Chapter 1157: Not A Tragic Story Arc Chapter 1157: Not A Tragic Story Arc Villain Ch 1157.
Not A Tragic Story Arc Shea raised an eyebrow, though her expression was more amused than anything else.
“Well, this escalated quickly.
Guess that tragic story arc isn’t happening.” “Looks like it’s more of a mischievous arc now,” Alice chimed in with a smirk, glancing at Bella’s hand.
“You alright, Bella?
Your younger self just took a bite out of you.” Bella shook her hand out, grimacing slightly but clearly more annoyed than hurt.
“I’m fine.
Just pissed.” She glared at the spot where the fox had disappeared, her frustration palpable.
“That little brat’s gonna pay for that.” Allen crossed his arms, trying to mask his amusement.
“Well, looks like this quest isn’t what I thought it would be.” Before anyone could respond, Bella turned to face the group, and they could practically see the fire in her eyes.
“Then what are we waiting for?
Let’s get her!” she declared, her voice filled with determination.
Without waiting for the others to agree, she lunged forward, sprinting in the direction the fox had fled.
“Uh… what about that ‘poor thing’?
Weren’t you the one who said the creature looked innocent?” Alice called after her, but Bella didn’t seem to hear-or care.
“Well, it looks like she’s in rage mode now,” Vivian said with a cringe, watching Bella charge ahead like a woman on a mission to uncover her boyfriend affair.
Allen sighed but couldn’t help but smirk.
“Let’s follow her.
We need to make sure she doesn’t get herself trapped or something.” He motioned for the rest of the group to follow, and they immediately took off behind Bella, trying to keep up with her relentless pace.
Every few moments, the sound of bells would ring out, leading them deeper into the forest.
Each time Bella heard the sound, she turned toward it with a ferocious intensity, her eyes gleaming with determination.
She didn’t wait for the fox to make another move-she unleashed her thunderbolt skill in the direction of the sound.
But, as if mocking them, the little fox always managed to escape.
The creature was fast, and no matter how hard Bella tried, the fox slipped through her attacks every time.
“She’s really taking this personal, huh?” Shea observed, raising an eyebrow as she jogged alongside the group.
“Yeah, definitely,” Larissa added, her voice tinged with concern.
“I’ve never seen her like this before.
It’s like she’s completely flipped a switch.” “Well, that thing did bite her,” Zoe said with a shrug.
“I’d be pissed too.” “Still, I wonder what that fox said about demonic energy and all that stuff.
What if it was a lie?” Shea asked, her tone thoughtful as they continued to follow Bella’s lead.

Zoe scoffed, rolling her eyes.
“Of course it lied.
It bit Bella and ran off laughing.
That thing’s as sneaky as they come.” The forest around them seemed to darken as they pressed on, the air growing heavier with every step.
The bells continued to ring out, but this time, there was something different.
The fox wasn’t leading them in circles anymore.
It was guiding them toward a different path, one that felt darker, more ominous.
Allen was the first to notice.
“Bella, hold up!” he called out, quickening his pace to catch up to her.
“That thing seems to be taking us somewhere new.
Be careful!
This could be a trap.” Bella didn’t respond right away, too focused on chasing after the fox.
But after a moment, she slowed down, her expression shifting from blind rage to something more cautious.
She glanced back at Allen and the others, realizing that they were no longer in familiar territory.
The trees around them were taller, their branches gnarled and twisted in unnatural ways.
A thick fog had started to roll in, obscuring their vision and making it harder to see what lay ahead.
“This doesn’t feel right,” Larissa muttered, glancing around warily.
“It’s like the forest itself is changing.” “Of course it doesn’t feel right,” Vivian said, her voice edged with sarcasm.
“We’re being led by a demon fox with a bad attitude.
What could possibly go wrong?” Bella gritted her teeth, clenching her fists as she scanned the fog-covered landscape.
“I don’t care where she’s leading us.
That little brat bit me, and she’s not getting away with it.” “You know, maybe that fox was corrupted by something else,” Alice suggested, her tone a bit more thoughtful now.
“It said something about demonic energy corrupting it.
What if it wasn’t lying?” “Or it’s just playing us,” Zoe said, her skepticism clear.
“I don’t trust anything that laughs while biting someone.” Before anyone could add more to the discussion, the bells chimed again, louder this time, and much closer.
The group tensed, their eyes darting in the direction of the sound.
“There!” Bella shouted, pointing toward the fog as the shadow of the fox flickered in and out of sight.
Without a second thought, Bella unleashed another thunderbolt, the crackling energy tearing through the fog toward the creature.
“Die!” Bella hissed, her voice filled with raw frustration.
The lightning struck the ground, illuminating the area for a split second-but, as if it had anticipated the move, the fox dodged the attack with ease, its sly laughter echoing through the trees.
The attack had barely scratched the fox, leaving only a faint scorch mark on the ground.
The creature paused for a brief moment, taunting her with another soft, mischievous laugh before it dashed off into the mist again.
Alice stepped forward, shaking her head.
“Hey, that thing is the younger version of you.
Don’t kill it.
Have some empathy!” Bella spun around, her face twisted in a weird grin that made everyone pause for a moment.
“That’s exactly why I need to give her a lesson,” she said, her tone ominous.
“Because it’s the younger version of me.
If I don’t teach her a few things now, she’ll end up worse off.” “Uh…
that’s kind of twisted logic,” Shea muttered as she kept her distance from Bella’s current mood.
