Chapter 1255: Less Talking, More Shooting!
Villain Ch 1255.
Less Talking, More Shooting!
The Anglerqueen let out a low, gurgling growl, her enormous maw opening slightly to reveal rows of razor-sharp teeth.
Her bulbous eyes flickered, locking onto the city gates as if drawn to their protective aura.
“Enjoy,” Allen said, his voice practically dripping with amusement.
With a snap of his fingers, he activated Shadow Step, vanishing into the darkness before anyone could react.
“No!” Elio shouted, but it was too late.
The Anglerqueen wasted no time.
Her glowing lure pulsed rhythmically, casting an eerie light over the battlefield.
She let out an ear-splitting screech before tilting her head back and opening her mouth.
Without warning, she showered dozens of boulders straight at the gates.
The impact was deafening.
The ground shook violently, throwing several players off balance once again.
Dust and debris rained down from the walls as the gates visibly splintered under the assault.
[City Gates: 913,000 / 1,000,000 HP.] “Shit!” Arcana cursed, his mount stomping nervously beneath him.
“She’s targeting the gates!” Gil squinted, his daggers glinting as he scowled at the small but ridiculously powerful monster.
“How the hell does something that small throw boulders like that?” “Don’t ask,” Elio replied tersely, his eyes locked on the boss.
“Just take it out before it brings the gates down.” Before anyone could act, James and Noah stepped up.
“Leave this to us,” James said, his tone cool but confident.
“Yeah,” Noah added, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
“You guys focus on the horde.
We’ve got the ugly fish queen.” Elio hesitated for a split second but nodded.
“Fine.
Take her down fast.
We’ll hold the line here.” James turned his mount sharply, his eyes locking onto the Anglerqueen.
“Noah, you ready?” “Always,” Noah replied, his smirk growing as he summoned his new mount, a huge wolf.
It was a special type and only available in the item mall.
It could jump out the gates and walls easily.

Likewise with James.
They rode up, landing gracefully on the ground.
The two hunters moved like shadows, splitting off in opposite directions as they began their assault. James nocked an arrow and activated Arrow Strike, releasing a single, glowing shot that streaked through the air and struck the Anglerqueen square in the jaw.
She screeched in pain, her glowing tendrils writhing angrily.
“My beautiful face!
How dare you!” she screamed.
Noah followed up immediately, activating Arrow Shower.
He loosed a flurry of arrows into the sky, and they rained down like a storm of death, piercing the Anglerqueen’s slimy hide and the ground around her.
“Not so tough now, are you?” James taunted as he fired another shot.
The Anglerqueen let out a shrill, otherworldly wail, her body trembling.
Suddenly, dozens of grotesque Mermen emerged, their hands clutching pans and tartar sauce bottles.
Their gills flared as they hissed, their glowing eyes locking onto the hunters.
“Great,” James muttered, cringing.
“She brought more weirdos.” “Wouldn’t be fun otherwise,” Noah said dryly, firing another Arrow Strike at one of the Mermen.
The arrow struck true, the creature collapsing in a heap, but two more took its place, charging at him with their weapons raised.
The Anglerqueen opened her maw again, a guttural growl reverberating across the battlefield as her glowing tendrils writhed.
This time, she wasn’t targeting the gates or the walls.
Her bulbous, glowing eyes fixed on the two hunters weaving through her Merman minions.
With a loud screech, she launched a massive boulder straight at them.
“Move!” Noah yelled, yanking the reins of his massive wolf mount, which leaped sideways with incredible agility.
James wasn’t far behind, his own wolf darting in the opposite direction.
The ground shook as the boulder smashed into the dirt where they had been seconds before, sending debris flying in every direction.
But the Anglerqueen wasn’t done.
Her maw opened wider, and another boulder hurtled toward the pair.
James swore under his breath, yanking his mount hard to the left.
“She’s got a grudge or what?” “Looks like it,” Noah called back, narrowly avoiding a second impact.
Despite their quick reactions, the splash damage was unavoidable.
The shockwaves slammed into their mounts, and both hunters were thrown off, hitting the ground hard.
“Damn it!” James muttered, rolling to his feet and quickly nocking an arrow.
He glanced at Noah, who was already standing with a grim expression, his bow drawn.
Up on the walls, Father^Alex watched the chaos unfold.
He stepped forward, his staff glowing faintly as he activated Holy Barrier.
A shimmering dome of light surrounded James and Noah just as another wave of boulders flew from the Anglerqueen’s mouth.
This time, the projectiles deflected harmlessly off the barrier, leaving the hunters unscathed.
“I’ve got you,” Alex said quietly, though his voice carried across the battlefield.
His hands tightened on his staff, a faint sheen of sweat on his brow as he maintained the spell.
James glanced toward the walls, his usual grin returning despite the tension.
He gave Alex a quick thumbs-up.
“Appreciate it.
Keep that going, and I might name my next pet after you.” Noah dodged a wild swing from a Merman wielding a rusted pan.
“Less talking, more shooting!” he snapped, firing a precise Arrow Strike that pierced through the Merman’s chest.
“And Alex, don’t let up on the heals.
She’s tougher than she looks!” Alex nodded, already casting Healing Light.
The soft golden light surged across the battlefield, mending their wounds and bolstering their stamina.
The Anglerqueen screeched again, her pulsating body glowing brighter.
Her tendrils slammed into the ground, sending a shockwave that rippled outward, forcing the hunters to brace themselves.
“Damn, she’s pissed,” James muttered, brushing the dirt off his armor as he steadied himself.
“Good,” Noah said, his voice cold and determined.
He drew two arrows at once, both tipped with a faint blue glow.
“Let’s keep it that way.” The two hunters moved in sync, weaving between the growing swarm of Mermen.
They targeted the Anglerqueen with relentless precision, their arrows finding weak points in her glowing hide.
“HURT!
IT’S HURT!” she screamed.
