Chapter 1244: Mana Boost Sundae (Car Bonus) Chapter 1244: Mana Boost Sundae (Car Bonus) Villain Ch 1244.
Mana Boost Sundae They found an empty table near the corner of the cafe, and as soon as they sat down, a holographic menu materialized in front of them.
The display was sleek and responsive, cycling through options with a swipe of the hand.
Zoe leaned forward, scrolling through the menu with wide eyes.
“This is insane.
Look at this, Allen!
They’ve got a burger called the Critical Hit Stack and a dessert called the Mana Boost Sundae!
How do people even come up with this stuff?” Allen chuckled, leaning back in his seat.
“It’s called marketing.
Slap a gamer tag on anything, and people like you will line up for it.” Zoe stuck her tongue out at him but couldn’t hide her excitement.
Her finger hovered over the hologram as she debated what to order.
“Okay, but the Mana Boost Sundae actually sounds legit.
It’s got all my favorite toppings.” “Then get it,” Allen said, his tone casual as he swiped through his own menu.
“I’ll take the Boss Fight Platter.
Let’s see if it lives up to the hype.” “Big spender,” Zoe teased, selecting her food and drink-a health potion-themed smoothie that came in a flask-shaped glass.
“What about drinks?
They’ve got an XP Potion Latte.” “Too sweet,” Allen said, wrinkling his nose.
“I’ll stick with the Dark Knight Brew.
Sounds more like my speed.” “Of course, it does,” Zoe said with a grin.
“You and your edgy themes.” Allen smirked but didn’t reply, and soon their orders were placed.
The holographic menu vanished with a soft chime, leaving them to wait.
Zoe couldn’t help but tap her fingers on the table, her excitement bubbling over.
The whole place was like something out of a dream-bright, futuristic, and filled with subtle nods to the gaming world she loved.
She glanced around, her eyes catching on a group of players huddled in a VR pod, cheering loudly as one of them scored a win.
The energy in the air was infectious, and she felt a wide grin spread across her face.
But what really made her heart race was sitting right across from her.
Allen looked so calm, so effortlessly cool, like this kind of place was just another casual hangout for him.
He watched her with that small, knowing smirk, and it sent her pulse racing.
She tried to play it cool, but every little thing he did-how he leaned back in his chair, how his fingers tapped lightly on the table-made her stomach flutter.
‘Why does he have this effect on me?
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
‘she wondered, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear to hide the fact that her cheeks were probably pink.
She was about to say something to fill the silence when Allen suddenly leaned forward, reaching into his jacket pocket.
“Hey,” he said, his tone softer now.
“I’ve got something for you.” Zoe blinked, her heart skipping a beat.
“What?” Allen pulled out a small, neatly wrapped box, tied with a blue ribbon.
“Call it an early surprise.
Go ahead-open it.” Her hands trembled slightly as she took the box, her mind racing.
‘What is this?
Why does this feel so…
significant?’ She carefully untied the ribbon and peeled back the wrapping, her excitement building with every second.
Inside was a sleek, velvet case.
Zoe glanced up at Allen, who was watching her with an unreadable expression, then opened the case.
Her breath caught.
It was a bracelet.
No, not just any bracelet-it was a pair of bracelets, one black with a trident charm and the other silver with a delicate wave.
They were simple but beautiful, and the design felt so…
them.
Zoe stared at the bracelets for a moment, her heart pounding.
“Allen, this is…” “You like it?” Allen asked, his smirk softening into a small, genuine smile.
“Like it?” Zoe said, her voice a little higher than she intended.
“Allen, I love it.
This is amazing.
How-when did you even-” She stopped, her thoughts too jumbled to form a coherent sentence.
Allen chuckled, leaning back again.
“Ordered it yesterday.
Figured it’d be something you’d like.
The trident’s for me, and the wave…
well, it reminded me of you.” Zoe’s cheeks burned, and she looked down at the bracelets again, her fingers brushing over the charms.
“You’re…
you’re too much, you know that?” “Maybe,” Allen said with a shrug.
“But it’s worth it to see you smile like that.” Her heart felt like it might explode.
She glanced back up at him, her grin so wide it almost hurt.
“Thank you.
Really.
This is the best surprise ever.” “Good,” Allen said, his voice quieter now.
“That’s what I was going for.” For a moment, Zoe forgot about everything else-the cafe, the food, even the Devil Emperor booth from earlier.
It was just her and Allen, and the way he was looking at her made her feel like she was the only person in the world.
Their food arrived not long after, the server-a sleek robot on wheels-delivering their plates with mechanical movements.
Its monotone voice announced, “Enjoy your meal,” before it whirred away to the next table.
Zoe couldn’t help but giggle at the whole interaction, shaking her head as she eyed her Mana Boost Sundae.
“Okay,” she said, leaning closer to inspect the dessert monstrosity.
“This looks even more ridiculous than I thought it would.” Allen glanced at her plate, his eyebrow raised.
“You ordered it.
You’ve only got yourself to blame.” “Oh, hush,” Zoe said, sticking her tongue out at him.
“Look at your Boss Fight Platter!
That thing’s basically a skyscraper made of grease and carbs.” Allen smirked, picking up one of the onion rings from the stack.
“Difference is, I can handle mine.
Think you can finish that rainbow sugar bomb over there?” Zoe laughed, scooping a bit of whipped cream onto her spoon.
“Watch me.” She took a dramatic bite, the sweetness hitting her instantly.
“Mmm, okay.
This is actually amazing.” “Sure it is,” Allen said, already halfway through demolishing the first burger in his platter.
“Just don’t go into a sugar coma halfway through.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
