Chapter 1301: One Hell of a Twist (Spacecraft Bonus) Chapter 1301: One Hell of a Twist (Spacecraft Bonus) Villain Ch 1301.
One Hell of a Twist Mila’s eyes narrowed, her voice icy.
“I’ll approach him if I want to.
Not because you two want to use me for your little networking schemes.” Noah chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender.
“Alright, alright.
No need to bite my head off.
I’m just saying-he’s a solid connection and wealth.
You’d be crazy not to.” “Crazy?” Mila said, her voice sharp.
“What’s crazy is you thinking I’m your tool.
I make my own decisions, thank you very much.” James glanced between them, his smirk softening.
“Fair enough,” he said lightly.
“But you can’t deny it’s… interesting.
This changes a lot.” Mila didn’t respond, her gaze drifting back to Allen.
Her thoughts were swirling with a mix of intrigue and frustration.
‘Why didn’t he ever mention this?’ she wondered.
Not that she’d ever had a reason to know, but still-it felt like a piece of a puzzle she hadn’t realized was missing until now.
Noah leaned back, his grin returning.
“Well, either way, it’s going to be fun watching this play out.” James leaned forward.
“Do you think he’s been covering this up?
I mean, when we first met him, he seemed more… I don’t know, hostile?” Noah raised an eyebrow, shrugging casually.
“Well, wouldn’t you be?
Imagine if you got cornered like he did back then.
Sophia had us all wrapped around her little finger, making us think badly of him before we even got to know him.
We were biased as hell.” James tilted his head thoughtfully.
“True.
But to be fair, I just played along.
Didn’t think much of it at the time.” Mila, who had been quietly observing, scoffed, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
“So your friendship with Elio and the others was just a ‘play’ too, huh?” James blinked, clearly caught off guard.
“Not really,” he said quickly, his voice defensive.
“Elio’s a good guy.

Straightforward, solid leadership skills.
But he’s not from… you know, the wealthy circles.
Too bad.” Noah nodded in agreement but added with a small grin, “Still, we’re friends with him, aren’t we?
That should prove we don’t base everything on wealth.” He said it in a nonchalant tone, though it didn’t come across as entirely convincing.
“I doubt it.” Mila crossed her arms, her gaze skeptical.
“If one of you suddenly goes bankrupt, are you still friends with each other?” Noah and James exchanged a brief glance before answering almost in unison.
“Of course.” Mila rolled her eyes, scoffing again.
“Oh, really?
I thought your friendship was all about business profit.” Noah chuckled, clearly amused by her persistence.
“Well, yeah, that too.
But hey, you know, for my sister… Your sense of business is a bit… thin.” Mila’s eyes narrowed, her tone sharpening.
“I separate business interests and feelings.
Not everyone blends them together.” Before either could respond, Mila’s attention shifted back to the front of the room.
Allen was now addressing questions from the media, his tone measured and professional.
Her irritation softened as curiosity crept in-this was Allen in professional mode.
Polished, confident, almost untouchable.
James suddenly spoke again, his voice thoughtful.
“You know… I wonder how Mr.
Goldborne found Allen.
I mean, how does something like that even happen?” Noah nodded, leaning forward slightly.
“Same.
I’ve been wondering that too.” The three fell into a brief silence, each of them lost in their thoughts.
Then, as if struck by the same realization, Noah and James gasped simultaneously.
“The photo!” Noah blurted out.
James snapped his fingers.
“Yeah!
The one Jacob (INeedAHotGF) uploaded in the group chat.
Remember?” Mila frowned, glancing between them.
“What photo?” Noah turned to her, his grin widening.
“It was a photo of Allen and Mr.
Goldborne.
At a hospital.” James nodded eagerly, his excitement building.
“Yeah, now that I think about it, that must have been the first clue.
The timing makes sense.
Maybe that’s when they went to confirm the DNA test results.” “Yeah,” Noah said, leaning back with a satisfied nod.
“Between Allen and Mr.
Goldborne.
It’s probably how they confirmed everything.” James shook his head in awe, his expression a mix of disbelief and admiration.
“So wow,” he muttered.
“Just… wow.
Can you imagine?
Finding out you’re a Goldborne like that?” Mila didn’t respond right away, her gaze drifting back to Allen.
He was still answering questions, his demeanor cool and collected, as if he’d been born into this world of wealth and power.
And maybe, she thought, he had been all along-he just hadn’t known it.
Noah nudged her lightly, pulling her back to the moment.
“You good?” Mila nodded, her expression unreadable.
“Yeah.
Just… thinking.” Noah grinned knowingly.
“About what?
How to approach him?” Mila shot him a withering look.
“No.
About how I don’t need your advice.
I have my own method.” James laughed, shaking his head.
“Fair enough.
But still… this is one hell of a twist.” Mila didn’t respond, her thoughts swirling.
‘One hell of a twist,’ indeed.
On the front row, VIP seats, Geralt leaned back in his chair, his grin wide as his gaze remained fixed on the stage.
Beside him, Evan sat with a similar smile, though there was a soft gleam in his eyes, one that spoke of relief and contentment.
Both of them had a front-row view of Allen standing confidently in the spotlight, and it was a sight neither of them thought they’d see.
“He’s really doing it,” Evan said quietly, almost to himself.
His voice carried a mix of amazement and pride.
“Damn right, he is,” Geralt replied, nudging Evan with his elbow.
“And look at him up there-like he was born for it.” Evan chuckled softly but didn’t reply immediately.
His thoughts drifted back to the weeks leading up to this event, specifically the push it had taken to get him here.
He turned to Geralt, his gratitude evident.
“That’s why you forced me to join this event, huh?” Geralt smirked, his tone light but his words sincere.
“Yup.
Someone had to drag you here.
Your dad sure wasn’t making it easy, despite Allen practically rolling out the red carpet for you.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
