, that’s a bold way to enter,” Vivian said with a raised eyebrow, her voice tinged with amusement.
She leaned back in her chair, folding her arms across her chest as her red eyes sparkled with curiosity.
“Care to explain, Allen?
Or should I call you Zael?” Bella smirked as she leaned on the table.
“Yeah, what’s up with that entrance?
Are you trying to mimic Emma or something?” Allen blinked.
“It wasn’t exactly my choice,” he said, shaking off the confusion.
“Kafra teleported me here.
Without warning.” “Oh, Kafra,” Larissa said, her voice laced with sympathy as she exchanged a knowing glance with Jane.
“She was probably pissed, wasn’t she?” “Pissed doesn’t even cover it,” Allen replied, running a hand through his hair as he let out a deep sigh.
“She’s dealing with Emma now.” “Emma?” Zoe chimed in, her eyes narrowing with interest.
“So, it was indeed her doing.” Allen sighed and nodded.
“Yeah, typical of her.
She decided to hijack the event just to mess with me.” He couldn’t help but shake his head, his expression caught somewhere between exasperation and amusement.
“Apparently, it was all just so she could have the chance to kick me around and torture me.” The girls exchanged glances, each of them reacting in their own way to the ridiculousness of the situation.
Shea leaned forward, her lips curling into a smirk.
“That does sound like Emma.” Allen raised one of his eyebrows.
“How do you guys find out about this?” “We noticed something was off in the middle of the event.
The script didn’t go according to what you told us.
The Devil Emperor wasn’t supposed to be there, but then-bam-he suddenly shows up, out of nowhere,” Jane said.
Vivian nodded, crossing her legs as she leaned back in her chair.
“We were confused at first, but the moment we remembered Emma’s smile…
yeah, it all clicked.
We figured she had to be involved somehow.” “Turned out we were right,” Jane added, her voice tinged with amusement as she tossed a knowing glance at Allen.
Allen could only sigh again, feeling the exhaustion settle in deeper.
“Yeah, that’s my sister for you.” He leaned back, using his Shadow Step to teleport himself into his usual chair with a smooth, almost effortless motion.
His shadowy figure flickered before solidifying in place.
“But have you all noticed it too?
The way the event played out?
It didn’t just feel like Emma was messing around.
The whole thing ended up…
different.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
