Chapter 1153: Fun Hunt Chapter 1153: Fun Hunt Villain Ch 1153.
Fun Hunt A Demon-Bear <Level 135> lumbered out of the trees, shaking the ground with heavy steps.
Its fur bristled with demonic energy, and its sharp claws gleamed under the faint sunlight.
“Alright, now this one looks like it might actually be fun,” Bella said with a grin, activating her new skill, Wind Blade Fury.
Wind blades spun around her in a whirlwind, slashing through the air toward the bear.
[Wind Blade Fury activated.]Â [You hit Demon-Bear for 7,000 HP.] The bear roared in pain, its huge paws swinging wildly as it tried to retaliate, but Shea was already in the air, wings spread wide.
She activated Tornado Dive, sending a funnel of wind and razor-sharp feathers crashing down onto the bear’s back.
[Tornado Dive activated.
You hit Demon-Bear for 8,423 HP.] “So, how’s everyone feeling about hunting something that doesn’t involve the undead for once?” Vivian asked.
There was something mischievous in her tone, but then again, there always was.
“Honestly, after that mess in the Abyssal Rift, this feels more like a nature walk than an actual battle,” Shea chuckled, her expression relaxed.
“You know, for a ‘fun hunt,’ this is actually kind of relaxing,” Bella said with a laugh.
“And it’s a nice way to test our new skills and chat around.” “I agree,” Larissa chimed in.
“Honestly, it’s kinda nice to fight something that doesn’t reek of decay.” Zoe turned her attention to Allen, eyebrow raised.
“Why don’t you use your new skill, Allen?
Or are you saving it for something bigger?” Allen smirked, shaking his head.
“My new skill’s an area-of-effect attack.
Using it on something like this would be like swatting a fly with a bazooka.
Besides, it’d be too easy.
Where’s the fun in that?” “Well, more for us then,” chirped Vivian lightly.
They continued deeper into the forest and chatted around.
The atmosphere was more relaxed now.
The forest’s vibrant colors surrounded them-deep greens, reds, and purples blending with the strange monsters they encountered along the way.
Despite the dangerous creatures’ presence, the forest had a surreal beauty that made the whole hunt feel almost…
peaceful.
“You think Mila’s actually gonna break away from Noah and James?” Vivian asked, glancing over at Allen.
Allen sighed, running a hand through his hair as he thought about it.
“I really hope so.
She seems like she’s finally seeing things for what they are, but it’s hard to break away from people like that.
Especially when they’ve been controlling you for so long.” “Yeah, but she’s strong.

I mean, she stood up for Zael in the end.
That takes guts,” Shea added.
“I just want her to realize she’s worth more than being their pawn,” Allen continued, his voice a bit softer now.
“She deserves better.
She’s not just some tool they can use for their own gain.” Vivian gave him a curious look, a knowing smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.
“And what about you, Allen?
How do you feel about her?” Her tone was playful but laced with genuine curiosity.
Before Allen could even begin to form an answer, a loud screech filled the air, cutting through the peaceful moment.
A swarm of Hellbats descended from the trees, their sharp wings cutting through the air as they charged toward the group.
Without missing a beat, Alice raised her hand and activated her new skill, Void Sphere.
A swirling orb of darkness formed in the air above them, quickly expanding and engulfing the entire group of Hellbats in a wave of void energy.
The screeching stopped instantly as the Hellbats were crushed in the blink of an eye.
[Void Sphere activated.]Â [You hit Hellbats for 5,400 HP.] “Okay, this place is easy, but a bit annoying,” Alice huffed, lowering her hand as the Void Sphere dissipated.
“Those monsters are restless!” Jane shook her head, a smirk on her lips.
“There are no other players besides us.
They all will come to us.
What do you expect?” “Yeah, but still, it’s kinda boring,” Zoe shrugged, twirling her blade between her fingers absentmindedly.
“They only give us low EXP.” “Wanna change the place?” Allen suggested, glancing around.
Even though this was his idea, he had to admit-it was a bit underwhelming.
Before anyone could answer, a strange sound echoed, making them all pause.
It wasn’t the typical growl of a monster or the rustling of leaves.
No, this was something different.
Something…
off.
It was the sound of bells.
“What’s that?” Zoe asked, narrowing her eyes as she scanned the horizon, her body tensing.
The group stopped, turning toward the source of the sound.
A shadow moved in the bushes just ahead, disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.
“It’s coming from over there,” Larissa said, pointing toward a dense thicket up ahead.
The bells rang again, louder and clearer this time.
“Something’s not right…” Vivian muttered, her voice low and cautious.
Bella tilted her head, listening closely.
“Should we check it out?” she asked, glancing at the others.
Jane didn’t hesitate, her voice filled with impatience.
“Of course, we should check it out!
I’m bored to the bone here.
If there’s something interesting about this place, then I have to find it.” Larissa sighed, his tone more cautious.
“Jane, don’t be reckless.
We don’t know what it is.” Jane waved her off, her excitement already taking over.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this!” she said as she marched ahead, brushing aside the dense bushes without a second thought.
The rest of the group followed behind her, though they weren’t nearly as eager.
Jane pushed through the undergrowth.
The anticipation built up, but when they finally reached the other side, there was…
nothing.
Just more trees and shadows.
“Disappointing,” Jane muttered, her shoulders dropping in frustration.
Just as the group was about to turn back, the sound of bells echoed again.
This time, it was louder, clearer.
Their heads snapped toward the deeper part of the forest.
The strange, shadowy figure appeared again, lurking behind a thick tree before darting away, disappearing into the shadows once more.
