Chapter 1272: Ten More Minutes… Chapter 1272: Ten More Minutes… Villain Ch 1272.
Ten More Minutes… [Event time remaining: 11:05] The city of Debaris was in ruins.
Fires raged unchecked through the streets, their light casting flickering shadows across the carnage.
The ground trembled under the Devil Emperor’s advancing army, the ceaseless march of monsters, and the screams of desperate players fighting to hold their ground.
And at the center of it all, the Devil Emperor-walked leisurely toward the City Core.
A trail of blood followed him, marking his path of destruction.
A cheerful hum escaped his lips, almost childlike in its innocence, as he swung his blade again.
The sickening sound of steel meeting flesh filled the air as another player fell before him, their health bar dropping to zero.
[Player Defeated!] Allen didn’t pause.
His blade moved with an almost lazy elegance, carving through the next defender who rushed him.
Their shield shattered beneath the force of his Telekinesis Blast, and his sword plunged through their chest without resistance.
“Ah, they just keep coming,” Allen said with mock exasperation, glancing down at the fresh blood now staining his gauntlet.
“Such dedication.
Admirable, really.” More players emerged from the shadows, their faces grim with determination.
One rogue activated Shadow Leap, appearing behind Allen and aiming for his back.
But Allen didn’t even turn.
With a flick of his wrist, he summoned a Demonic Orb that exploded on contact, sending the rogue flying.
[Player Defeated!] Two warriors charged from the front, their axes glowing with holy energy.
“ARGGG!” they shouted, their voice filled with resolve.
Allen tilted his head, almost pitying them.
“Oh, how adorable,” he said, stepping aside with effortless grace as the axes swung harmlessly through the air.
Before the warriors could recover, Allen’s blade sliced upward and he plugged his blade into the other one.
The warriors collapsed, their health bar hitting zero.
[Players Defeated!] The Devil Emperor resumed his leisurely pace, his boots crunching against the rubble beneath him.
Around him, the Verdant Colossi summoned by the alchemists were burning, their massive plant-like forms consumed by his Hellfire Rain.
The air was thick with ash and smoke, the fires casting an ominous glow on the battlefield.
Ahead, the City Core came into view.
The glowing obelisk pulsed faintly, its light flickering like a dying star.
Monsters clawed at its base, their relentless attacks chipping away at its health.
The defenders were doing their best to hold the line-healers casting Mass Heal to restore the core’s HP, tanks trying to draw the monsters away, and DPS players desperately fighting to thin their numbers.

Among them, Father^Alex stood at the front, his staff glowing as he cast Holy Barrier around the core.
His normally shy demeanor was replaced with fierce determination, his voice steady as he barked commands.
“Keep healing!
Don’t let it fall!” A group of tanks charged forward, their shields raised as they formed a wall to block the advancing horde.
One of them shouted, “Draw them away from the core!
We just need to hold out a little longer!” Allen stopped, watching the struggle unfold before him.
His lips curled into a cruel smile as he chuckled softly.
“Look at them,” he murmured to himself.
“So desperate.
So… pathetic.” He raised his sword, the blade glowing faintly with dark energy.
“Let’s make this more interesting.” “Savage Reanimation.” A dark wave rippled out from him, spreading across the battlefield.
The fallen monsters twitched, then began to rise, their glowing eyes filled with unnatural energy.
The defenders’ expressions shifted from determination to horror as the newly reanimated monsters surged toward the core, adding to the already overwhelming horde.
“No!” Father^Alex shouted, his voice cracking as he cast Mass Healing in a desperate attempt to keep the core intact.
“Focus your attacks on the reanimated ones!
Don’t let them reach the core!” But the defenders were stretched too thin.
The reanimated monsters crashed into their ranks, tearing through the DPS players with brutal efficiency.
The tanks tried to hold their ground, but they were quickly overwhelmed.
“Damn it, there’s too many!” a mage shouted, their hands trembling as they launched another Fireball.
Another tank turned to Father^Alex, their shield dented and their health bar dangerously low.
“We can’t hold this much longer!
Where’s the backup?!” “There is no backup!” Father^Alex replied, his voice strained as he cast another Healing Light.
“It’s just us now!” Allen laughed, his voice carrying across the battlefield like a bell tolling for the defenders’ doom.
“You’re all doing so well,” he called out, his tone mockingly cheerful.
“But don’t worry, it’ll all be over soon.” He stepped closer, his sword dragging along the ground and leaving a faint trail of sparks.
The glowing obelisk was now less than fifty meters away, its faint light barely holding against the relentless assault.
A rogue emerged from the shadows, their daggers glowing as they lunged toward Allen’s back.
This time, Allen turned, his blade moving faster than the eye could follow.
The rogue froze mid-strike, blood dripping from their chest as they collapsed to the ground.
[Player Defeated!] “Do you ever learn?” Allen said, shaking his head as he resumed his pace.
Another group of players rushed him, a mix of tanks and melee DPS.
One of them shouted, “For the core!” as they charged.
Allen sighed.
“For the core, indeed.” He activated Dark Storm, a swirling vortex of shadow and lightning erupting around him.
The charging players were caught in the storm, their health bars dropping rapidly as they were flung aside like ragdolls.
[Players Defeated!] The remaining defenders near the core were visibly panicking.
The healers’ spells were coming slower, their mana bars dangerously low.
The DPS players were being picked off one by one, their attacks unable to stem the tide of monsters.
Father^Alex stood firm, his hands glowing as he cast Barrier after Barrier around the core.
“We just need to hold out!” he shouted, his voice filled with determination.
“Ten more minutes!” Allen tilted his head, his smile widening.
“Ten minutes?
Oh, I can’t wait that long.” He raised his sword again, dark energy swirling around him as he prepared another spell.
The defenders braced themselves, their remaining hope dwindling as the Devil Emperor closed in.
And the clock ticked on.
