Chapter 1235: I Hereby Revoke Your Title of Fun Guy Chapter 1235: I Hereby Revoke Your Title of Fun Guy Villain Ch 1235.
I Hereby Revoke Your Title of Fun Guy Gilbert’s eyes lit up, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
“Oh, a date, huh?
Can I come with you?” “No,” Allen replied flatly, shooting him a look.
“Aw, come on!” Tommy chimed in, leaning against the wall.
“I can order chocolate for your girl.
What’s her favorite?
Dark?
Milk?
Extra sweet?” “And I can arrange a bucket of flowers,” Theodore added, his voice smooth and teasing.
“Roses, daisies, orchids-name it.” Allen turned to them, his brow furrowing as he crossed his arms.
“No.
A date is a date.” Tommy pouted dramatically, throwing his hands up in mock surrender.
“You’re no fun.” “I never said I was,” Allen shot back, his voice laced with sarcasm.
“Gilbert did.” Gilbert gasped in mock betrayal, clutching his chest.
“Fine, then.
I hereby revoke your title of ‘Fun Guy.'” “Oh no,” Allen deadpanned, rolling his eyes.
“I’m absolutely devastated.” The group burst into laughter.
Gilbert smirked, clapping Allen on the back.
“Alright, fine.
We’ll leave you to your ‘serious date.’ But if it’s not as romantic as you’re hyping it up to be, I’m stealing your Fun Guy crown for good.” Allen shrugged, already walking toward the weight rack.
“Have fun with that.” After a few more jabs and farewells, Elio, Theodore, Tommy, and Gilbert finally took their leave.
The gym returned to its usual hum of activity, the earlier scene fading like a dream.
Allen sighed, grabbing a dumbbell and positioning himself for the next set.
“That was something.
I’ve never seen Gilbert look so giddy,” Gerry said, wiping his forehead with a towel as he leaned against the rack.
“Yeah,” Allen smirked, lifting the weights with steady precision.
“He’s worse than a forum troll.” “Well, it looks like things with Elio are… improving,” Gerry said, his voice tinged with curiosity.
“That surprises me.” Allen grunted, setting the weights down and sitting on the bench.
“You’re surprised?
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
I was shocked too.” Gerry raised an eyebrow, leaning forward.
“What changed?
Last I heard, you couldn’t stand the guy.” Allen shrugged, reaching for his water bottle.
“Looks like he’s not as bad as I thought… Maybe.
I don’t know.
I guess I’ve just been annoyed with him for so long that it became a habit.” Allen’s expression darkened slightly as he leaned back, staring at the ceiling.
“He stole my team before, not to mention he had taken Sophia’s side before.” Allen said, his tone clipped.
“It pissed me off.
Made me think he was just another opportunist who’d stab you in the back the second it suited him.” “But it’s all over now, right?” Gerry asked, tilting his head.
“Water under the bridge?” Allen let out a long sigh.
“Just because it’s over doesn’t mean it’s forgotten.
Elio might be trying to play nice now, but that doesn’t mean he’ll just leave.
He’s still the same guy who took advantage when it counted most.” Gerry leaned back against the wall, his brow furrowed.
“Aren’t you overthinking it?” Allen was silent for a moment before he answered.
“Maybe…” He huffed.
“You know me.” Gerry didn’t say anything for a while.
Yeah, he knew Allen’s personality.
“So, what’s the play?
You’re gonna keep your distance?” Allen shook his head, a small smirk playing on his lips.
“Nah.
I’ll let him think we’re cool for now.
He’s not a bad ally to have, and honestly, he’s been less of a pain lately.
But I’m not dropping my guard.
At least I need to make sure he is on my side first.” “Smart,” Gerry said with a nod.
“Keep your friends close and all that.” “Exactly,” Allen replied, picking up the weights again.
“Besides, I’ve got enough on my plate without worrying about him.
Let’s just focus on the workout.
I’ve got a date to prepare for.” Gerry grinned.
“Right.
Let’s make sure you’re in top form for your big romantic evening.” Allen rolled his eyes, but a small smile tugged at his lips.
“It’s lunch.” Gerry, mid-set with a dumbbell, glanced at him with a teasing grin.
“Lunch date?” “Yeah,” Allen replied nonchalantly, grabbing a towel and wiping the sweat off his brow.
Gerry smirked, racking the dumbbell with a loud clang.
“Sounds like something only a broke student would do.” “She is,” Allen said, shrugging.
Gerry froze, his grin fading into an expression of disbelief.
“No kidding…” Allen glanced at him, raising an eyebrow.
“What?
Is that a problem?” Gerry stared at him for a moment before breaking into a laugh.
“A uni student?
Seriously?
How the hell did you even meet her?” Allen chuckled, shaking his head.
“Hell’s Gate?” “Yeah,” Gerry said, sitting back on the bench as he stretched his arms.
“Should I give it a shot?
I mean, seems like half your life revolves around that game.
And apparently, it’s good for getting girlfriends.” Allen raised an eyebrow, pausing as he grabbed his water bottle before giving Gerry a mock-serious look.
Gerry grinned, leaning forward.
“What?
Am I wrong?
Let’s see-Larissa, Jane, Zoe…
Oh, and the others who practically throw themselves at you.
You’ve got your own in-game harem.” Allen nearly choked on his water.
“Okay, first off, that’s not how it works.
Second, coincidence.” “Coincidence?” Gerry scoffed.
“Man, you’ve got the devil’s luck if that’s the case.
I bet I’d die in the training ground before anyone even looked at me.” Allen smirked, shaking his head as he grabbed a nearby dumbbell.
“You’re not wrong.
Training grounds are brutal for new players, especially for people who think they can coast on charm.” “Harsh,” Gerry said, holding a hand to his chest in mock offense.
“But fair.
I’m not exactly a ‘gamer.’ It’s probably for the best.
I’d rage-quit the first time someone smacked me with a level-one fishing rod.” “You would,” Allen said with a laugh.
“It’s not just about the game, though.
People forget it’s a social platform too.
Most of the relationships-good or bad-come from the community.
The game’s just the setting.” Gerry leaned back, his expression thoughtful.
“Social platform, huh?
So, what you’re saying is, I don’t need to be good at it to have a shot.
Just need to be…
charming?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
