Chapter 1281: Rawr!
Chapter 1281: Rawr!
Villain Ch 1281.
Rawr!
“Exactly!” Bella snapped her fingers.
“I mean, sure, Elio fought like a beast, and Azura was everywhere at once, but Alex?
That man practically carried the defense.” Alice let out a low whistle, a grin tugging at her lips.
“Huh.
You know what?
I didn’t see that coming.
But… I’ll say it-he’s kinda cool.” Vivian raised a brow, clearly amused.
“Alice, please.
Since when do you simp for healers?” Alice shrugged, grinning wider.
“I don’t simp, but credit where it’s due.
Dude’s impressive.
Shockingly so.
Kept his guild alive when they were out of options?
Respect.” “Fine, fine,” Zoe said, waving her hand dismissively.
“But let’s not pretend we didn’t dominate that fight.
Credit to their healer or not, we still walked out of there as the winners.” “Obviously,” Larissa added coolly, her crimson eyes gleaming faintly.
“But I won’t deny it.
The next time we fight, Elio and Azura are going to be a bigger problem.” She paused, tilting her head slightly.
“And that healer?
Alex?
He’s a wildcard now.
Also that Red_King guy.” “Wildcards make things interesting,” Shea said, her lips curling into a small smile.
“It’s been a while since we had someone unexpected to deal with.” “True.” Bella smiled, her fox-like features lighting up.
“Gotta admit, I’m looking forward to it.” Allen finally spoke, his voice cutting through their chatter like a blade.
“They’re improving.
That’s good.

A strong enemy makes for a better game.” He glanced toward the Cursed Crypt.
“Let them celebrate their close call.
Let them think they’ve grown stronger.” His smirk widened, and his crimson eyes burned brighter.
“Because when they come back?
I’ll remind them why they lost.” There was a beat of silence after his words.
“You know,” Vivian drawled, swinging her whip lazily and leaning her weight onto one hip.
“I love it when Allen’s still in his full-on villain mode.” She flashed a mischievous grin, her voice dropping into something low and playful.
“It makes me want to go… rawr.” The group froze for half a second.
Bella blinked.
“…Rawr?” Vivian shrugged with an unapologetic smile.
“What?
I’m just saying what we’re all thinking.” Allen shot her a look, raising one brow.
“We all are?” “Absolutely,” she purred, her grin only widening.
“You’re terrifying, you know that?
Monologuing with fire behind you and your eyes all glowy-red-it’s a vibe.” Shea groaned, throwing her head back.
“Oh my god, Vivian, stop.” Vivian just laughed, flicking her whip with a sharp snap.
“What?
I’m not wrong!
You’ve got the whole Devil Emperor aesthetic down, Allen.
It’s like you were born to be this cool.” Larissa, who had been quietly listening with her arms crossed, finally stepped in.
“Hold on, hold on, guys,” she said, raising both hands.
“Can we not derail into whatever weird villain-crush territory this is turning into?
I swear every time we win something, Vivian starts simping again.” “I’m not simping!” Vivian shot back, even though her grin betrayed her.
“You literally said ‘rawr,'” Jane chimed in, smirking.
“I like it~” “That’s flirting at best,” Shea added with a roll of her eyes.
“At worst, it’s cringe.” Vivian gasped dramatically, pressing a hand to her chest.
“Cringe?
I’ll have you know I am always tasteful.” Allen sighed heavily, dragging a hand over his face as the rest of them bickered.
“I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again-you’re all unhinged.” Zoe grinned, her tentacles twitching in amusement.
“Yeah, but you like it.” “I tolerate it,” Allen corrected, though the faintest ghost of a smile tugged at his lips.
“Same thing,” Zoe replied smoothly.
Larissa finally broke her silence, tilting her head with a cool smile.
“Well, Vivian’s not entirely wrong.
You are a natural at this, Allen.
The chaos, the theatrics…” Her crimson eyes gleamed faintly.
“You’re exactly what a villain should be.” “Thank you,” Vivian said, shooting Larissa finger guns.
“At least someone gets it.” Jane groaned, rubbing her temples.
“I’m surrounded by lunatics.” “Look a lunatic says lunatic,” teased Bella.
“Because deep down, you love us,” Shea teased, nudging Jane with Jane’s elbow.
Jane shot her a deadpan look.
“I stay because someone has to keep you all alive when you inevitably do something stupid.” Bella laughed, crossing her arms as a playful breeze kicked up around her.
“Admit it, Jane.
You like the chaos too.
You’re just too grumpy to show it.” Jane gave her a long, dry stare.
“I literally summon undead and blow them up for fun.
I think I’ve proven I’m chaotic enough, thank you.” “Fair point,” Bella conceded with a grin.
Allen shook his head, though their banter was more comforting than he’d admit.
He could still feel the adrenaline of the battle pulsing faintly under his skin, the memory of Elio’s blade and Azura’s relentless attacks replaying in his mind.
They had been strong.
Annoyingly strong.
But not strong enough.
Vivian’s earlier comment stuck with him, though.
He did have a flair for theatrics-it was part of the role, after all.
And the way they’d fought back, clawing for every last second, had made the victory taste even better.
Winning against weak opponents was hollow.
But when the defenders-Elio, Azura, even that healer Alex-pushed him so close to the edge, their desperation made his triumph all the sweeter.
Shea’s voice cut through his thoughts, breaking the calm.
“So?
The ones who will come to the conference in the real world are Elio, Azura, and Alex.” Allen raised an eyebrow, turning his head slightly toward her.
She stood with her arms folded.
Her sharp gaze was serious, though a hint of curiosity lingered in it.
“Alex and Azura are no problem,” Shea continued, tilting her head, “but Elio…” She trailed off, her meaning clear enough for the rest of them to pick up.
“Maybe he will be.” Vivian’s grin faltered slightly as she looked between Shea and Allen.
“Oh boy, here we go.
We’re talking about that now?” Shea nodded.
“He’s gonna be surprised as hell to see you there, Allen.
The guy will lose it when he finds out you’re a Goldborne.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
