Chapter 1168: Wine Chocolate Chapter 1168: Wine Chocolate Villain Ch 1168.
Wine Chocolate He went through half a dozen scenarios in his mind, debating on flowers versus chocolate.
‘Too late for flowers,’ he realized that he would have a hard time finding a flower shop at this hour.
Then, a thought struck him.
‘Chocolate will do the work,’ he remembered.
‘Just not the cheap stuff.’ He glanced at the clock and grimaced.
Not a lot of options left, but he’d figure something out.
He went out of the room.
Once he headed down the stairs, Kai noticed him immediately.
Kai’s calm but watchful gaze followed Allen, his lips twitching into a faint smile.
“And where are you off to tonight, sir?” “Heading over to my girlfriend’s place,” Allen replied, giving a casual wave as he reached the bottom step.
Kai arched his brow.
“And which girlfriend would that be this time?” “Bella,” Allen said, smirking.
“Figured I’d rescue her from whatever crisis she’s wrapped up in.
Plus, she could use some cheering up.” Kai’s expression softened.
“Will you be staying over?” Allen shook his head, though he hadn’t entirely ruled it out in his mind.
“Probably not,” he replied with a half-shrug.
“Didn’t bring a change of clothes, but I’ll let you know if plans change.” “Understood.” Kai’s tone was polite, yet Allen noticed a slight edge of concern.
“Please turn on your motorbike’s location tracking as well as your phone’s, sir.
Given the time, we’d best know where you are.
Just in case,” he added, his eyes briefly scanning Allen, as though double-checking he was really prepared.
Allen stifled a laugh, nodding.
“Yeah, yeah, I’ll turn them on.
Last thing I need is some kind of search party.” Kai inclined his head in agreement.
“Thank you, sir.
Enjoy your night.” He went to the garage.
With a steady hand, he swung his leg over the bike.
The low rumble of the engine as he turned the key was like music, a low, powerful hum that vibrated through his chest.
His phone pinged with a message from Bella.
“I’m counting down!” He rolled his eyes but couldn’t help the smirk tugging at his lips.

“Alright, let’s make this count.” The engine roared to life, cutting through the silence as he revved the throttle.
Late-night rides like this were rare but had their own appeal-the quiet, the cool air, the feeling of freedom as he’d cruise down the empty streets.
With his helmet in hand, he gave the bike a quick check before mounting, turning on the location tracking as promised.
The streets were bathed in dim, amber light from street lamps, casting a serene glow over the quiet city.
Allen caught the occasional flash of nightlife-the last lingering patrons leaving restaurants, a few groups laughing outside bars, the distant hum of the city sounds blending into the night’s calm.
He enjoyed the late-night rides; there was something liberating about weaving through the city streets with nothing but his thoughts and the road ahead.
And tonight, the mission was simple.
Wine chocolate.
He knew exactly the type he was looking for-something a bit upscale, indulgent, and worth the trip out at this hour.
A few days back, he’d accompanied Emma and Azura while they shopped, and he’d spotted a small wine shop with premium chocolates near one of the upscale clubs.
If they were still open, it would be the perfect place.
Pulling up outside the shop, Allen noticed the lights were still on.
Luck was on his side.
He parked his bike and made his way in, the faint smell of wine and dark chocolate welcoming him as he entered.
The shop was warm, with dim, cozy lighting that gave it a sophisticated, inviting feel.
A staff member approached him with a polite smile, clearly surprised to see a customer at this late hour.
“Good evening, sir.
Can I help you with anything?” she asked.
“Yeah, actually,” Allen replied, glancing around.
“I’m looking for chocolate-specifically wine chocolates.
Do you have a section for that?” The staff member nodded and gestured for him to follow.
“Of course.
We have a chocolate corner just here.
Some options contain alcohol, and others don’t, depending on your preference.” Allen surveyed the selection with genuine interest.
Boxes of chocolates, wrapped in elegant packaging and lined with intricate designs, filled the shelves.
Each one looked as rich as it did tempting.
He settled on a box adorned with delicate flower motifs, exactly the kind of thing Bella would appreciate.
It had a subtle elegance, the kind of box that wouldn’t just taste good but would also look good displayed in her room for days afterward.
“This one, please,” he said, holding it out to the staff.
“Could you wrap it?” “Of course,” she replied, taking the box to the counter.
She began carefully wrapping the box in a soft, tissue-lined paper before adding a neat bow.
Then, Allen’s gaze wandered over the rest of the selection, lingering on a small, square box with a goofy smiley face printed on each chocolate.
They were almost obnoxiously cheerful, with that grin plastered across each piece.
A chuckle escaped him, the sight unexpectedly reminding him of Emma.
The image of her wide grin and teasing look flashed in his mind, and he smirked to himself.
It felt oddly fitting-if there was ever a chocolate that matched Emma’s mischievous spirit, this was it.
‘Well, she’s probably still being grilled by Dad right now,’ he thought, picking up the smiley-faced box.
Jordan had looked serious, and Allen doubted the lecture had ended.
He could already imagine Emma, all nerves and forced apologies.
A sigh escaped him, and a faint pang of sympathy surfaced.
She’d messed up, sure, but seeing her in that state earlier had been strange-just enough to remind him that, despite everything, she was still his little sister.
“Guess I can be a softie for five minutes,” he muttered, grabbing the box and adding it to his purchase pile.
Once the wine chocolates were wrapped, and he had the extra box for Emma stowed in a bag, Allen made his way back to the bike, strapping the bag securely. CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Thank you for the Dragon, Leech_95!
