Chapter 1274: I’ve Lost Everything, So I’ll Take Everything Chapter 1274: I’ve Lost Everything, So I’ll Take Everything Villain Ch 1274.
I’ve Lost Everything, So I’ll Take Everything The emperor tilted his head, his expression cold and unreadable.
His glowing eyes bore into her, as if weighing her worth in the moment before deciding whether she was even worth killing.
“Wait?” he repeated softly, his voice low and mocking.
“What exactly are you waiting for?
A miracle?” She fell to her knees, her staff slipping from her trembling hands.
Her hair clung to her face, damp with sweat and blood.
Desperation etched across her face, but her mind raced for anything, anything, that could save her now.
And then she remembered.
“Zael…” she whispered, her voice trembling but loud enough to catch his attention.
The emperor froze, his smirk faltering slightly as he regarded her with a sharp, calculating gaze.
“What did you just say?” he asked, his voice dropping an octave, a dangerous edge creeping into his tone.
“Zael,” Sophia said again, louder this time.
She forced herself to meet his gaze, summoning every ounce of courage she had left.
“Do you remember it?
Do you remember who you were before all of this?” For a brief moment, silence fell over the battlefield.
The fires crackled, the distant screams of struggling players faded, and even the relentless monsters seemed to pause as if waiting for his response.
The emperor’s lips twitched, and then he laughed.
It wasn’t a soft chuckle or a playful laugh.
It was sharp, bitter, and filled with venom, reverberating through the ruined streets like the tolling of a death knell.
“Oh, this is rich,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery.
“You’re trying to appeal to the man I used to be.
The Prince Zael you think you know.” Sophia swallowed hard, her chest heaving as she fought to keep her voice steady.
“I do know him.
You weren’t like this.
You fought for peace.
For justice.
For a better world.
You were the light of the kingdom.
Everyone believed in you.” The emperor’s laughter cut her off, his blade lowering slightly as he stepped closer.

“Believed in me?” he echoed, his tone growing colder with each word.
“Yes, they did, didn’t they?
They believed in me as I bled for them, as I sacrificed everything for their peace.
And what did I get in return?” Sophia shook her head, tears welling in her eyes.
“That doesn’t matter now!
You can still-” “What did I get in return?!” the emperor roared, his voice booming like thunder.
His smirk vanished, replaced by a snarl as he loomed over her.
“I got betrayal.
I got nothing but ashes and blood.
That light you speak of?
It’s dead.
And so is Prince Zael.” Sophia trembled but pressed on, her voice desperate.
“You don’t have to let that define you!
You can still change-” The emperor’s smirk returned, but this time it was darker, colder, almost sadistic.
“Oh, lil kitten,” he said softly, crouching slightly so that his face was level with hers.
“You misunderstand.
The past doesn’t define me.
It shaped me.
It made me what I am.” He straightened, his blade glowing faintly as he gestured toward the core.
“And what I am is inevitable.” Without another word, the emperor snapped his fingers.
“Abyssal Descent.” The ground beneath them erupted with dark energy, a swirling vortex of shadow and spectral hands clawing their way into the battlefield.
The core flickered violently as the attack spread, its health bar dropping rapidly.
Players around the core screamed as they were dragged into the abyss, their health bars vanishing one by one.
The remaining members of the Arcane Wardens were caught in the chaos, their spells interrupted as the spectral hands pulled them into the darkness.
One by one, they fell, their cries echoing as they disappeared into the void.
[Players Defeated!] Sophia screamed as the abyssal energy surged toward her, but somehow, she remained untouched.
The shadows swirled around her, sparing her for reasons she didn’t understand-until she looked up and saw the emperor’s eyes fixed on her.
He tilted his head, his expression almost curious as he stepped forward.
“Your words,” he said, his tone conversational.
“They won’t change anything.
No one can change the past.” Sophia shook her head, tears streaming down her face.
“The past doesn’t have to matter!
You were a good man, Zael!
You can still-” “Stop,” the emperor said, his voice sharp and commanding.
His eyes narrowed, his smirk fading as he regarded her with cold detachment.
“This isn’t some fairytale.
There’s no redemption arc here.
What’s broken stays broken.” He reached out, grabbing her by the throat and lifting her off the ground with ease.
Sophia gasped, her hands clawing at his gauntlet as she struggled to breathe.
“Sometimes,” he continued, his tone low and deadly, “the past isn’t meant to be fixed.
It’s meant to destroy.
To remake.
To turn naïve princes into emperors.” Sophia’s vision blurred as she choked, her voice barely a whisper.
“Please… you don’t… have to do this…” The emperor tilted his head, his expression almost pitying.
“Oh, but I do,” he said softly.
“Because I’ve lost everything.
And now… I’ll take everything.” He tightened his grip, her struggles growing weaker as her health bar dropped rapidly.
He leaned closer, his voice a cold whisper in her ear.
“Goodbye, lil kitten.” With a final, brutal squeeze, her health bar hit zero.
[Player Defeated!] He let Sophia’s lifeless body fall to the ground.
She landed with a dull thud, her hair splayed around her pale face, and for a moment, the battlefield seemed to hold its breath.
The Devil Emperor straightened, brushing the blood from his gauntlet as though her death had been nothing more than an afterthought.
The City Core, glowing faintly in the distance, flickered as monsters tore into it relentlessly.
He glanced at the fractured obelisk, a smirk curling at the edges of his lips.
“Almost done,” he murmured, his tone carrying a cold finality.
[Event Time Remaining: 05:01] Just as he began to step forward, a sharp sound cut through the chaos-the unmistakable clang of metal against stone.
