Chapter 1257: Hit Them Hard!
Chapter 1257: Hit Them Hard!
Villain Ch 1257.
Hit Them Hard!
Elio didn’t answer immediately, his eyes fixed on the advancing horde below.
His mind raced, analyzing the situation, trying to piece together the villains’ strategy.
The Devil Emperor and his crew were nowhere to be seen, and that was what unnerved him the most.
They could appear at any moment-like before-right at the gates, delivering a devastating blow when the tanks and melee players came out when they decided to open the gates.
His jaw clenched as he glanced at the gate.
The blacksmiths were working frantically to patch the damage left by the Anglerqueen and the Emperor’s earlier attack.
One more powerful skill with some bosses like The Anglerqueen and it could be over.
“We need to act,” Elio said finally, his voice firm.
“We’ll go out using our new mounts.” Gil’s head whipped toward him.
“Are you sure?
I thought we were saving those for an ambush attack.” “I was,” Elio admitted, his tone steady but grim.
“But this is exactly what the villains want.
They’re trying to force us into opening the gates.” Gil huffed, running a hand through his hair as his eyes flicked toward the horde, now dangerously close.
“So what you’re saying is… we have to go out there without opening the gates?” Elio nodded.
“Exactly.
We take the fight to them before they get too close.
Hit them hard, hold the line, and give the ranged DPS time to do their job.” Gil let out a sharp exhale, shaking his head but not arguing.
“Alright.
Crazy plan, but I’m in.” Elio turned to Arcana and Red_King, who had been listening intently.
“Do you agree?” he asked, his tone serious.
Arcana frowned, his gauntleted hand gripping the reins of his warhorse tightly.
“I hate when we have to bring out one of our best weapons so early like this,” he said, his tone heavy with reluctance.
“But… it’s better than being too late.
If we wait for them to strike first, it’ll be a disaster.” “I agree,” Red_King said, his face set in a grim expression.
His High Knight armor gleamed under the flickering light of spells and fireballs, his stance unwavering.
“I don’t like this either, but it’s necessary.

We can’t let them dictate the terms of this battle.” Elio nodded, turning toward the walls where rows of tanks stood ready, their mounts shifting anxiously beneath them.
He took a deep breath, stepping forward to address them.
“Listen up!” he called, his voice ringing out over the cacophony of the battlefield.
Every tank within earshot turned to him.
“We’re not waiting for the gates to fall!” Elio shouted, his tone commanding.
“The horde is closing in, and the villains are still out there.
We can’t give them the chance to catch us off guard.
We’re going out-now.
And we’re using the new mounts.” A ripple of murmurs spread through the group, some players exchanging uneasy glances.
The new mounts were their ace in the hole, a game-changer they’d been saving for the perfect moment.
But now, they’d have to reveal them earlier than planned.
“We’ll hold the line outside the gates,” Elio continued.
“Our job is to stop the horde from reaching the walls.
The ranged DPS will cover us from up here.
Priests, keep the heals coming.
Blacksmiths, focus on reinforcing the gate.
We’re buying you time.” One of the tanks raised a hand, his voice uncertain.
“But what about the villains?” Elio’s gaze didn’t waver.
“They might ambush us,” he admitted, his tone grim.
“But if we stay here and let this horde reach the gates, it won’t matter.
We’ll be overwhelmed.” The silence that followed was thick with tension.
The tanks exchanged uneasy glances, their grips tightening on their weapons.
Finally, another voice chimed in, steadier this time.
“He’s right.
Better to face them head-on than wait to get ambushed.” Elio nodded, his jaw set as he turned to address the gathered players.
“We stick to the plan.
Hit them hard, hold the line, and don’t lose focus.
Together, we can stop this.” “Together!” a knight echoed, raising his shield high.
His cry was quickly picked up by others, their voices growing louder as determination replaced fear.
The sound of shields clanging and weapons being drawn echoed like a battle hymn, rallying the players.
Gil smirked from his place nearby.
“Well, looks like you’ve got them fired up, boss.
Let’s hope we survive long enough to win this battle.” Elio cracked a faint smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“We don’t have a choice.
Let’s move.” He turned toward Arcana and Red_King, both of whom were watching the scene unfold with serious expressions.
“You ready?” Elio asked.
Arcana sighed.
“Ready.” Red_King nodded.
“Let’s do it.” Satisfied, Elio raised his hand, signaling the melee players.
“Dismount and summon your wolves.” The sound of players hopping off their mounts filled the air as the common steeds were dismissed in favor of something far more fearsome.
Inventory screens flashed as players selected their new mounts-massive, muscular wolves.
Some of the wolves were sleek and built for speed, while others were clad in gleaming armor, their higher defense stats obvious.
The wolves materialized with low growls, their eyes glowing faintly as they awaited orders.
The players climbed onto their backs, gripping the reins tightly.
Elio scanned the rows of wolves and their riders, his heart pounding as he saw their readiness.
“Good,” he said, nodding.
He turned to Arcana and Red_King.
“Let’s make this count.” Arcana smirked.
“I’ll lead the warriors.” Red_King chuckled.
“Try to keep up then.
‘Cause I’m with the assassins and rogues.” Elio raised his voice, his words sharp and commanding.
“Charge!” The wolves roared into motion, their powerful legs propelling them forward.
The first wave of wolves leapt over the city walls in a breathtaking display of agility, their armored forms gleaming in the light.
The sight was enough to make the defending players cheer, their morale soaring as they watched the elite mounts in action.
