Chapter 1334: A Lone Wolf Chapter 1334: A Lone Wolf Villain Ch 1334.
A Lone Wolf The words hit Elio harder than he expected.
He thought back to that time-how Allen had gone from being a rising star in the competitive gaming world to a lone wolf overnight.
Everyone had speculated.
And when he won, instead of celebrating, he had disappeared.
At the time, Elio had thought Allen was just being dramatic, maybe even arrogant.
But now… now he realized how wrong he had been.
“I know I have said this once in the game.
But I will say it again, personally.
Sorry for everything I have said to you,” Elio admitted, guilt gnawing at him.
Allen’s smirk returned, though it was less devilish this time.
“Apology accepted.
Now, can we drop this?
I’d rather not spend the rest of the night reliving old drama.” “Yeah… sure,” Elio said, though the weight in his chest didn’t fully lift.
The conversation could’ve ended there, but Elio wasn’t done.
There was something else he needed to know-something that had been bothering him since their duel.
“That fight earlier,” he said, meeting Allen’s gaze.
“You weren’t holding back, were you?
The last minutes.” Allen raised an eyebrow.
“I didn’t.” “Ya know… It felt real,” Elio said, his tone serious.
“Too real.
Like you were testing me.” Allen chuckled again, this time with a hint of amusement.
“I wanted to see if you’ve grown since the last time we faced off.” Elio narrowed his eyes.
“And?” Allen’s smirk widened.
“You’ve improved.
But you’re still predictable.” Elio bristled at the comment but couldn’t deny it.
Allen had outmaneuvered him at every turn during their duel, reading his moves like an open book.
“I’ll get better.” “I hope so,” Allen said, pushing off the wall and straightening his posture.
“Because next time, I won’t go easy on you.” There was a challenge in his voice, one that Elio couldn’t ignore.
Despite everything, he felt a spark of determination ignite within him.

He wasn’t going to let Allen get the better of him again-not without a fight.
“Next time,” Elio said, a small grin forming on his lips.
“I’ll be the one who wins.” “We’ll see,” Allen replied, his tone light but confident.
“Until then, try not to eavesdrop on my personal life again.” Elio chuckled despite himself.
“No promises.” Allen gave him one last look, his expression unreadable.
“Keep everything we talked about between us.” Without waiting for a response, he turned on his heel and began walking away, his steps steady.
Elio watched him go, standing there long after Allen had disappeared from sight.
His mind felt like it was trapped in a loop, replaying the conversation over and over.
The smug smirk, the cryptic words, the way Allen had danced around the truth without outright denying anything-it was maddening.
Was he the Devil Emperor or not?
He exhaled heavily, running a hand through his hair in frustration.
‘If he is… does that even matter?’ Allen being the Devil Emperor didn’t change the fact that Elio had fought him, lost to him, and now stood face to face with someone who seemed to be miles ahead of him in both skill and composure.
He felt like a rookie again, like he had so much to learn, so much to prove.
But there was also something else-something more personal.
Elio couldn’t shake the feeling that Allen had endured more than he’d ever let on.
The coldness, the confidence, the devilish smirk… they weren’t just for show.
They were armor, built over time by someone who had faced betrayal and walked through fire alone.
Elio sighed and made his way back to the main hall.
The noise hit him immediately-laughter, clinking glasses, soft music playing in the background.
The energy of the party was in full swing, but Elio couldn’t bring himself to care about any of it.
His thoughts were still tangled in the aftermath of his encounter with Allen.
He spotted Gil and Alexander near the buffet table.
They were chatting casually, Gil munching on some kind of fancy hors d’oeuvre while Alexander sipped from a glass of water.
The moment they saw Elio, Gil’s eyes narrowed with curiosity.
“You okay, man?” Gil asked, nudging him lightly.
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Elio forced a smile, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Yeah.
Just… thinking.” Alexander frowned, concerned flickering in his eyes.
“About the fight?” “Something like that,” Elio muttered, grabbing a glass of water from a nearby tray and taking a sip.
His gaze drifted across the room until it landed on Allen, who was now surrounded by a group of investors.
His expression was calm and composed, his young master persona in full effect.
Gil followed Elio’s gaze, then leaned closer.
“You’re still thinking about Allen, huh?” Elio didn’t respond immediately.
Instead, he watched as Allen laughed politely at something one of the investors said, his body language poised and confident.
It was like watching a completely different person-cool, collected, and in control.
‘Who are you, Allen?’ Elio thought.
‘And what are you hiding?’ “Yeah,” Elio said finally, his voice quiet.
“I guess I am.” Gil gave him a teasing grin.
“Man, you’re obsessed.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you have a crush on him.” Elio shot him a flat look.
“Very funny.” Alexander chuckled softly.
“Can’t blame you, though.
That fight was intense.
And Allen… he’s not what I expected.” “None of this is,” Elio admitted, setting his glass down.
“I knew Allen was skilled, but this… this feels different.” Gil nodded thoughtfully.
“He’s definitely not the same guy we used to know.
But then again, people change.” “Yeah, but…” Elio trailed off, his mind flashing back to Allen’s words.
‘If I were the real Devil Emperor, do you think I would’ve spared your life?’ The words sent a chill down his spine.
He couldn’t shake the feeling that Allen was holding back, that there was more to him than what he let on.
“But what?” Gil prompted, raising an eyebrow.
“Nothing,” Elio said quickly, shaking his head.
“Just thinking out loud.” Gil didn’t press further, but Alexander was still watching Elio closely, as if sensing there was more going on than Elio was letting on.
“Well, whatever it is,” Gil said, clapping Elio on the shoulder, “you’ll figure it out.
Just don’t overthink it.
You’ll drive yourself crazy.” “Yeah,” Elio muttered, though he wasn’t convinced.
He took another sip of water, trying to push the thoughts aside. CREATORS’ THOUGHTS UnholyGod Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
