Chapter 1228: Unwanted Intrusions Chapter 1228: Unwanted Intrusions Villain Ch 1228.
Unwanted Intrusions He reached for his laptop and started browsing, his fingers moving quickly over the keyboard.
The soft glow of the screen illuminated his face as he searched for something unique, something that screamed Zoe.
It didn’t take long before he stumbled upon an idea.
“Couple bracelets.” The design was subtle-nothing overly romantic or flashy.
Just a simple set of matching leather bands with a tiny charm that could be engraved.
One charm was shaped like a trident, and the other was a wave.
‘Perfect!’ He grinned to himself.
It tied into Zoe’s Kraken Queen persona, but it was also understated enough to fit her style.
She could wear it without anyone suspecting the story behind it.
He clicked Order Now and set it to pick it up in the store.
‘One thing down,’ he thought, leaning back in his chair.
Now he just needed the right place to take her and get the bracelet in the store.
After a bit more digging, he found it: an exclusive VR café.
The place wasn’t just a spot to eat-it was an experience.
High-end food, private booths, and the latest VR equipment for gaming and immersive activities.
It was the perfect mix of fun and comfort, exactly the kind of thing Zoe would appreciate.
He jotted down the details, his excitement growing.
“Alright,” he muttered to himself, closing his laptop.
“Everything’s set.
Now I just need to make my move tomorrow.” —– The next morning, everything started as usual.
Allen was jolted awake by the insistent buzzing of his phone.
He groaned, blindly reaching for it on his nightstand.
“Hello?” he mumbled, his voice groggy.
“Allen,” Gerry’s voice came through, loud and chipper.
“Time to get up, man.
Gym day.” Allen sighed, dragging a hand down his face.
“You couldn’t just let me sleep in for once?” “Nope,” Gerry replied cheerfully.
“You promised consistency, remember?
And you’re not about to skip out on me now.

Get moving.” “Yeah, yeah,” Allen muttered, hanging up and tossing the phone aside.
He stared at the ceiling for a moment before forcing himself out of bed.
His morning routine was quick and simple.
After a shower and a change into his workout clothes, he headed to the kitchen for breakfast.
Two boiled eggs.
Nothing fancy, but it got the job done.
He wolfed them down, grabbed his helmet, and dashed out the door to his motorbike.
The ride to the gym was refreshing, the morning air cool against his skin as he navigated through the quiet streets.
The hum of the engine and the occasional roar as he accelerated cleared his mind, helping him shake off the remnants of sleep.
As expected, Gerry was already at the gym when Allen arrived, standing near the bench press with his arms crossed like a drill sergeant.
“You’re late,” Gerry said, his tone mock-stern as Allen approached.
“Two minutes,” Allen replied, rolling his eyes.
“Relax.” “Two minutes is two minutes,” Gerry shot back, though a grin tugged at his lips.
“Now get warmed up.
We’ve got work to do.” Allen shook his head with a smirk, grabbing his towel and water bottle.
“At least let me put all this stuff in the locker room first, will ya?” “Right, right.” Gerry held up his hands in mock surrender, but the grin didn’t leave his face.
“Can’t have you benching with a helmet and bag strapped to your back.” Allen shook his head but couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at his lips.
That was Gerry, all right-equal parts motivator and pain in the ass.
He walked toward the lockers, his thoughts already shifting to his workout routine.
The gym was quiet this morning, the rhythmic hum of treadmills and occasional clanging of weights blending into the background.
He stowed his belongings, tied his sneakers tighter, and headed back to the main floor.
The familiar scent of rubber mats and faintly lingering sweat greeted him as he met Gerry by the weight bench.
He started his warm-up, the motion smooth and controlled, his body already slipping into its usual rhythm.
Gerry, of course, couldn’t resist making conversation.
“So, did you hear?” Allen glanced at him, not breaking his set.
“Hear what?” “Your ex,” Gerry said, leaning casually against the bench.
“Sophia.
She’s in Larissa’s pilates class now.” Allen frowned, his movements steady and unbroken.
“I thought she said Pilates wasn’t her thing anymore.” “Guess it is now,” Gerry said with a shrug, his grin widening.
“Maybe she doesn’t want to lose.
Or, you know, maybe she’s trying to show she’s not afraid to be in the same building as you or in the same class as Larissa.” Allen huffed, finishing his set and racking the bar.
He sat up and grabbed his water bottle.
“Not my business.
She can take all the Pilates she wants.” “True, true,” Gerry said, nodding.
“But you gotta admit, it’s an interesting timing.” Allen chuckled softly, shaking his head.
“She never learns.” “Well,” Gerry said, leaning forward conspiratorially, “at least the rumors about you worked.” Allen paused mid-sip, raising an eyebrow.
“Which rumors?” Gerry grinned, clearly enjoying himself.
“The ones that say you’re totally over her.
Duh.
Mark’s been spreading it around.
I should buy him a coffee.” Allen laughed, shaking his head.
“I didn’t think you’d be this invested in my love life.” “Hey, man,” Gerry said with mock seriousness, “gotta keep the gym drama alive somehow.
Otherwise, it’s just reps and protein shakes.” Allen rolled his eyes, laying back on the bench for his next set.
But just as he started his reps, Gerry’s grin disappeared.
His gaze fixed on something beyond the weight rack, his expression shifting to uncertainty.
“Is that… Gilbert?” Gerry muttered, his voice barely audible.
He narrowed his eyes and frowned as if he didn’t believe what he saw.
“Huh?” Allen asked, stopping mid-rep.
He followed Gerry’s line of sight toward the lobby.
There, standing in the open doorway, were four people.
Two of them Allen recognized instantly.
Gilbert and Elio.
