Chapter 1333: The Rivalry That Never Ends Chapter 1333: The Rivalry That Never Ends Villain Ch 1333.
The Rivalry That Never Ends Elio opened his mouth to argue, but no words came out.
He couldn’t deny it.
Allen was right.
The people watching might not have fully understood what happened in the dome.
They saw a flashy fight, nothing more.
Allen stepped even closer, his voice dropping to a cold whisper.
“And another thing… If I were the real Devil Emperor, do you think I would’ve spared your life?
Have you ever seen the Emperor leave anyone alive?” Elio swallowed hard, his mind racing.
He remembered every encounter he’d had with the Devil Emperor in Hell’s Gate.
Every battle had been brutal, unforgiving.
The Emperor didn’t just defeat his opponents-he crushed them, leaving no room for mercy.
That was what made him so feared, so infamous.
But still… the similarities.
The smirk, the precision, the way Allen moved-it was too much to ignore.
“Maybe you’ve changed,” Elio said cautiously.
“Maybe the Emperor doesn’t always have to kill.” Allen’s smirk returned, more devilish than before.
“Changed?
You think a character like the Devil Emperor-someone who thrives on chaos, on dominance-would just… change?” Elio didn’t know what to say.
His mind was a whirlwind of confusion, doubt, and a strange sense of fear.
Allen was playing with him again, just like in the fight.
Leading him into a maze of uncertainty.
“Believe what you want, Elio,” Allen said after a long pause, stepping back slightly, his tone more composed.
“If thinking I’m the Devil Emperor makes you sleep better at night, go ahead.
But know this…” He leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a cold whisper.
“If I were the Devil Emperor, you wouldn’t be standing here right now.” Elio’s breath hitched, a chill running down his spine.
He couldn’t tell if Allen was bluffing or if there was some truth hidden in his words.
As a Goldborne, he had that power.
Either way, the message was clear-this conversation wasn’t going anywhere productive.
“I…” Elio started but stopped himself.

He wasn’t sure what he wanted to say.
An apology?
A denial?
A challenge?
None of it felt right.
His mind was still spinning, trying to make sense of what had just happened.
The way Allen had smirked at him, the way his words cut through any defense Elio tried to put up-it was unsettling.
Allen exhaled a long breath, his expression calm but distant.
“But at least I know how you see me now,” he said, his voice low, almost detached.
“A villain.” Elio flinched slightly, guilt creeping into his chest.
“That’s not what I meant-” Allen raised a hand, cutting him off.
“It’s fine.
I don’t mind.
I’m used to it.” He gave Elio a cold, devilish smirk, one that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“People love to paint someone as the bad guy when it’s convenient.
Makes it easier to justify their own actions.” Elio clenched his fists at his sides, feeling a knot of discomfort in his stomach.
He wasn’t proud of how things had played out back then.
When Sophia had turned on Allen and dragged his name through the mud.
When Liam and Darren left Allen for him.
Now, standing face to face with Allen, that guilt weighed heavier than ever.
‘Is this how he felt back then?
Abandoned?
Betrayed?’ “I didn’t-” Elio tried again, but the words caught in his throat.
He couldn’t find the right thing to say.
Allen’s gaze didn’t waver.
“Don’t bother.
I already know.” His voice wasn’t harsh, but it carried a weight that made Elio feel small.
“You didn’t say anything because it was easier that way.
It’s normal, really.” Elio felt a flash of anger, not at Allen, but at himself.
Because Allen was right.
“Now you’ve been through what I went through-Sophia betrayed you, likewise with Liam and Darren,” Allen said, his tone almost indifferent.
“The difference is, you had friends who stood by you, helped you back on your feet.
I didn’t.” He paused, his smirk fading slightly.
“You bounced back quickly, and honestly, that’s a good thing.” Elio’s chest tightened.
He remembered how bad things had gotten for Allen back then.
And unlike Elio, who had only faced minor gossip, Allen had been torn apart by people he trusted.
And the worst of all, he had to crawl out of that pit on his own.
“I can’t imagine what that was like,” Elio said quietly, his voice filled with regret.
“What she did to you… it wasn’t right.” Allen didn’t say anything right away.
His expression didn’t shift; he remained cold, detached, as though Elio’s words barely registered.
But Elio wasn’t fooled.
He knew that beneath Allen’s icy exterior, there was something deeper-something raw.
Allen leaned back slightly, his gaze distant.
“Right or wrong doesn’t change anything.
What happened, happened.
I dealt with it.” Elio felt a knot tighten in his stomach.
He had heard bits and pieces of what went down two years ago, but most of it had come from Sophia’s side of the story.
According to her, it had been a “mistake.” A one-time slip-up that she regretted deeply.
She had painted Allen as cold, distant, and unwilling to forgive her.
“Why didn’t you say anything back then?” Elio asked, his voice quieter.
“About Liam, Darren… Sophia.
You could’ve told everyone what really happened.” Allen’s eyes flicked back to Elio, sharp and calculating.
“And what would that have changed?” he asked, his tone calm but with an edge.
“Would it have stopped them from betraying me?
Would it have stopped Sophia from doing what she did?” Elio hesitated.
He didn’t have an answer for that.
Allen continued, his voice growing colder.
“I didn’t see the point in airing my dirty laundry for everyone to gawk at.
They made their choices, and so did I.
End of story.” Elio clenched his fists, frustration bubbling beneath the surface.
He hated how Allen could be so matter-of-fact about something so personal.
“Still, you didn’t deserve what happened.” Allen gave a humorless chuckle.
“Deserve has nothing to do with it.
People don’t always get what they deserve.
Sometimes, they get what they can survive on.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
