Chapter 1243: NOVA LOUNGE Chapter 1243: NOVA LOUNGE Villain Ch 1243.
NOVA LOUNGE The motorcycle roared as Allen weaved smoothly through the city streets, the hum of the engine and the rush of wind filling the space between them.
Zoe clung tightly to his waist, her mind still spinning from everything that had happened.
Dena’s reaction, Allen’s casual smirk-it was all a bit much to process, but in the best way possible.
At a red light, Zoe suddenly straightened, realizing something.
“Oh no, I forgot to text my mom.” Allen glanced back at her over his shoulder, his helmet tilting slightly.
“Don’t worry about it.
Shea already knows.” Zoe blinked in surprise.
“Wait… you told her?” “Of course,” Allen said casually, revving the engine slightly as the light changed.
“How else do you think I knew when your class was over?” “Wow,” Zoe muttered, a mix of amusement and disbelief in her tone.
“You’re way more coordinated with her than I expected.” “It’s called planning,” Allen said, his voice laced with playful sarcasm.
“You should try it sometime.” Zoe playfully smacked his shoulder.
“Very funny.” The engine roared again, and soon they pulled up in front of a sleek, modern building that looked like it had been plucked straight out of a sci-fi movie.
The walls were made of tinted glass, reflecting the neon signs that lined the street, and the entrance was framed by glowing blue panels that gave off a subtle hum.
A large digital display above the doors read “NOVA LOUNGE” in bold, futuristic lettering.
Allen cut the engine and pulled off his helmet, his eyes scanning the building with a satisfied nod.
“This place just opened,” he said as Zoe dismounted and handed back her helmet.
“It’s been getting a lot of buzz among elite gamers.
They’ve got a VR cafe, a game center, and a regular cafe inside.
Figured it might be your kind of place.” Zoe’s eyes sparkled as she took it all in, her earlier nerves replaced by sheer excitement.
“This is amazing!” she said, her voice brimming with energy.
She turned to him, grabbing his hand without even thinking.
“Let’s go in!” Allen smirked, holding her hand a moment longer before leading her toward the entrance.
“You sure?
If you want something more VIP or private, we can do that instead.” “No way,” Zoe said, her grip on his hand tightening.
“This is perfect.” They stepped inside, the doors sliding open with a soft hiss to reveal a sprawling, high-tech interior.
The floor was sleek and polished, reflecting the colorful holograms that floated in midair, advertising everything from VR tournaments to exclusive in-game items.
To the right was the cafe area, filled with modern, pod-like booths and tables, each equipped with built-in screens.
On the left was the game center, alive with the sounds of arcade machines, laughter, and the occasional shout of victory.
Zoe’s gaze darted around, taking in every detail.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
“Wow,” she whispered, her voice full of awe.
“This is… incredible.” Allen watched her reaction, a small smile playing on his lips.
‘Worth it,’ he thought, reaching into his jacket pocket and feeling the small, wrapped gift inside.
He wasn’t ready to give it to her yet-there’d be a better moment for that.
For now, he just wanted her to enjoy this.
“What do you think?” he asked, his tone light.
“Pretty good choice?” “Pretty good?” Zoe said, turning to him with a grin.
“This is perfect.
Seriously, Allen, thank you.” Allen chuckled, gesturing toward the cafe area.
“Let’s eat first.
You can’t play on an empty stomach.” “Fair point,” Zoe said, nodding eagerly.
“Lead the way.” Allen smirked and gestured for her to follow.
They stepped further into the futuristic café inside the place, the polished floors gleaming under soft neon lights that shifted colors every few seconds.
The hum of conversation mixed with the sounds of a nearby game center-laughter, cheering, and the unmistakable clink of digital coins being earned in VR pods.
Holographic displays floated lazily overhead, showcasing the cafe’s menu, game events, and VIP deals.
Zoe’s eyes darted around, taking in every detail.
Along one wall, there were themed booths, each decorated with life-sized holograms of popular in-game characters.
And then she saw it-him.
The booth featuring the Devil Emperor stood out instantly.
Allen’s in-game character was larger than life, his imposing figure recreated with immaculate detail.
The hologram posed dramatically, his sword raised, and dark, swirling energy coiling around him.
Zoe froze, clapping a hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter.
“Oh my God,” she said, her voice muffled.
“I can’t believe this.
C’mon, you have to take a picture with this.” Allen, who had been scanning the room, turned to see what she was looking at.
The moment he spotted the Devil Emperor booth, he groaned.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” “Nope!” Zoe said, her laughter bubbling over as she grabbed his arm and started tugging him toward it.
“This is too good to pass up.
I have to show this to the others.” “Zoe,” Allen said, dragging his feet slightly.
“This is going to be so weird.” “C’mon!” Zoe said, practically bouncing as she pulled him into the booth.
“C’mon, you’re ‘him’.
Own it.” Allen sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Fine.
But if this ends up in some meme compilation in the group chat, I’m blaming you.” Zoe grinned triumphantly, pulling out her phone.
“Deal.
Now stand there and look ominous.” Allen crossed his arms, his expression somewhere between annoyed and resigned.
He stood next to the hologram, mirroring its dramatic pose but with a distinctly done-with-this look on his face.
Zoe snapped the picture, barely holding back another laugh.
“Perfect.
Absolutely perfect.” “Are we done now?” Allen asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Not quite,” Zoe said, her fingers flying over her phone as she sent the picture to their group chat.
“Just sharing this masterpiece with the squad.” Allen groaned again, but a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
“I’m going to regret this.” “Maybe,” Zoe said, slipping her phone back into her pocket.
“But it’s worth it.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
