Chapter 1213: The Gentleman’s Path Chapter 1213: The Gentleman’s Path Villain Ch 1213.
The Gentleman’s Path “Admit it,” Zoe said, her grin never fading as she ripped through a cluster of tentacles with her Depths’ Grasp skill.
The water around her churned violently, her Kraken-like appendages moving with a precision that bordered on art.
“This dungeon just got way more interesting.” Alice, standing a bit further back, let out a small sigh, her voice flat.
“Yeah, interesting.
Nothing says ‘welcome, dear guests’ like an ambush of creepy sea tentacles.” Another set of tentacles shot out from the wall, aiming for Alice, but she raised her hand with practiced ease.
A dark swirl of energy formed in her palm as she cast Shadow Bind, locking the writhing limbs in place before they could reach her.
The trapped tentacles thrashed helplessly for a moment before she finished them off with a curt nod, sending a Void Sphere spiraling toward them.
It sucked them in, imploded, and left nothing but faint ripples in the water.
Allen let out a long exhale, his lips twitching in a half-smile.
“Right,” he said, his tone calm and steady.
“This kind of trap shouldn’t be a problem for us.” The girls all turned to him, their expressions ranging from skeptical to outright incredulous.
Bella raised an eyebrow, her silver hair shimmering faintly in the bioluminescent light.
“You’re kidding, right?” Allen met her gaze, completely unfazed.
“No,” he said simply, his tone as smooth as ever.
“Follow me.” Before anyone could argue, he began walking forward, his posture relaxed and confident, like he was taking a casual stroll through a park rather than navigating a deathtrap filled with aggressive tentacles.
His dark coat billowed slightly in the current, making him look every bit the composed leader he tried to be.
“Is he serious right now?” Shea whispered, her feathers bristling slightly as she glanced at Larissa.
Larissa smirked, her crimson eyes watching Allen’s steady steps.
“Looks like he’s making a point.
Let’s see how this plays out.” The tentacles reacted immediately to Allen’s movement, their sharp tips darting toward him with a speed that could catch even the most seasoned adventurer off guard.
But Allen didn’t flinch.
Before the first tentacle could get within striking distance, he raised his hand and activated Barrier.
A shimmering dome of dark energy surrounded him, stopping the tentacle in its tracks.
The limb recoiled, but Allen was already on the offensive.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed Telekinesis Blast, a ripple of invisible force that sent the tentacle flying backward.
It slammed into a cluster of others, creating a chain reaction that cleared a path ahead of him.
The group exchanged glances, a mix of awe and irritation flashing across their faces.
“Well,” Vivian said, her voice laced with amusement as she flicked her whip toward a stray tentacle that had ventured too close.
“Someone’s feeling dramatic today.” “Not dramatic,” Allen corrected without looking back.

“Efficient.
Keep up.” Despite their initial doubts, the girls began to follow him, albeit with varying degrees of grumbling.
The tentacles continued their relentless assault, but Allen’s combination of Barrier and Telekinesis Blast kept them at bay.
The group moved through the chaos with an almost unsettling ease, their footsteps-if they could be called that in the water-calm and measured.
“This is so weird,” Jane muttered under her breath.
“We’re in the middle of a dungeon, surrounded by tentacle traps, and somehow it feels like we’re out for a Sunday stroll.” “Welcome to the Allen Experience,” Zoe quipped, her tentacles slicing through a stray enemy that had managed to avoid Allen’s range.
“Calm, confident, and slightly smug.” “Don’t forget effective,” Larissa added with a smirk.
“I’m not complaining if it gets us through this mess.” As they moved deeper into the ruins, the environment around them began to shift.
The crumbled walls gave way to larger, more intact structures, their surfaces etched with intricate patterns that glowed faintly in the dim light.
The floor, which had been uneven and rocky before, now smoothed out into wide, flat tiles, each one marked with strange symbols that pulsed faintly under their feet.
The air-or water, rather-felt heavier, like the pressure of the depths had intensified along with the ominous energy of the place.
“This place feels…
wrong,” Shea murmured, her wings trembling slightly.
“Like it’s watching us.” “It probably is,” Larissa said, her crimson eyes scanning the area.
Her blood-red blade hovered at the ready, a silent warning to whatever dared to show itself.
“Let’s just get this over with.” Ahead of them, the passage widened into what could only be described as a grand chamber-or at least, it had been grand once.
Now it was a chaotic mess.
Broken columns leaned precariously, and the walls bore deep gouges as if some massive creature had torn through them in a fit of rage.
Despite the destruction, one thing stood out: a throne at the far end of the chamber, its intricate design crafted entirely of shimmering shells.
Unlike the rest of the room, the throne was pristine, as if someone had just been sitting there moments ago.
“Okay, this is giving me major boss fight vibes,” Bella muttered, her hand twitching toward her elemental conduits.
“Everyone stay sharp.” “Wait-what’s that?” Jane said, pointing toward something near the throne.
Not far from the base of the shell throne was a giant glass bottle.
Inside, a figure floated lifelessly, their body twisted unnaturally.
The group instinctively stopped, their gazes fixed on the eerie sight.
It reminded them of the classic image of a message in a bottle-but instead of a letter, it was a person.
“Is that…?” Alice began, her usually calm voice tinged with unease.
“The prince,” Allen said grimly.
“Or what’s left of him.” “Poor guy,” Shea whispered, her wings folding tightly against her back.
“This must be who those mermaids were talking about.” “Typical dungeon drama,” Vivian said, rolling her eyes.
“Rescue the prince?
Nope, he’s already dead.
Thanks, dungeon.” But Zoe’s expression was anything but somber.
Her grin widened, her tentacles curling with excitement.
“Let me guess,” she said, her voice dripping with self-assured amusement.
“The one who was sitting on that throne?
That was the past me.
Before I met the Devil Emperor.” Vivian raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms.
