Chapter 1174: The High-class World Chapter 1174: The High-class World Villain Ch 1174.
The High-class World In the same restaurant, but a different place, Sophia sat across from Mr.
Bell, the ambient lighting casting a soft glow over their table.
The plates in front of them were empty, and the rich aroma of the evening’s meal still lingered.
She glanced at the nearly empty wine glass in front of her.
Tonight was going better than she could have hoped.
“Cheers,” Mr.
Bell said, lifting his glass with a smile that hinted at the things left unsaid between them.
Sophia smiled back, lifting her glass and clinking it gently against his.
She took a small sip, savoring the taste of the wine and the satisfaction of a successful evening.
Whether it was the food, the wine, or the thought of her slowly blossoming influence over Mr.
Bell, she felt a sense of victory.
This was the high-class world she craved, and she was getting closer to making it her own.
Mr.
Bell looked at her, his gaze appreciative yet guarded.
She could tell he was holding himself back, keeping a line that still respected his marriage.
But Sophia knew how these things went.
That line, so carefully guarded, would eventually blur.
She’d seen the signs-the way he had his driver pick her up from the gym, citing “work matters,” the thoughtful gifts he’d started sending her, and this private dinner in a restaurant where they wouldn’t be easily spotted.
They hadn’t crossed any overt lines yet, but she could sense the potential.
She knew how to bide her time, and her patience had always paid off before.
Right now, no one knew about their little arrangement, not even Vivian, and that was exactly how she preferred it.
If things went as she planned, she would eventually have her stability-something that Mr.
Bell’s influence and connections could easily provide.
And maybe, just maybe, she could even get him to end things with his wife.
“Everything alright?” Mr.
Bell asked, noticing the thoughtful look on her face.
His voice was smooth, practiced, and held that steady, comforting tone she’d come to expect from a man who always knew what he wanted.
“Oh, absolutely,” Sophia replied, giving him a sweet, reassuring smile.
“I was just thinking how nice this evening is.” He chuckled, leaning back in his chair as he relaxed into the conversation.

“Well, you deserve it, Sophia.
You’ve been doing amazing work at the agency, and I wanted to thank you for it.” She brushed his compliment aside with a dismissive hand, though she felt a thrill at his words.
“It’s all part of the job,” she replied smoothly, her eyes never leaving his.
“But… Thank you.
This really does mean a lot.” Mr.
Bell replied to her and talked about a lot of things related to the agency as usual.
He mentioned places, meetings, some staff, and names but she didn’t pay much attention to them.
She didn’t care but pretended to care and nodded along the way.
Sophia took another sip of her wine, her mind swirling with thoughts and plans.
She knew she’d chosen wisely when she set her sights on Mr.
Bell.
He had the right balance of wealth, charm, and ambition-qualities that could open doors she’d only dreamed of.
Elio, Liam, Darren… they’d been foolish distractions in comparison, men who could never offer her what she truly wanted.
She smirked to herself, thinking of Liam and Darren in particular.
They’d been useful, sure, but they hadn’t given her the luxury and status she craved.
‘Thank God I chose Mr.
Bell over those two idiots,’ she thought, her lips curving into a subtle smile.
She had no intention of settling for anything less than the best, and with Mr.
Bell, she knew she’d found a man who could give her exactly that.
Why settle for a guy who’d take her on the back of a bike when she could be with a man who owned luxury cars, who could take her to places like this whenever she wanted?
Her thoughts drifted briefly to Allen, his confident smile, his easy charm.
She knew Allen wasn’t exactly lacking in wealth-his bike alone was proof of that, but Allen was young, unpredictable, and, most of all, immune to her usual charms.
He didn’t fall for her tricks like Liam or Darren did, and that irked her.
Still, Allen was a distraction she could indulge in later if she wanted.
For now, Mr.
Bell was her focus.
“Sophia,” Mr.
Bell’s voice brought her back to the present, “I really do appreciate everything you’ve done for the agency.” He reached across the table, covering her hand with his in a way that felt both possessive and promising.
She met his gaze, tilting her head slightly as she spoke in a soft, almost shy tone.
“I’m glad you think so.
I’ve always admired your vision, Mr.
Bell.
It’s inspiring, really.” He gave her a smile, clearly pleased.
“You know, you don’t have to be so formal.
Call me Thomas.” “Thomas,” she echoed, letting the name linger on her lips for a second longer than necessary, watching his reaction carefully.
He looked at her, his expression a mix of admiration and something deeper.
She could see the conflict in his eyes-the battle between loyalty to his wife and the pull he felt toward her.
Sophia knew she was winning that battle, slowly but surely.
“Thank you for tonight, Thomas,” she said softly, her fingers lightly grazing his as she leaned forward, her eyes holding his.
“This… it really means a lot to me.” He cleared his throat, visibly affected by her words, and withdrew his hand, though the hesitation in his movements told her all she needed to know.
“It’s the least I could do,” he replied, but his voice held a hint of tension as if he were fighting something within himself.
‘Perfect,’ she thought, watching him with satisfaction.
‘He’s hooked.’ They finished their wine, and she savored the quiet triumph.
She’d already planted the seeds of desire and doubt, and she knew it was only a matter of time before Mr.
Bell’s defenses would crumble completely.
After all, he was only human, and humans had weaknesses.
